Hello,
We are starting some big & nice things to motivate you guys on being active on this community and also to bring you a competition and lots of fun!
4-5 days per week (from monday to sunday) will bring you 1 different event that will be hosted by @Gion.The time range when the events will be held will be between 16:00 and 00:59 Server Time. None of the events will be announced prior to their start, the qualifiers will just spawn on cities when the Event does start. One of the events from each week might start at any hour (outside of the 16:00-00:59 interval).
We have introduced a brand NEW rewarding system (OldSquad Points). For additional info, please read further.

Russian Roulette
Death Roll
Black Jack
Game of War
Each of this events will bring you the normal rewards of the event + OS Points depending on your performance (Place/Score,etc.)
What are OS Points?
OS Points are our new competitive points for which we made a new interesting system and competition.
Each month there will be big rewards for first players with the most OS Points and also a default reward for a minimum amount of points. (1st place of the competition will get a GOLDEN FENRIR)
How can you obtain OS Points?
You will be able to obtain OS Points by:
- Winning / Participating (at) weekly events from server (Black Jack, Russian Roulette, Game of War, Death Roll) - the 4 events listed upside.
- Posting hand-made guides on forum (if the guide is accepted you gain a nice amount of OS Points). - Inactive feature for now
- Winning some forum events. - Inactive feature for now
Competition System
The "OldSquad Golden Months" competition is our biggest monthly competition that involves any kind of player from this community that is active. Resets/Level DOESN'T matter, so anyone can participate even if he started the game yesterday.
Your main objective is to gather as many OS Points as you can, participating at as many tasks as possible that gives you points and working your ass out for our big prizes.
Points will be given as following:
- For weekly events : 1st place - 25 OS Points, 2nd place - 20 OS Points, 3rd place - 15 OS Points, 4th place - 11 OSP, 5th place - 8 OSP, all the other places / participants from main events will get 5 OS Points.
- Any good & accepted Hand-Made Guide (to be adapted to our community / settings / gameplay, etc.) will earn you 5-15 OS Points, depending on the quality. - Inactive feature for now
- Forum events can bring you from 1 to 5 OSP depending on event. - Inactive feature for now
The 1st place (winner of the competition) will also enter the "Legends" group.
We are still developing this system and only time can improve it as much as possible by adding new things or removing others. So we'll see how it goes, we hope that it will be a nice thing to motivate you.
***You can check the OSGM Rankings on the website, click Rankings, then hit OldSquad Golden Months (you have to select your server, too).
At the end of the month, if 2 players are having the same amount of OSP, the number of participations will do the shootout.
Legends Group
Legends is our new Forum group where the "legends" of OldSquad will be listed.To be a legend means:
- Being an oldie member of this community with some achievements (like 1st full char on different editions, impressive performances during an edition, etc.) - but only if the player is still active on this community he have the slot on legends (players that did some achievements for 1-2 months and then left doesn't have any right for this group).
or
- Being a retired member of staff that helped this community with visible things not only with the name.
or
- Proving loyalty to this community and also remarkable performances on game or remarkable contributions to this community (apart from staff).
or
- Winning 1st place of the new "Golden Months" competition.
What "advantages" has this group?
Firstly, it's the fame (that even if it seems underrated is still something that people like to have on the online zone).
Secondly, the members of this group are more trusted from us on their reports and also have a bigger word to say on major changes or ideas as they have enough experience here to know what's better or what's not good.
And the last thing, members of this group will always have a "priority" on the vote polls (like if there is a situation of 50%-50% on a vote poll but one of the choices have more "legends" votes, that option will win).

If the game is not working or you have errors follow these steps:
If you receive Administrator permission error when launching Launcher (PlayInception.exe) - red warning - you need to disable UAC from registries. START GAME ONLY VIA LAUNCHER (PlayInception.exe), OR MAIN.EXE, else the game will not start!
If you have extraction problems (archive is corrupt, etc.) then install LATEST WinRar version.
You need to have a clean WINDOWS without VIRUSES or ROOTKITS, else the game won't work! To clean your PC fast & efficient use Malwarebytes (scan + repair): https://www.malwarebytes.com/antirootkit/
If you have main.exe CRASH ERROR on START please do the following things: a) Right click on main.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility -> -> Check on 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' -> select Windows 7 from list -> Check on 'Run this program as an administrator' -> Press Apply. b) Right click on My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced System Settings -> Advanced -> Press on 'Settings' from 'Performance' tab -> -> Data Execution Prevention -> Check on 'Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select:' -> -> Click on 'Add...' -> Select the OldSquadMU Folder -> Select main.exe and press on ADD, repeat procedure for Launcher (PlayInception.exe) also -> -> Press Apply. c) Add the MU folder to Antivirus Exceptions or disable any ANTIVIRUS/Firewall/Anti-Malware that you have running before trying to open the game (Eset,Avira,Windows Defender,AVG,etc.).
If game is not starting after you press START (nothing happens) do the following thing: Go to RUN -> CMD and write 'netstat winsock reset' -> press ENTER and RESTART PC! If it is still not working then RESTART Internet / try to change IP ADDRESS! After every step check if it's working.
It should work 100% if you follow all the steps!

Hey, everyone!
I'm here now writing to give you some news: there's a new alliance on the block.
Considering the current political status of the server - GROM + HonoR being predominantly polish, DACIA + TRACIA being predominantly romanian - we've decided, with some help from our friend @@ADMIN, that we should create a international english speaking alliance, and here it is!
The idea was pretty simple: GROM are dominating the server due to their insane party. DACIA+TRACIA have the numbers. And in most servers it always ends up being: one guild wins CS, other gets strong in a few weeks, wins CS, blabla repeat between two alliances and makes the server fairly boring. We don't want that here!
Yes, winning CS gives you certain advantages. But those aren't really that relevant.
It's fun to play in a server where you have access to LoT. Yeah, of course it is.
But it's better to play in a good environment. And that's exactly what we want to do.
We're going to contest CS - we're most likely losing this week because, let's be realistic, GROM are insanely strong - but in one week they'll hit 10rr, Stage 2 will begin one week later, and we'll have one week to get closed to them, shorting the advantage.
Take an analogy: Guilds are supposed to be like countries, they have their own rules, their cultures, etc. Alliances are supposed to be like federations. They grab difference people with difference cultures and different rules and find a way to make them work. And that's exactly and I and Resh (and BK4EVER from DUELZ) have tried to do, so here are the rules that will be applicable to both guilds:
Rule #1: Don't be a dick.
Both guilds are looking to have reasonable friendly people, so, since this is a rule in both guilds, it's a rule in the alliance. We don't want people to be dicks to anyone, not just people inside alliance or inside guild. We want people to be decent and understanding. There's obviously then no KSing alliance members or PKing alliance members. That's being a dick!
Rule #2: Trading in alliance is allowed but you can't announce sales on alliance chat.
If someone from alliance does /post Selling Bananas, and another member replies, they can negotiate, nothing has to be free. But the seller chooses the price. If he wants cheap, he sells cheap, if he wants normal price, he sells normal price. The buyer just has to accept or reject. Creating drama over market stuff is unnecessary.
Rule #3: There's no absolute alliance-party priority.
Yes, you should try asking if anyone needs/has guild in alliance before you try on /post, alliance must help itself get stronger. But you don't have to kick a party member who doesn't below in the alliance to allow a alliance member, that would be violating rule #1.
If anyone breaks any of those rules, Resh and I ask for a screenshot of evidence to avoid having terrible arguments where everyone gets upset due to lack of evidence. And even though rules are rules, we assume everyone in both guilds is mature enough to talk through the shit that happens so that we can find a way-half-point.
Oh, one last point. (Un)fortunately, even though we're making an alliance and merging some guilds, DEADCATS holds its third rule. We still only accept people in the guild if they're vouched by someone who's in the guild. We've been extremely successful so far in creating a guild where everyone gets along really well and talks to each other without any problems and we want to keep it like that, because we strongly believe that it's not strength that makes a good guild good, but community. And it's not winning that holds a guild together, but community. So, if you want to join the alliance, and, in this case specifically, join DEADCATS, you'll need to check our memberlist and see if you know someone there, or talk to one of our members to ask for feedback inside our chat and we'll decide. I'm (sort of) sorry!

Hello, some of you you might already know me, I died for your sins around 2000 years ago, or perhaps I didn't, who really knows, right?
Well... now I'm back and I made a guild!
We are the DEADCATS.
Now you are probably asking yourself, "So, what's so special about this guild?"
Ask yourself no longer!! I'm here to explain you all about DEADCATS!
We've been playing MU for a while, all of us have had a couple guilds, and we've seen it all:
- Megalomaniac leaders;
- Those dudes who are there only to ask for items;
- The ones who leave you for better parties;
- Assholes;
- People who only want parties.
- Snakessssssssss!
And, we're here to change that!
So, how are we gonna fix all those problems?
Three solutions!
Rule #1: Don't be a dick.
- This one is pretty simple! Just be a nice guy! I'll make a guide about it later!
Rule #2: Everyone is equivalent.
- This means everything in guild is shared! I know this wont be 100% in practice, but it's the thought that counts! No selling expensive items, no selling cheap items, but of course, people will be more likely to give you stuff if you also contribute, so let's hope this practice fuels itself.
Rule #3: You can only get in guild if someone from guild says you're a cool guy.
- Yeah, guys... Rule #3 means we're not really recruiting, even though we are recruiting!
The only way to get into guild is if you know someone in the guild or if someone in the guild says you're a cool guy.
This "vouch" requirement is our way to guarantee everyone in guild is a nice person.
We have no minimum reset requirement, no anything-other requirement. We just need members who are nice guys.
About CS?
We'll eventually worry about that, when we think we can handle that.
For now, we are just worrying about creating a good guild environment!
If everyone in guild is equal, everyone in guild has equal responsibility for whoever they get in guild and for how the guild turns out.
I will not contest any vouches, so I expect everyone to be conscious about who they vouch in the guild.

So as some of you are looking at this you are already Vikings and you come to read the rules.
But some of you dont know the Vikings.... YET...... well let me tell you a bit about us, We are a global guild that only speaks english in Guild chat and also Alliance chat aswell as teamspeak( We will be sharing the Teamspeak with Grom as they are the owners of it and if they so desire to speak polish then you let them )
The rules are strict but we aim to be the best so therefor if you do not agree with them we understand and have fun playing Old Squad Mu not in this guild we wish you well .
Now some of the requirements needed are,
1. Always be active
2. You must attend Castle Seige.. if for whatever reason you can not attend let either Creed or myself know before hand.
3. There is no selling in the guild, if you have an item that you are willing to give away then just say so... if you do not want to give it away then please DO NOT advertise to the guild that you have it.. same rule applies to any alliance.
4. There will be no arguing if you have a issue then please come into the TS and i will sought this out. And if i catch you arguing with our alliance i will give you one warning that is all second time will be expulsion from the guild.
5.Teamspeak is NECESSARY.. you do not have to be in it all the time but it will show us that you care about the progression of the guild.. but teamspeak is necessary for Castle Seige.
6. DO NOT and i mean DO NOT look for gear for your other characters.... this guild is for the characters in it not your alts
7. English only in teamspeak and guild chat please.
8. Please put Sign of lord on your pick up we need as many as we can get.
9. Look out for guild and alliance first if you have a spot in your party for someone ask guild and alliance first.
10. Always love Stripeink he is the best guy in the guild.
11. You are REQUIRED to gain atleast 1rr every 5 days if you do not you will be kicked from the guild... if you have reasons why you can not play then let us know please.
Thank you and dont get us wrong there is alot of rules but we want to have fun and be the best at the game also.
