      Test server for Phoenix is now officially open for public.

      Note: It is shared client with the official server.
      Note2: Characters have been saved from the last test server from Phoenix, you can still test using them.
      While we are aware that most of you that join the Test-Server are doing it for personal benefits (i.e. testing which char to choose, who is better at what, fast leveling routes, etc.) we would be glad if you do also test parts of our info/drops/bosses and so on and if you can't find a problem (that usually happens) we will be glad if you at least bring a constructive feedback of what have you tested around.
      Important note: While we welcome any characters feedback, we'll only take into consideration real feedback/problems with them, supplied with enough details and/or screens/videos. We'll ignore any comments like "X char is shit buff plz", or "Y char is OP nerf plz", or "I play Z plz buff it".
      Important note: While up to 95% of things available on the test server will remain as they are, there may be changes/adjustments/additions on the official server and/or changes/adjustments before content additions (related to them).

      Also, keep in mind that the current Imperial Event, Doppelganger Event & Crywolf Event from Test-Server does not reflect the official version, as they were not "reworked" yet and they will be reworked only before their addition to the official server as part of the Break 2 content.

      You should wait for test-server to see the tweaks before we can talk about characters.
      Originally, DL was able to have 80 members in guild while other chars 40. We've reduced this big gap to match our CS balance. The reason while we still kept a small advantage for the DL-GM is simply CS related. We are only "forcing" people who wants to compete for CS to have a GM-DL, because it is the only GM char able to properly register the crown. Playing at CS without DL-GM means a big disadvantage for the rest of the guild, which we wanted to avoid. More than that, it is on the DL character fantasy to be the "Lord" of the guilds.
      In parallel, whoever doesn't care about CS can still make Guild with 20 people (more than enough for "casuals"), and also having the alliance possibility (+20/25 members).
      I won't say that I am not open to increase the number to 25 for all chars, but in my opinion it does really make sense to keep it as it is, unless you can prove me wrong.

      We are known as a community that promotes high level of competition. While we did hundreds of things to make the life easier for casuals / non-competitive players / non-guild players (you don't wanna imagine how "hard" were for casuals our first editions), we will never be a casual server. Which translates into the exclusive content for the competitive players, where the real fights does take place. If they'd have to fight for things that anyone else can obtain by afk-ing / farming, there would be no point for anyone to try-hard at all. Like it or not, this is what we are promoting, and that's not gonna change.
      Now about few specific points you made:
      - Fenrir parts were farmed on Crywolf, and people complained that it is non-pvp map and people can farm there forever. They were moved to a PvP map.
      - Seeds (especially those that can drop from OB5) are top-level rewards, they can't exist into OB4.
      - Talisman of Luck is simply a W4 item, not having its usual function.
      - Quests are fine, nothing too easy, nothing impossible (+/skipquest). RNG is and will always be an important player in MU online, so it is on the Quests part. You made an example with Nightmare 1 try / day, but it is exactly as we wanted, to prolong the quest, just like the Quiz quest where you can only answer 1 per day. Both are "very easy" to do, but they take time. Just like others are "medium" like hunting goldens (you need to be active and lucky to find them) but they can take way lower time, and so on.
       
      Ehm, at current state you can basically do anything unconventional. But on a fresh server, with 70+ players at CS, you won't stand any chance for that.

      Balance is made via common sense, isn't it? There can't be balance without common sense.
      I'm not quite sure if you are aware of crown mechanics, but any other character except of DL on horse can be moved / stopped from registering the Crown NON-STOP. There is virtually zero chance to register versus a same power / stronger power guild at CS if you play any other character at Crown (basically, you register 1 second then you are moved / stopped and lose -2 seconds from the register time, and so on).
      This is the only point that can be arguable. If you look at it like that, sure, it should be up to the players. But, in reality it is a bit different. If you are a "good" guild, ofc people will prefer to stick with the guild despite knowing they have a BIG disadvantage at CS, they will simply have to make a "compromise" just to stay with their friends, but they would ofc prefer to have a proper GM character for CS, that's the most fun event in the end, knowing that you must sacrifice it just to stick with the friends isn't healthy, while it is possible of course.
      Aiming to be better than the original shouldn't put us in a position where we're getting way away from the original lore, we can do both.
      Being a GM is a commitment, starting from the chosen character up to the guild management. Ofc this shouldn't be a problem for anyone at all, there is at least 1 player from a guild that plays DL and is happy to host the guild on it, for CS, while the management is kept by the "original" GM, and etc.

      The cold season is 'almost' over and spring is knocking on the door. There's something else except of higher temperatures to think at when talking about spring,
      and that's PHOENIX!
      Our Project Phoenix is rising once again, hitting its third edition and bringing some freshness on our community and a new challenge for those seeking of a fun journey in our MU world.
      Phoenix #3 is featuring our Arena Tournament V2, a more compact gameplay, a bit slower paced progression and tweaks across characters & economy.
      Grand Opening: 02 April at 19:00 GMT+3 (Mobs will spawn at 20:00 GMT+3).
      We want to highlight the biggest gameplay change that it has, as always you can consult our official information topic for everything you need to know:
      Instead of 10 optional resets, Phoenix is now offering only 5 optional resets, cutting some of the "boring" resets.
      This means that once the Non-Reset part is completed, you'll enter directly the End-Game Quest part, to unlock the 5 extra resets.
      The reset bonuses were reworked to further reflect our new compact gameplay that is more balanced, less boring and provide more action across your gameplay.
      Extra changes worth mentioning:
      Longer & more balanced breaks. Slower level 1-400 progression. Some of the content released along with breaks as well as content released at a SET time. Increased a little the difficulty of farming excellent items with 2 options. Lower levels of BC & DS have their monsters cut to both have an easier difficulty and in the same time to reduce the EXP boost compared to the number of mobs from spots on lower maps. Gens Raids will now be released along with Mercenary Squad, which means battle maps are safer on first weeks but also only having a 5% EXP boost instead of 12% (until Raids release). Breaks are having rewards for everyone that progressed them based on how many levels they made during the Break. The amount of spots across the game that have +1 mob on the same type of spots is now 50% (from 30-35%). So you'll have 50% standard spots and 50% +1 mob spots. The EXP bonus for 2 people and 3 people in party is now higher than solo EXP, as well as the GOLDEN bonus for party of 4 and 5 is increased. Other tweaks across economy, drops, events & so on. Characters from last Phoenix were pretty balanced in terms of their pros and cons, but we also made notes at the end of the last edition, so here are the main characters changes:
      Berserker max rate for Summoner has been reduced (a small nerf to SUMM PvE & PvP on mid-late game). MG can no longer use Cometfall (direct nerf to EMG PvP & Hunt). Small buff to SM, SUM & BK PvM damage. More than that, Phoenix #3 is also featuring most of the improvements, fixes & features that were worked on Inception in the last 6 months (and there are hundreds), adapted for Phoenix.
      While most of information is updated, there are still things left to be added to the info as well as maybe few changes before the Phoenix actually starts.

      I can't give you a 100% answer related to this, technically it should add only flat damage (as far as I can see), but I always had the feeling of also increasing the % chance a little, though nothing documented that I can tell you about.

        Dynamic Characters Balance tweaks
      This is the last tweak for this edition that does involve council feedback and that is still aiming for the "characters power periods".

      On the last stage (25rr) there will be a full rework of characters made by us from scratch (with 30rr stats), each class vs each class, where the final result will be a 40~60% chance to win with any char, ofc with small differences.

      This will also apply to the "hunt power" of most chars, they will be normalized on 25rr stage to be closer in terms of hunt time, with smaller differences between them.
      This will be done in order to prepare for END-GAME, where everyone should have equal chances to have fun and continue fighting.
      There may be only small tweaks made by us (anytime we would consider) after the 25rr stage, depending on how characters will evolve during the last 5 resets unlocked by quests.
      This are the changes from this patch:
      [UPDATED] Global PvP damage raised with 12%. [UPDATED] Duel damage rate increased from 65% of normal PvP damage to 75% of normal PvP damage. [UPDATED] Gens damage rate increased from 53% of normal PvP damage to 65% of normal PvP damage. [UPDATED] Illusion Temple damage rate increased from 62% of normal PvP damage to 70% of normal PvP damage. [UPDATED] Chaos Castle damage rate increased from 58% of normal PvP damage to 66% of normal PvP damage. Note: The initial PvP damage rates were set for early game & early mid-game, where nobody have W3, ddi, etc. in order to prevent PvP being only one-shots. Now we raise it to a normal value so characters can still die when they fight, even with w3, ddi, etc. DL
      [UPDATED] Fire Burst AoE increased from 4 to 7. [UPDATED] PvM damage increased with 15%. [UPDATED] Speed gained from AGI raised from AGI/35 to AGI/28. Note: Since last nerf of DL he is on a bad spot on PvM due to how his skills work. Now he finally has a good PvM AoE skill to use and a more decent Hunt power. RF
      [UPDATED] Replaced Beast Uppercut weapon skill with Killing Spree weapon skill. [UPDATED] Reduced Killing Spree damage with 20%. [UPDATED] Reduced Chain Drive damage with 5%. Note: We do have a problem with VRF Hunt power, which is way better than it should be. This is mostly caused by using his weapon skills instead of the skill he's designed around (Chain Drive). MG

      So ladies and gentleman, we're releasing one of the most complex, interesting & unique PvP events in the entire MU Community: Arena Tournament V2!
      General Info
      Arena Tournament features 7 different rounds, each round taking place 1 time per week, at 20:30 19:45 Server Time. There are 3 different Event Types: LMS - Last Man Standing, KotH - King of the Hill & LL - Last Laugh. Both LMS & KotH have 3 different Specials, more info above. In order to register to Arena Tournament you must write /joinarena when the event is popping (and before it gets closed). After event is closed, it will start in 1 minute. You can't attack other players before the event does start. Maximum 60 slots (LMS) / 40 slots (KotH) / 34 slots (LL). Duration is 15 minutes for LMS/KotH. No maximum duration for LL. You can't join while being in a party. If you join a party anytime during the event both chars will be disqualified from the tournament and moved out. You can't join the event with antidotes / sd pots. Any consumables buff (bless/soul pots, doppel scrolls, halloween, etc.) are deleted every second during tournament. You get a full clear off existing buffs when you enter the tournament. You can't move items (for example from store) during tournament. You are Muted during tournament. You can't drop items during tournament. You can't move to other maps during tournament. You get PK Stage 2 during tournament (to use only right click to attack, without CTRL). At the end of tournament you get back to your previous pk level / pk kills / pk timer. Info about LMS (Last Man Standing)
      Schedule for Last Man Standing is the following: Monday - LMS Special 1. Wednesday - LMS Special 2. Friday - LMS Special 3. Objective is to kill others while surviving. Every character does have 5 lives when they join. Dying will remove 1 life and will notice you the lives left. When lives are over, you'll be removed from the event & moved out. A character can only remove 2 lives from another character. After that, he no longer can attack that character BUT the other character can attack him (for at least 2 lives). Winners are the last 5 characters that remains alive. If the event time is over and there are more than 5 characters left alive, there will be a TOP5 made by Lives taken and then by lives that you had left. So if 2 characters have the same amount of lives taken at 5th and 6th position, the one with more personal lives left will take the 5th place, and so on. Reward for winning a LMS Event is the access to Sunday's round (where the real rewards are given, for everyone). If you win any of the LMS rounds you can't join other tournaments until Sunday. Specials: Special 1: Free For All, normal fight with characters exactly as they are. Special 2: Free For All, normal fight with ALL CHARACTERS receiving reset stats & points for 20 RESETS - more chances for lower players. Special 3: Class-Only fight, players can only fight with characters with the same class like them, during the Event, with characters exactly as they are. Note: During the Special 3, the limit of 2 lives taken is valid only if there are > 4 players left from the same class. If there are < 5 players left from the same class you can take any amount of lives from characters. Note2: Also on Special 3 there is only 1 winner from each class (last one standing), so total of 7 winners. Info about KotH (King of the Hill)
      Schedule for King of the Hill is the following: Tuesday - KotH Special 3. Thursday - KotH Special 2. Saturday - KotH Special 1. Objective is to farm as many Points as possible. Every character starts with 0 Points. Every time a character dies he will lose 4 points (unless the points are 0 anyway). Killing another character will give you 10 points. The 2nd time you kill the same character you will earn 9 points, 3rd time 8 points, and so on until you'll get only 2 points for killing the same character (and the value will stay at 2 points, no longer decreasing). After 15 minutes, the TOP5 characters with the most points are considered the winners. If there are more people with same points like the 5th player, the winner will be picked randomly. Reward for winning a KotH Event is the access to Sunday's round (where the real rewards are given, for everyone). Specials: Special 1: Free For All, normal fight with characters exactly as they are. Special 2: Free For All, normal fight with ALL CHARACTERS receiving reset stats & points for 20 RESETS - more chances for lower players. Special 3: Class-Only fight, players can only fight with characters with the same class like them, during the Event, with  characters exactly as they are. Note: Also on Special 3 there is only 1 winner from each class (the one with highest points at the end), so total of 7 winners. Info about LL (Last Laugh)
      Last Laugh is the final Tournament, where the prizes from the week are also given. Last Laugh is held on Sunday. Only winners of KotH & LMS from that week can join the Last Laugh. So maximum players on Last Laugh is 34. If you have lower resets than the highest reset player from the LL, you will receive extra stat points to add for the tournament based on the difference of resets between you and highest reset player and also based on your class. The points are added when the Arena is closed, so you have 1 minute to use them. There is no set duration for the LL but there are 3 rounds: Round1: LMS Round During this round you need to eliminate players while surviving. The round is over when there are x amount of players left in the Tournament, as following: If there are more than 30 participants, Round1 is over when there are 20 players left. If there are more than 26 participants, Round1 is over when there are 18 players left. If there are more than 22 participants, Round1 is over when there are 16 players left. If there are more than 18 participants, Round1 is over when there are 14 players left. If there are more than 14 participants, Round1 is over when there are 12 players left. If there are more than 11 participants, Round1 is over when there are 10 players left. If there are more than 8 participants, Round1 is over when there are 8 players left. All LMS rules are applied. Round2: KotH Round During this round you need to farm as many Points as possible in 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, TOP8 characters with most Points will be qualified for last round (3), rest of players will be eliminated. Round3: Last Laugh - Final Round A virtual bracket will be generated for the 8 players left, it will be based on the Points gathered during round 2 as following: TOP1 points will play vs TOP8 points. TOP3 points will play vs TOP6 points. TOP4 points will play vs TOP5 points. TOP2 points will play vs TOP7 points. Then each character will be moved to a different Arena cage where the matches are being played.  In cages you are playing 1v1 with your opponent. Both chars start "chained" and game is starting in 5 seconds. The first character to kill the other for 2 times will advance in the bracket (Best of 3). You do receive a clear of all buffs/effects after a kill and you start from different corners again. SD is not restored during the match. After winning a match you advance in bracket and either wait or face your next opponent from Winner bracket. After winning/losing a game you will be redirected to a new cage. After each finished game, if your SD is not full, you will receive a Complex Potion that you can use in first 5 seconds of the next game, to restore your SD to full. You need to be fast! Players that lose in the Winner bracket are being sent into Loser bracket where they face other losers. Games on Loser bracket are the same as on Winner bracket (Best of 3). If you lose a game on Loser bracket you are eliminated from Tournament, if you win you advance in Loser bracket up until Grand Finals. Grand Finals are BO5 (Best of 5).
      Arena Tournament V2 will be released on Sunday night, and there will be 1 week of BETA period. During BETA there will be no rewards for winning, instead, you will get 2x Jewel of Chaos for each REPORTED, CONFIRMED & FIXABLE BUG you encounter during the week. So try your best to bug the Event!
      Note: We do expect some problems during BETA, so take it with a grain of salt. Also we're waiting any suggestions / feedback related to it as you play & test it.

      All Inception updates will have patch names and they will be posted in this Updates Tracker section.
      The first patch name will be "Patch 3.1.1.0".

      Explication of each digit from patch name:
      - First digit (in our case, 1): Current edition from the server (1 - first edition, 2 - second edition, etc.)
      - Second digit (in our case, 1): Will change if there is any client modifications (that requires update via Launcher) - if it is unchanged compared to last patch, that means no client modifications - no update from launcher needed.
      - Third digit (in our case, 1): If it is changed that means there is a 'bigger' update, with either new features, new impactfull changes, etc.
      - Fourth digit (in our case, 0): If it is changed that means the update is a smaller one, containing only new fixes, improvements, or any changes/corrections of the bigger patch that contain them.
      To make sure you understand, I'll comment the next patch name: Patch 2.4.7.2
      That means the patch is part of the 2nd edition of the server, it had already 3 client modifications that required update via Launcher, it is currently on the 7th bigger update from the edition and it has 2 small updates since the 7th bigger one.

      I will (hopefully) clarify once and for all what my colleague Gion already tried to.
      NOBODY force you to FREELY give your credits to ANYONE from game, doesn't matter what they promise you or not. The moment you agree to give someone something FOR FREE (without using the market as it is intended) you're on your own risk.
      If a random guy does tell you give me x money I'll give you x things and you do that, you're basically begging to be scammed. 
      Thanks to the scammers, they are actually HELPING in changing the buyers mentality from "credits only" to actual game currencies or combinations of game currencies and credits.
      When there are no buyers that want to RISK being scammed then there won't be any more offerts in "CREDITS ONLY", due to no buyers left to take the risks.
      You passed our limit? You deserve to be scammed, end of story.
      And no, there won't be any shitty rule about this, SCAMMING is the way to fix the mentality, not shitty rules that still can be avoidable and won't fix the real issue (any1 that can agree to bypass the rule can simply tell us they moved credits from an account to another or simply gift them to guild mates / friends and move on).
      And no, limit will never be higher than 500 credits, which is high enough anyway, but due to the "inflation" of credits gained from game it does look like a "low" limit.
      My personal advice for buyers and sellers that wants to have a safe economy without scams while keeping the prices the same: use credits for jewels and jewels for credits, simple as that. Let's say you want to sell an item for 1000 credits:
      Calculate the value of jewels in credits, put the price in jewels, sell the jewels for credits, for the same amount.
      If people does learn to use market in this way, there will be only benefits for everyone in the market, including players with low amount of credits and people that don't wanna risk being scammed.

      Hello,
      There's no info about how PvM System actually works on this game so I asked for official information directly to our devs :
      The message with the killer of the Boss/Event is calculated based on the most damage that was done to the Boss/Event (in this case, our killer, he is written on global and also he win the credits for that kill).
      Now, the loot (rewards) of the Boss/Event belongs to the PARTY (attention, not killer) which made the most damage on it.That means if I have a top damager in party who do let's say 10k dmg per sec and he is the only dmg'er from party, but there is another party that have 3x dmgers with 5k dmg per sec, in normal conditions (without PK/PvP and starting from the same moment) the party with 5k dmg per sec will win the loot of the Boss/Event while the top dmger on the Boss will be listed on Global and get the credits(our guy with 10k dmg per sec).
      Now, when there is PK/PvP between parties, when a dmg'er is killed, his damage is still recorded as the most damage on the Event/Boss but because he died, the PARTY damage is recalculated without his damage (so loot is decided when the Boss dies based on the most damage made by a party after it recalculates the members who died).
      I hope that everything is clear now.
