      One of the pioneers, been around in good and bad times as well, because, we have to admit, as everyone experiences, there were ups and downs, but we are always hoping (and not only) for a better future!
      It's a sad post to read, but I personally still hope that since we are trying to create a 'perma' world with Genesis we will still get to see you around, if not for events then perhaps for a lil' chit-chat with the 'squadders xD

      I've had plenty of fun, and I'll probably be back in some years once again. (Mostly to hear Lorencia, Devias, Atlans and Intro musics, which bring me back to my childhood 😄).
      This server has, and always had, really nice people, who I sincerely hope to see in the future once again. And, ofc, some scammers and drama queens which the server would be better off without 😇
      I'm quitting because it is time, I can't play this forever ^^^^
      Buuuuut, if I'm allowed to complain about some things that contributed to me quitting xD  :
      1. Elves suck in PvP (as do other classes - MG), and PvP needs to be improved. DL and SM dominate (BK is cursed due to Fenrir);
         --- It's not at all balanced, as the Admin so loves to claim;
      2. Getting Wing 4 without 2nd opt and having to delete it to make another (without getting anything back), is a massive kick in the stomach.
       
      Hope y'all have fun and keep the server alive. Truly the best one I've tried.
      Although one thing I've noticed this past year I've played, compared to 4 - 7 years ago, is that the Admin doesn't communicate with players anymore. Which kinda sucks.

      Inception - Sprint #3 - will be released on Friday, 13 October 2023 at 19:00 GMT+3 (Mobs will spawn at 20:00 GMT+3).
      The same, classic OldSquad gameplay will be present, featuring a progressive system and stages across the resets.
      Outside of the Stage patches, there won't be any development on the Inception, it will be 100% as it currently is.

      Reminder related to how Inception operates now:
      Since last year, Inception is now running under "Sprints". There are 2 Sprints per year, each Sprint lasting 4 months (120 days). At the end of the 4 months, characters are moved to Genesis. Players can choose to either continue the end-game on Genesis (if they want to experiment sockets, w4, quest system, more pvp, etc.) or join the next Sprint from 0 on Inception. 
      Genesis is our new, permanent main server, and the location where characters will be transferred from the Inception Sprints. A 250~350x resets server focused mostly on end-game content, a server that will remain online without any editions or wipes for as long as OldSquad will remain online.
      All the information about the Transfers can be found on the Official Info Topic for Inception (Gameplay section).
      Schedule for 2023-2024:
      13 October 2023 - Inception Sprint #3 release - ends on 11 February 2024. 11 February 2024 - Transfers start from Inception's Sprint #3 to Genesis. 18 February 2024 - End of the transfers. 15 March 2024 - Inception Sprint #4 release - ends on 13 July 2024. 13 July 2024 - Transfers start from Inception's Sprint #4 to Genesis. 20 July 2024 - End of the transfers. Based on the Sprint #3 and Sprint #4 performances, we will decide if we will continue to host Inception Sprints or not.

      Must Fix / Should Fix / Ideas & Suggestions:
      Some exc items do the same dmg as normal items; Some items on test server have different damages from Inception; There is a painting in Devias store (Izabel) with another server's name; We should be able to find ancient items by their names in Web Market, instead of typing the gear name and checking the ancient box; A must fix is the 3-second DL Chaotic issue; A third vote server could be added, since there are a few more good top lists (ex: www.arena-top100.com/mu-private-servers/); If not many people are voting for the server, increase reward of vote from 2 credits to 5; Some emotes are missing, or with other names, ex: /honor, /kneel, /charge, /clap; Add the Rageful blow to combo again, and don't make it a PvM ability; Make CC by reset. I think it was, at some point, don't know why it was changed back; Chaos Machine: 10 Guardian Angel = Angel (don't remember the name) & 10 Imps = Demon. (Or increase the xp by a lot); Mention everything that's different on this server from the original, on the "all about the server" post, or on a new post; Elf Triple Shot has Visual and Damage freeze bug. Explanation:
      Exc items should always do more dmg than normal items (only AA doesn't, I think); They need to be correct, so that we can successfully and correctly test. Or I may have the idea that an item is better than the other, because it is in test server, and then in real server this item is worse.; This just looks bad; Instead of having to search by Guardian and ticking the ancient box, it would be much better if I could just type "Aruan". This way, Gywen items wouldn't show; II know it's become very hard to fix it. But it should never leave your fix list; More vote servers = more visibility for the server; If more people vote, we rank better and more players come. Also, if the reward is higher, noobs (don't play seriously) that don't donate will be able to have some credits as well; I miss doing some emotes that were available in GMU; Makes no sense to remove Rageful from combo. BKs can also double combo with ice skill. / If BKs become OP because of that, just reduce dmg; It's better 1-5rr player to fight against 5rr smurf (maybe 2/3 players can kill the smurf) than 1-5rr fighting against 15-20rr, not even 100 newbies can kill the higher rr guy; Guardian Angels have essentially no economic value. This would give them some value. Also, it's something to be done with angels and imps, some people have many of them by now. And it just makes sense (it's actually like that on some servers); For example, Alba bow exc +11 in web market had the same damage as normal alba bow +11, but ingame the damages are different; Lorencia is bigger than Elbeland. So if Elbeland has 5 Rabbits, Lorencia should also have, at least, 5 Giants (instead of the current 4); In the "Inception - Official Information" post, the drop for Medusa, Selupan,  is still "TBA". It should already say what the monster drops; I am not sure if I'm just "unlucky" or gold medal drops way more +5 & +6 items than +7/+8. If it indeed has a higher rate for +5/6, then the rate should just be the same for every level of item because, at the time people are dropping gold medal items, there's already many people with exce+dsr or exce+dd that don't need it. So, if the rate is just normalized, the noobs that don't yet have exc, will be able to have a better set to compete with others; Rare items should be tradable because for some classes they are the best set, while for others they aren't, but the rare set is way harder to get than the others. Put maybe a 1 trade limit, or something. But it should be tradable. There are already some socket items, but I don't think anyone has yet found the secret to drop them with 5 sockets and different elements; Something could be done with trash excellent items. Lower Refining Stone is no good, so people just throw excellent items away. They are still rare items, so something could be found to put them to good use; I still catch all medals to sell and still use Rudolf, and my zen is going down. You should either greatly improve Rudolf's zen increment, or increase zen drop (at least in swamp or something). Otherwise, it is almost mandatory to have an alt char farming zen, which at this point in late game makes no sense; -EDIT- Zen drop is crazy low. I just started a new inception season, with only 1 char. With1-3m I go afk some hours in Tarkan, I come back I have almost no money. Makes no sense to be losing money while the game goes. In Aida maybe, but even there doesn't make sense. I've seen some people saying that command DL doesn't work correctly. Not sure if it's true, but I think I also saw GMs on that discussion saying CMD DLs are not meta. Make CMD DLs great again; Basically, when we were all 1/2/3 resets and had mini cape, using capes made us use more HP potions than without capes. Capes should always reduce the damage we take, not make us use more potions. This doesn't make sense; Most of the time we can't see who killed us, due to "anomaly event" messages, or because we were in Karutan 2 and when we die we basically change server so the killer message can't be seen, etc etc. It would be great if we always could see who killed us; Some people worked super hard for their credits without ever donating, and seeing them reduced to 50% is a waste. This can be maybe avoided by buying items with credits and selling them back for credits when they reach Genesis, so it doesn't make much sense in my eyes. Until, at least 1-5K credits, we should not be deduced any when transferring - Additionally, especially after the first transfer, there are loads of people with thousands of credits in Genesis, so why cut in half when transferring from inception?; Having to break / part jewels before adding them to the wallet is a lot of unnecessary work; It would be cool if we could message each other's accounts on the website. It's practical for negotiating, or simply talking without going into the game; It's lame that we got to close the store every time we want to warp. Stores are useful in the beginning of Inception servers, for example. And having to close them and open again, sometimes leads to people forgetting or not opening at all; Admin used to be way more active in the old days. A new staff member could be a nice addition to the server; It's pretty annoying that we can't do our life "normally" for a while, after we reset. The lvl 50 for /post and 100/ for webmarket should be only during reset 0; Same as above; It would be much cooler if we could play on both servers at the same time, with 2 accounts. Should be maximum 2 clients per IP per server, not just per IP; It's pretty stupid that the set can't be traded (which means it is a personal achievement), but other people can throw it in the floor and let you catch it. Many people are building the set like this and doesn't make sense. Either make it tradable, or disable this option; Some people only wear the rare items once the set is complete. Having to carry the set in the inventory until complete is pretty lame. We should be able to keep it in the vault, but not trade it in web market; It's sad that one has to drop rare set parts multiple times to get the best options. The set is already extremely hard to make even if those 3 options come included. Only the 4th option should be random; There are items whose damage is x ~ y on the website, but then in game it's z ~w (such as the Sylph Wind Bow +9, it shows a much lower dmg on the website). This is a must fix, as it is totally misleading; This is purely cosmetic, but it could be fixed; One more month would be nice; People may stop playing the game near the end and regret not being here for the transfer in the future; In case there is no automatic transfer, players should have an option to activate email warnings for this reason; It doesn't make much sense that Inception has 2 of the best sets, but not one of them. Some chars may go to Genesis with the best set, while others must wait to get it in Genesis; I've tried changing some stuff in my computer to no avail. Maybe if I was a tech expert, I would be able to fix it, but I'm not. And like me are many other players that have this problem. If this was simply fixed in the client folder / installation or something, it would be much nicer; Would be cool to make top 200 or 300 or 500 on Genesis. It's a permanent server, so it will have lots of people. And like this we can recall other old players' names that are not on the top 100; Lvling to 250-300 is a very boring part for those many that are lvling up alone (when the servers have low population). We don't see anyone farming the spots, or if we find someone they have re auto off. The game gets boring until we find parties again, thus increases chances of quiting; By allowing 3 accounts per IP, it would "improve the player count" for new/outside players, and it would also fill up the maps more; Add +16 is too low. +28 is funnier/harder and also, would improve the price of jewel of life which is now 1/2 creds; Some people get Wing4 with just one option and they don't want the wings, so others could buy it; Or make some Chaos Maxine mix (easier than creating Wings 4 again) for adding the 2nd option on Wings 4. It's kinda unfair seeing people with the BIS wings and others that still need to trash theirs in order to get the BIS; The quests 3, 6, 9 and 12 of lvling up after 50rr should have another reward other than the possibility for reset. Otherwise people that don't care about the wait time, will just skip them without even trying; This doesn't have much use. But some players want the complete BIS (independently of impacting less than 0.01%), so it would be nice to know if the rings or pends in web market have +5 or +10 stamina; With this consumable, every jewel will always have value. People will always want to make it for CS and so. Maybe 5% crit, 5% edr, 5% double damage and 2% dmg. This way every single jewel will keep value. We could also have a defense consumable (hp, defense, pvp defense rate, etc) for another stuff that gets useless (trash exc items, guardian angels, imps, unirias/dinos, +10/+11/+12 items that were good and valuable in the begining with dsr and so, and others that I'm not thinking right now); Condor Flame costs between 10-20 creds. That's a bit low for an item like that. If the drop rate was reduced a little bit, the price could be more correct; So as to bring more players to start on Genesis, or so that they don't feel hard or bored lvling up alone, a new char could start with full DSR set. IDSR items are not worth anything anymore, so there's no problem people exploiting this; Same reason as above. Poeple could choose to lvl up the normal way, or jump to 30/40 rrs. Or the whole xp from 0-50 could be increased by a lot; There are some things that are different and not mentioned anywhere, and that's pretty stupid. Ex: There's no Auto SD recovery, attack speed is capped at 600, on elves str does more dmg than agi. And many other things; Elf Triple Shot is very useful for enemies that are not yet close to us. It should be working correctly.  
      - H doesn't work anymore, but the message to check H to see event times still keeps appearing in the game.
      - Elves are shit in PvP, maybe they'd be better if they could use ice without needing 4k ene. Since also the missing rate is around 90% in end game (when people have ice resistance).
      - There should be some way to add the second wing 4 option (maybe paying almost the same as building a new wing again, or something). Because no1 will trash their W4 and make a new one, so many people will be permanently disadvantaged due to luck. Some people even quit when they get Wing 4 with only 1 option.
      - 0 to 5 or 10 resets is suuuuper boring. I created a new char and it sucked. I'd have quit if I was a new guy. We see no1 on the spots or maps, and we can only go up to some maps and survive, and they are all empty. Or we can try to find some spot and just party and stay away from the area, to come back and most time being dead. That's boring AS F*CK. Just make resets 0 to 5 easier, otherwise 9/10 newbies will not stay.
      - Grand reset and resets after the 55th don't seem to count for the ranking points. Make them count, it would more clearly show strength of players and guilds especially.
      - Str MG is pretty useless late game. Should be changed.
      - Arena player requirements should be reduced. For example: if only 2 players participate, the reward is a couple of jewels or credits. If more players, the rewards increase up to 10 players inside. As it is, arena is never played, basically.
      - Gaion and doppel could be made easier as well, so that 4 player team can do it. This would not have much impact, wopuld simply allow people not to wait hours or days to be able to find a team for Gaion. The faster guys would not mind also, they'd simply do it faster.
      - OB4 shouldn't drop Condor Flame anymore. It is worth so little, it makes us cry when it drops from the 2nd best OB.
      - After first rr, exp should be faster for the people under 1 rr. 300 to 350 is too boring.
      - If there was a way not to be able to whisper ourselves, it would be cool. Sometimes we are walking, whisper ourselves instead of other people. Or, in this matter, each whisper says who it went to.
      - Assistant Guild Masters should be able to add people to the guild as well, and kick also.
      - There could be a new feature for guild battle masters, something to make it interesting.

      As you can see on the online counter, the idea of Inception sprints and Genesis probably didn’t go as expected. At the minute we have 200 online on Genesis which actually is almost dead and 230 online on new Inception that freshly started 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately, one of two main guilds has left Inception recently, because they couldn’t handle the competition and now there is no competition between players at all. It will probably die very soon as well which in result will force you to carry two dead servers without any competition on any of them. 
      The only way to create a competition now is to encourage new players (or new guild) to join Inception and focus on this project for next couple of weeks. I would suggest organizing some proper speed exp event for new players within 0-5 resets, so that they can make those 5 resets within one week and start competing with the existing players that are already at 5rr. It would also be a good timing for such an event because we are at the 5rr stage now, so the new players could catch up even faster. I think it’s not too late because we are still at early game. Obviously, this kind of event should also be properly advertised to reach as many people as possible. I believe it would also encourage people that are already within OldSquad community and haven’t joined Inception from the start. They might think it’s already too late to join but it actually wouldn’t be, because they will have a chance to catch up with top players very quick (Hardcores I’m talking to you!). Apart from exp boost we can think of any other ideas for new players that will join.
      We had a conversation within ELITE guild thinking about generating a competition on the server and that would probably be the only way. Otherwise, we will have to split the guild creating two smaller groups and compete between each other which does not make any sense. Inception project has always been quite popular with 600-700 online players after first three weeks, now it’s almost dead only because group of noobs have left after first drama. This is disappointing for us, that’s why we came with this suggestion. 
      If anyone have any other ideas, feel free to add it in this topic. I’m aware that Gion/Admin most likely will not do anything in this matter but it’s always worth trying 😁

      Hello,
      Inception Sprint 1 will be over on Saturday, 7th January at 00:00 GMT+2 (Server Time).
      At that moment, Inception will be removed from website and you won't be able to leave Lorencia safe-zone and / or make new trades, etc., but the server will remain online for 7 more days (until 14th January 00:00 GMT+2 - so you can finish the transfer process).
      In order to transfer to Genesis you need to have at least 5 resets when it's over. If you have the requirements, you just have to write /transfer [NewName] [Genesis/Inception] from the Character you are transferring, where [NewName] = the name you want to have on Genesis and [Genesis/Inception] is your credits transfer option (if you choose Genesis, 50% of your Inception credits will be moved to Genesis, if you choose Inception, 10% of your current credits will remain on your Inception account for the next Inception Sprint and none will be transferred to Genesis).
      Example1: /transfer TestBK genesis -> Will transfer your character to Genesis with the new name as "TestBK" as well as 50% of your credits to Genesis.
      Example2: /transfer TestDL inception -> Will transfer your character to Genesis with the new name as "TestDL" and 10% of your current credits will remain on Inception account for the next Sprint.
      Note: Minimum 4 characters, maximum 10 characters for name.
      Note2: Only alphanumeric characters (A-Z,a-z,0-9), no special characters/symbols or so.
      Note3: The new name you choose must not be taken already on Genesis by someone else.
      Note4: The 2nd argument can only be genesis or inception (with any combination of upper/lower letters like GeNeSis, INCEPTION, etc.)
      What is transferred:
      Character's Equipment (with all content) Character's Inventory & Extended Inventory (with all content) Character's Store (with all content) Character's Zen The jewels and zen that you have in Jewel Wallet & Zen Wallet Main Vault (0) content (including the zen) ATTENTION!!!: The Main Vault (0) from Genesis will be REPLACED with the one from Inception, so make sure to have your items moved from Main warehouse (0) to warehouse (1) or (2) on GENESIS before transferring! Character's Master Level will be transferred BUT it will also be reset after transfer. ATTENTION!!!: All of your character skills will be RESET after transfer, if you had any ML! 50% of your Inception's credits (if you choose to transfer them) - else you will retain 10% of your credits from Inception for the next Inception Sprint (and none will be transferred to Genesis). What else is included with your character:
      HoFs Fruit Points Mercenary Squad Stats What is not included in the transfer:
      Secondary warehouses content (1-5) Web Warehouse content Market content Old "stats" of your character (like PvM Rankings, CS stats, etc.) Gens Status & Stats Observations:
      You need to have at least one free slot on Genesis account (same account) in order to transfer - command will let you know. After the transfer is complete, your character & account from Inception will be blocked and the credits/jewel & zen wallets you still have will be set to 0 (the account will be unblocked on the next Inception Sprint). You will be transferred with level 400 and the reset based on the transfer table. You will have 25 stats + the sum of points based on your new reset & genesis points as unused points, that you can freely add. Note: They aren't 100% accurate but once you do your first reset on Genesis they will be 100% accurate. I will remind you once again the transfer table for the resets & level:

      Why can't web market be modified? It has been modified countless times throughout the years.

      I Would rather see a time llmit per character in Icarus.
      So the same people can't farm it from server start till end every time.
      I don't even bother going for the first few weeks because all the nojob players there on their computers 24/7 holding all spots.
       
      I put an alt in icarus 24hours ago, and already the same nojobs's trying to hold all spots have pked me 4 times. It is frustrating, but they are not breaking the current rules, so nothing to be done.
      However, I do see sombraX's point.
      I think it needs to be pointed out that he is saying limiting things to be like BC/DS might stop the people who log 2 chars, go offatack change IP and log 2 more, so on and so forth. They could potentially then log 10 characters and have 1 in each party picking up feather/crests. Repeating this process every 5 hours to keep them online. 
      Compared to as Gaion pointed out, the limit would only half the amount of characters someone with multiple devices could have in icarus, though that still sounds like it would help?

      It is not technically possible, else we'd do that (at least with our files, I know some other devs have such feature).
      If you know the PM personally you can always use /reconnect on this char to move the PM to other character, but that's it.

      Unfortunately there are known issues regarding the Dark Raven, we have always recommended not to go for Command DL. As you could've seen on test server, there are quite some problems with this pet. Until we fix it (but the players know that it was something that we tried in the past too but ending up only messing up the character even more -only on test server-) we still recommend to check everything on test server before actually spending points (and time) on something that won't end up as you expected.

      Ok, so I figured out some of the ancient item formulas.
      In order for an item to be ancient, that specific item has to be part of an ancient set, like you can't have Agnis Gloves since the Agnis set has only helm, armor, pants and a ring. 
      The code for these items is the same, just like for the normal items, with the only difference that you need to add another 5 at the end.
      Example:
      Adamantine Armor code: 7 26 0 0 0 0 0 0
      Agnis Adamantine Armor code: 7 26 0 0 0 0 0 5
      But there are some tricks, the same item can be contained by multiple sets (Like Katana ring of poison and Agnis Ring of poison), in this case you have to increase or decrease that last 5
      Example:
      Kantata's ring of poison code: 13 9 0 0 0 0 0 5
      Agnis ring of poison code: 13 9 0 0 0 0 0 6

      You need to increase ancient option value on [+4] to get +10 stamina.

      While Medusa had her own "army", into Cursed Dragon & Bloody Witch Queen, Selupan thought he's strong enough alone, but the past has proven him wrong.
      Learning from his own mistakes, he has built a new army of himself, and its time has come...
      World Bosses - They're here!
      Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 21:45, the new Selupan's Minions (Dark Giant, Dark Mammoth & Dark Iron Knight) will invade our world. The duration of the invasion is 21 minutes. The 1st time when the invasion is announced, an Anomaly will hit our server. The Anomaly is created by World Bosses. While Anomaly is up, every 15 seconds 2 random players (any player, no matter what he is doing) from sub-server 1 (non-gens) and 1 random player (any player, no matter what he is doing) from sub-server 2 (gens) will be affected by either Cold Aura (10 seconds of Ice that cannot be dispelled) or Disease (5 seconds of Stun). Entire server must team up in a race versus time to defeat all 3 World Bosses before the time runs out in order to clear the Anomaly. If all 3 bosses are defeated before they survive (before the time is up), the Anomaly will end when the invasion also ends, and ENTIRE SERVER gets +30% bonus zen gained (multiplicative) until the next World Bosses Invasion. If any of the world bosses do survive, then the Anomaly will continue to hunt our server for the next 24 hours, and the zen bonus gained is removed. When the World Bosses do spawn, an Old Guard is spawned near every online player from server (with few exceptions like events zone / duel arena, etc.). Apart from asking for your help, they will also offer you a free Teleport to one of the World Bosses zone, if you click them. They can teleport you only to a World Boss from your current sub-server (non-gens maps Guards can teleport you to non-gens bosses and gens maps Guards can teleport you to gens map boss). They stay only 15 seconds near you, then they can be found in safe-zones of Lorencia, Noria, Devias, Elbeland, Aida, Tarkan and in Icarus at warp. During every invasion, each character can use the Teleport for unlimited times on non-gens server (for Dark Mammoth & Dark Iron Knight) and for 2 times on gens server (for Dark Giant), by clicking either the initially spawned guard, or the ones from safe-zones / icarus warp. They can teleport you only to a location where a World Boss is alive, from your sub-server. Guards from Lorencia, Noria, Devias & Elbeland safe-zones will teleport you to a random World Boss location, where the boss is alive, from your sub-server. The guard from Aida will teleport you to Dark Mammoth's location. The guard from Tarkan will teleport you to Dark Giant's location. The guard from Icarus will teleport you to Dark Iron Knight's location. Summon (DL) is disabled in the World Bosses maps during the invasion. If you relog / disconnect in the bosses 16x16 range, you'll be moved on the safe-zone when you reconnect. You can have only 1 Account per IP in the World Bosses 6x6 range / 8x8 range / 10x10 range. If you have 2 then the 2nd one will be moved in Lorencia. How does it work? The first character on your IP that enters the boss range will be considered the valid one, any other characters on IP will be moved. World Bosses
      Dark Giant - Gens Map World Boss. He will spawn in Tarkan2 - 95x 205y. Basics: He has melee range, a medium HP pool, a very high damage, a very high ASR and a very low attack speed. Special mechanic: Guard's Blessings - The gens family with lower number of total people (based on TOP300 Characters with Gens) receive buffs as following: If the lower Gens Family percent is between 41% and 50% (Example: 50-59% Duprian - 50-41% Varnert): No buffs. If the lower Gens Family percent is between 33% and 40% (Example: 60-67% Duprian - 40-33% Varnert): 1. Immunity to damage for 3 seconds every 12 seconds. 2. Permanent Damage Buff with a value equal to an Energy Elf with 400 ENE (at CS). If the lower Gens Family percent is between 25% and 32% (Example: 68-75% Duprian - 32-25% Varnert): 1. Immunity to damage for 4 seconds every 12 seconds. 2. Permanent Damage Buff with a value equal to an Energy Elf with 600 ENE (at CS). If the lower Gens Family percent is between 0% and 24% (Example: 76-100% Duprian - 24-0% Varnert): 1. Immunity to damage for 5 seconds every 12 seconds. 2. Permanent Damage Buff with a value equal to an Energy Elf with 800 ENE (at CS). Note: This buffs are only gained in Tarkan and only while the Dark Giant is alive. Signature mechanic: Doomsday - Dark Giant can only be attacked when there are only players from one Gens Family alive in his 8x8 range, else he is immune to damage. Extra mechanic: Cold Aura - everyone in his 8x8 range is permanently iced (undispellabe). Common mechanic: Selupan's Wrath - Players that enter at least once in 8x8 range of the Dark Giant will be affected by Selupan's Wrath. Affected players can't use items (especially Potions) while the Dark Giant is alive. Affected players can get rid of the debuff only by: dying, relogging, moving to another sub-server or defeating the boss. Note: Selupan's Wrath is inactive when there are players alive from both Gens Famillies in his 8x8 range (during PvP time). Dark Giant has a maximum duration of 16 minutes, after he spawns. Special Reward: While Doomsday is inactive, the Gens Family that is alone in the boss range will earn 1 point per second. At the end of the fight, the winner family is the one with most points & the Special Reward is given to a random player from the winner Family. Note: Special Reward is given only to characters that spent at least 20% of the duration of the Boss in his 8x8 range. Example: If boss dies after 900 seconds (15 minutes), special reward is given only to characters that spent at least 180 seconds in the Boss 8x8 range. Participation Reward: All participants get participation reward, as long as they are online and on Tarkan (anywhere), when the Dark Giant is defeated. Note: Participation reward is given only to characters that spent at least 20% of the duration of the Boss in his 8x8 range. Example: If boss dies after 900 seconds (15 minutes), participation reward is given only to characters that spent at least 180 seconds in the Boss 8x8 range.
        Dark Mammoth - Non-PvP Map World Boss. He will spawn in Aida2 - 50x 120y. While he is alive, Aida is transformed into a FULL NON-PVP MAP (even for Mercenaries / PKers). Basics: He has high range, a very high HP pool, a medium damage, a very high ASR and a medium attack speed. He also has push-back + mini-stun chance on his attacks. Basics: AoE immunity - in the Dark Mammoth's 20x20 range, the full AoE skills are blocked: Evil Spirits, Gigantic Storm, Fire Burst, Lightning Shock, Rageful Blow, Dragon Lore. Special mechanic: Hard to Forget - In order for the Dark Mammoth to be summoned, there's a mini invasion of his own minions - 12 Giant Mammoths are spawned as following: 2 in Lorencia. 2 in Noria. 2 in Elbeland (1-3). 2 in Devias (1-4). 2 in Lost Tower (1-7). 2 in Dungeon (1-3). The Dark Mammoth will be summoned only when all 12 Giant Mammoths are killed. Signature mechanic: Carnage - Every 60 seconds, Dark Mammoth does spawn his minions again (12), in his 10x10 range this time, and he gets immunity to damage until all his minions are killed. Note: If the previous minions aren't killed before the next Carnage, they will automatically despawn and the new ones will be summoned. Note2: Minions have push-back chance on their attacks. Extra mechanic: Enrage - Every 22 seconds he gets a big amount of extra damage for 5 seconds. Common mechanic: Selupan's Wrath - Players that enter at least once in 10x10 range of the Dark Mammoth will be affected by Selupan's Wrath. Affected players can't use items (especially Potions) while the Dark Mammoth is alive. Affected players can get rid of the debuff only by: dying, relogging, moving to another sub-server or defeating the boss. Note: Selupan's Wrath is permanently active. Dark Mammoth has a maximum duration of 20 minutes, starting from the moment his minions do spawn. Note: The duration starts the moment his minions are spawned, so the faster you kill the minions, the faster he is summoned, the more time you have for the actual boss. Special Reward: Delivered to 1 random player from one of the participants that killed at least 1 of the boss minions before he spawned (mini invasion), as long as they are online and in Aida (anywhere), when the Dark Mammoth is defeated. Note: While killing more than 1 minion doesn't directly raise your chances to get the Special Reward, it does indirectly raise them by having less eligible characters for the reward. Note2: Special Reward can be gained only if the selected character spent at least 60% of the duration of the Boss (after he spawned) in his 10x10 range. Example: If boss dies after 900 seconds (15 minutes), special reward is given only to characters that spent at least 540 seconds in the Boss 10x10 range. Participation Reward: All participants get participation reward, as long as they are online and in Aida (anywhere), when the Dark Mammoth is defeated. Note: Participation reward is given only to characters that spent at least 60% of the duration of the Boss (after he spawned) in his 10x10 range.         Dark Iron Knight - PvP Map World Boss. He will spawn in Icarus - 40x 225y. While he is alive, Icarus is transformed into a FULL PVP MAP (free PK, anyone can be attacked). Basics: He has medium range, a high HP pool, a low damage, a high ASR and a high attack speed. He also has a stun chance on his attacks. Special mechanic: Disease - Every 22 seconds, he puts Disease on 2 random players from his 6x6 range. The players that get it will be stunned for 10 seconds. Note: Disease is being placed only on players that are outside of his 3x3 range but still in his 6x6 range (basically, players in melee range can't get it directly). Note2: If there aren't at least 5 eligible range targets at the moment of the Disease, then anyone can get the Disease (including those in melee range). Signature mechanic: Iron Shield - Every 60 seconds, Dark Iron Knight gets Iron Shield, reducing 60% of the damage taken. For every PvP kill during Iron Shield (and in the boss 6x6 range), the Iron Shield reduction is decreased by 6%, up to 0%. If it gets to 0%, then the Iron Shield is purged. Note: While Iron Shield is inactive / purged, PvP is disabled in his 6x6 range (and only in his 6x6 range, rest of map is still FULL PVP). Extra mechanic: Anyone from the 2x2 range of the players that got the Disease (but still in the 6x6 range of the boss) will also get the Disease and will be stunned as well, for 10 seconds. Common mechanic: Selupan's Wrath - Players that enter at least once in 6x6 range of the Dark Iron Knight will be affected by Selupan's Wrath. Affected players can't use items (especially Potions) while the Dark Iron Knight is alive. Affected players can get rid of the debuff only by: dying, relogging, moving to another sub-server or defeating the boss. Note: Selupan's Wrath is inactive while Iron Shield is up and not purged (during PvP time). Dark Iron Knight has a maximum duration of 18 minutes. Special Reward: Delivered to 1 random player from one of the participants that killed at least 3 players in the boss 6x6 range (during Iron Shield), as long as they are online and on Icarus (anywhere) or Devias (anywhere) when the Dark Iron Knight is defeated. Note: While killing more than 3 players doesn't directly raise your chances to get the Special Reward, it may indirectly raise them by maybe having less eligible characters for the reward. Note2: Special Reward can be gained only if the selected character spent at least 50% of the duration of the Boss in his 6x6 range. Example: If boss dies after 900 seconds (15 minutes), special reward is given only to characters that spent at least 540 seconds in the Boss 6x6 range. Participation Reward: All participants get participation reward, as long as they are online and on Icarus (anywhere) or Devias (anywhere), when the Dark Iron Knight is defeated. Note: Participation reward is given only to characters that spent at least 60% of the duration of the Boss in his 6x6 range. Example: If boss dies after 900 seconds (15 minutes), participation reward is given only to characters that spent at least 540 seconds in the Boss 6x6 range.
        Dark Iron Knight (PvP Map) & Dark Mammoth (Non-PvP Map) bosses do also share the Soul Link mechanic: Soul Link: Dark Mammoth's soul is linked to Dark Iron Knight's soul. When Dark Iron Knight dies, Dark Mammoth is getting permanent Iron Shield, absorbing 35% of the damage (that can't be reduced) for the rest of its duration. When Dark Mammoth dies, Dark Iron Knight is getting permanent Enrage, increasing its damage by 150% for the rest of its duration. Rewards
      Special Reward: 25% chance for 20c/20creation. 25% chance for Old Jewel. 25% chance for Old Box 5. Participation Reward: 15kk Zen. 40 Credits. + 50% chance for 5c/5creation. 50% chance for Old Box 4. Artifacts Reward: Dark Mammoth: 1x PvM Artifact as part of the Special Reward 10% chance for 1x PvM Artifact as part of the Participation Reward.       Final notes
      Last 10 days were a real marathon, and after countless of hours I'm here, ready to deliver you a mini-project that I had a lot of fun working on and I really hope you'll enjoy it and every single detail that was carefully thought and put together
      Even if the invasion was intensively tested in terms of mechanics, some bugs may happen, as well as tweaks to the current values, both based on your incoming feedback.
      Keep in mind that the bosses are designed for server level fight, not for parties/guilds. So yea, expect insane values!
      P.S. Special Reward wasn't active on today's invasion (as it was just a surprise-invasion), only the participation reward was, but it will be active starting from Saturday.

[UPDATED] Weekly Imperial rewards reworked: Now instead of 3 places, you will gain a weekly reward based on your points as following: Having 35+ Points = 2 TOCA. Having 25-34 points = 1 TOCA. Having 15-24 points = 15x Jewel of Harmony. Having 5-14 points = 10x Jewel of Harmony. Unlimited rewards, based on personal character score. In order to get your reward you'll have to type /weeklyimperial during a week, for the previous week reward (if you are eligible). Note: This reworked rewards will start after this week, so current week still runs on previous system.
        Dynamic Characters Balance tweaks
      This is the last tweak for this edition that does involve council feedback and that is still aiming for the "characters power periods".

      On the last stage (25rr) there will be a full rework of characters made by us from scratch (with 30rr stats), each class vs each class, where the final result will be a 40~60% chance to win with any char, ofc with small differences.

      This will also apply to the "hunt power" of most chars, they will be normalized on 25rr stage to be closer in terms of hunt time, with smaller differences between them.
      This will be done in order to prepare for END-GAME, where everyone should have equal chances to have fun and continue fighting.
      There may be only small tweaks made by us (anytime we would consider) after the 25rr stage, depending on how characters will evolve during the last 5 resets unlocked by quests.
      This are the changes from this patch:
      [UPDATED] Global PvP damage raised with 12%. [UPDATED] Duel damage rate increased from 65% of normal PvP damage to 75% of normal PvP damage. [UPDATED] Gens damage rate increased from 53% of normal PvP damage to 65% of normal PvP damage. [UPDATED] Illusion Temple damage rate increased from 62% of normal PvP damage to 70% of normal PvP damage. [UPDATED] Chaos Castle damage rate increased from 58% of normal PvP damage to 66% of normal PvP damage. Note: The initial PvP damage rates were set for early game & early mid-game, where nobody have W3, ddi, etc. in order to prevent PvP being only one-shots. Now we raise it to a normal value so characters can still die when they fight, even with w3, ddi, etc. DL
      [UPDATED] Fire Burst AoE increased from 4 to 7. [UPDATED] PvM damage increased with 15%. [UPDATED] Speed gained from AGI raised from AGI/35 to AGI/28. Note: Since last nerf of DL he is on a bad spot on PvM due to how his skills work. Now he finally has a good PvM AoE skill to use and a more decent Hunt power. RF
      [UPDATED] Replaced Beast Uppercut weapon skill with Killing Spree weapon skill. [UPDATED] Reduced Killing Spree damage with 20%. [UPDATED] Reduced Chain Drive damage with 5%. Note: We do have a problem with VRF Hunt power, which is way better than it should be. This is mostly caused by using his weapon skills instead of the skill he's designed around (Chain Drive). MG

      This month we're celebrating 5 YEARS since OldSquad was born!
      5 years of ups and downs, 5 years of hard work & dedication, 5 years of MU at the highest possible level in terms of competition, 5 years of both failures and successes, 5 years of dramas and beautiful stories.
      Damn, looking behind it's been hella' fun journey, a hard one but a fun one.

      So ladies and gentleman, we're releasing one of the most complex, interesting & unique PvP events in the entire MU Community: Arena Tournament V2!
      General Info
      Arena Tournament features 7 different rounds, each round taking place 1 time per week, at 20:30 19:45 Server Time. There are 3 different Event Types: LMS - Last Man Standing, KotH - King of the Hill & LL - Last Laugh. Both LMS & KotH have 3 different Specials, more info above. In order to register to Arena Tournament you must write /joinarena when the event is popping (and before it gets closed). After event is closed, it will start in 1 minute. You can't attack other players before the event does start. Maximum 60 slots (LMS) / 40 slots (KotH) / 34 slots (LL). Duration is 15 minutes for LMS/KotH. No maximum duration for LL. You can't join while being in a party. If you join a party anytime during the event both chars will be disqualified from the tournament and moved out. You can't join the event with antidotes / sd pots. Any consumables buff (bless/soul pots, doppel scrolls, halloween, etc.) are deleted every second during tournament. You get a full clear off existing buffs when you enter the tournament. You can't move items (for example from store) during tournament. You are Muted during tournament. You can't drop items during tournament. You can't move to other maps during tournament. You get PK Stage 2 during tournament (to use only right click to attack, without CTRL). At the end of tournament you get back to your previous pk level / pk kills / pk timer. Info about LMS (Last Man Standing)
      Schedule for Last Man Standing is the following: Monday - LMS Special 1. Wednesday - LMS Special 2. Friday - LMS Special 3. Objective is to kill others while surviving. Every character does have 5 lives when they join. Dying will remove 1 life and will notice you the lives left. When lives are over, you'll be removed from the event & moved out. A character can only remove 2 lives from another character. After that, he no longer can attack that character BUT the other character can attack him (for at least 2 lives). Winners are the last 5 characters that remains alive. If the event time is over and there are more than 5 characters left alive, there will be a TOP5 made by Lives taken and then by lives that you had left. So if 2 characters have the same amount of lives taken at 5th and 6th position, the one with more personal lives left will take the 5th place, and so on. Reward for winning a LMS Event is the access to Sunday's round (where the real rewards are given, for everyone). If you win any of the LMS rounds you can't join other tournaments until Sunday. Specials: Special 1: Free For All, normal fight with characters exactly as they are. Special 2: Free For All, normal fight with ALL CHARACTERS receiving reset stats & points for 20 RESETS - more chances for lower players. Special 3: Class-Only fight, players can only fight with characters with the same class like them, during the Event, with characters exactly as they are. Note: During the Special 3, the limit of 2 lives taken is valid only if there are > 4 players left from the same class. If there are < 5 players left from the same class you can take any amount of lives from characters. Note2: Also on Special 3 there is only 1 winner from each class (last one standing), so total of 7 winners. Info about KotH (King of the Hill)
      Schedule for King of the Hill is the following: Tuesday - KotH Special 3. Thursday - KotH Special 2. Saturday - KotH Special 1. Objective is to farm as many Points as possible. Every character starts with 0 Points. Every time a character dies he will lose 4 points (unless the points are 0 anyway). Killing another character will give you 10 points. The 2nd time you kill the same character you will earn 9 points, 3rd time 8 points, and so on until you'll get only 2 points for killing the same character (and the value will stay at 2 points, no longer decreasing). After 15 minutes, the TOP5 characters with the most points are considered the winners. If there are more people with same points like the 5th player, the winner will be picked randomly. Reward for winning a KotH Event is the access to Sunday's round (where the real rewards are given, for everyone). Specials: Special 1: Free For All, normal fight with characters exactly as they are. Special 2: Free For All, normal fight with ALL CHARACTERS receiving reset stats & points for 20 RESETS - more chances for lower players. Special 3: Class-Only fight, players can only fight with characters with the same class like them, during the Event, with  characters exactly as they are. Note: Also on Special 3 there is only 1 winner from each class (the one with highest points at the end), so total of 7 winners. Info about LL (Last Laugh)
      Last Laugh is the final Tournament, where the prizes from the week are also given. Last Laugh is held on Sunday. Only winners of KotH & LMS from that week can join the Last Laugh. So maximum players on Last Laugh is 34. If you have lower resets than the highest reset player from the LL, you will receive extra stat points to add for the tournament based on the difference of resets between you and highest reset player and also based on your class. The points are added when the Arena is closed, so you have 1 minute to use them. There is no set duration for the LL but there are 3 rounds: Round1: LMS Round During this round you need to eliminate players while surviving. The round is over when there are x amount of players left in the Tournament, as following: If there are more than 30 participants, Round1 is over when there are 20 players left. If there are more than 26 participants, Round1 is over when there are 18 players left. If there are more than 22 participants, Round1 is over when there are 16 players left. If there are more than 18 participants, Round1 is over when there are 14 players left. If there are more than 14 participants, Round1 is over when there are 12 players left. If there are more than 11 participants, Round1 is over when there are 10 players left. If there are more than 8 participants, Round1 is over when there are 8 players left. All LMS rules are applied. Round2: KotH Round During this round you need to farm as many Points as possible in 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, TOP8 characters with most Points will be qualified for last round (3), rest of players will be eliminated. Round3: Last Laugh - Final Round A virtual bracket will be generated for the 8 players left, it will be based on the Points gathered during round 2 as following: TOP1 points will play vs TOP8 points. TOP3 points will play vs TOP6 points. TOP4 points will play vs TOP5 points. TOP2 points will play vs TOP7 points. Then each character will be moved to a different Arena cage where the matches are being played.  In cages you are playing 1v1 with your opponent. Both chars start "chained" and game is starting in 5 seconds. The first character to kill the other for 2 times will advance in the bracket (Best of 3). You do receive a clear of all buffs/effects after a kill and you start from different corners again. SD is not restored during the match. After winning a match you advance in bracket and either wait or face your next opponent from Winner bracket. After winning/losing a game you will be redirected to a new cage. After each finished game, if your SD is not full, you will receive a Complex Potion that you can use in first 5 seconds of the next game, to restore your SD to full. You need to be fast! Players that lose in the Winner bracket are being sent into Loser bracket where they face other losers. Games on Loser bracket are the same as on Winner bracket (Best of 3). If you lose a game on Loser bracket you are eliminated from Tournament, if you win you advance in Loser bracket up until Grand Finals. Grand Finals are BO5 (Best of 5).
      Arena Tournament V2 will be released on Sunday night, and there will be 1 week of BETA period. During BETA there will be no rewards for winning, instead, you will get 2x Jewel of Chaos for each REPORTED, CONFIRMED & FIXABLE BUG you encounter during the week. So try your best to bug the Event!
      Note: We do expect some problems during BETA, so take it with a grain of salt. Also we're waiting any suggestions / feedback related to it as you play & test it.
