      Howdy chaps!
       
      I've had plenty of fun, and I'll probably be back in some years once again. (Mostly to hear Lorencia, Devias, Atlans and Intro musics, which bring me back to my childhood 😄).
      This server has, and always had, really nice people, who I sincerely hope to see in the future once again. And, ofc, some scammers and drama queens which the server would be better off without 😇
      I'm quitting because it is time, I can't play this forever ^^^^
      Buuuuut, if I'm allowed to complain about some things that contributed to me quitting xD  :
      1. Elves suck in PvP (as do other classes - MG), and PvP needs to be improved. DL and SM dominate (BK is cursed due to Fenrir);
         --- It's not at all balanced, as the Admin so loves to claim;
      2. Getting Wing 4 without 2nd opt and having to delete it to make another (without getting anything back), is a massive kick in the stomach.
       
      Hope y'all have fun and keep the server alive. Truly the best one I've tried.
      Although one thing I've noticed this past year I've played, compared to 4 - 7 years ago, is that the Admin doesn't communicate with players anymore. Which kinda sucks.

      As many of us enjoy more the Phoenix progress more than the inception as well had more playerbase and activity imo and from experiênce on playing those DBs, was pretty good.
      I suppose many more will agree whit me to not let one of the best season6 configs out there standing by it self whit constant 30reset DB's and ppl getting tired until it comes a time that , as everything , will end.
       
      I have a suggestion on opening a new DB of 10resets either Im the name of Phoenix, or other one, same configs same stages.
       This 10rr DB could Also be Transferable Into Genesis whit some terms and conditions just like inception , só the progress wouldnt be lost , and the new fresh DB surely bring backs some old players and new Also.
      Its a win-win for both sides, us players and admins for its sucess.
       
      I dont know how to Make a poll on here , but whoever feels the same about having a new 10rr DB , Leave Ur comment or likes or create a poll for whoever knows how to do it .
       
      Hopefully theres some consideration on this ^^

      IMO we are get fucked a bit , beacuse in the inception we can't no do the progress like ppl on the Genesis ok we known it from the since , but how the dog is that working , we are playing 73 day overhere , we are 17 reset  to the genesise they are doubled  well thats 34 , Ppl in the 10 day are 46 =))))))) WHERE they did normaly 23 reset , they jumped our stage , they are doing medusas , they are doing selupan , they got almost sets socket done , how thats work in the Inception ,400 online 20 char in w3 wings ;DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD , When the fussion going to be end , the inception char going be like Subs xDDDDD for those char from genesis , not fair a bit :))))))
      In my opinion Genesis started 30 day too early  , there is too much exp , They are progressing like on the 99999 exp server ,

Give to do the socket for us , open the full gameplay , if u dont u going to destroy the inception , next one will be not 600online there will be 200 , beacuse pointless to play the server where u can only to do w3 and exe set , where ppl are almost done with sockets Weapons ;))))

      -Suggestion for Inception server.
      Hey there and first of all good job making this server.
      After some days playing here i just realized that some players ( alot of them) just using VPN so they can log in with more than 2 accounts.
      Not a problem with this if the admins doesn't to ofc, but the thing is when you go to Icarus you find all spots full and they all are inside with more than 2 accounts, even with 4 taking more than 1 spot. Problem is that the other players who just play normal, has no chance to farm in there, they get even PK if they try to get a spot.
      -My suggestion is, if its possible to make this map, Icarus acces just like DS/Bc, meaning 1account/IP or account/Device.
      -So this way more of the players can farm inside, and the market wont be so Overpriced with Icarus drops.
      Ofc this is just my opinion, i let you guys/girls to decide about this.

      Hello,
      As initially communicated, starting from this autumn OldSquad will have a big restructure.
      Phoenix will no longer exist on OldSquad, at the end of the current edition, its section and hall of fame will be the only things left from it. The core from Phoenix will be moved to our new, separate S17 project that we have started preparing its base ground.
        Genesis - this will be our new, permanent main server. A 150~500x resets server focused mostly on end-game content, a server that will remain online without any editions or wipes for as long as OldSquad will remain online. Easy early-mid game, prolonged end-game, maybe grand resets and other different end-game activities that will be decided later on.
        Inception - major changes to how Inception will be operated. It will no longer be a standalone, long-term server. Since most of you quit before or after reaching end-game, Inception will no longer have an end-game. There will be no more wormhole, sockets, wings level 4 or quest system + extra resets. Inception will have only 25 resets under the same stage-system as before (and all the content up to 25 resets).  Inception will now run under "Sprints". There will be 2 Sprints per year, each Sprint will last 4 months (120 days). At the end of the 4 months, characters will be moved to Genesis. Players can choose to either continue the end-game on Genesis (if they want to experiment sockets, w4, quest system, more pvp, etc.) or join the next Sprint from 0 on Inception.  There will be the option of either moving 50% of remaining credits to Genesis or 10% of remaining credits to the new Sprint, based on where players do choose to continue. We'll also have a new HoF made for Inception Sprints where people with different, set goals will be shown (first CS winners, all CS winners, first w2 mixed, first w3 mixed, first +15 item, etc). The development of S6 will be cut moving forward. We'll continue to offer support and fixes (where needed), but our focus will no longer be on S6. There may be some improvements/quality of life from time to time, but that's it.

      Inception will be exactly as it was last edition, only moving the fixes / quality of life we did before and during Phoenix. Since we're no longer interested in its development, if there will be any good suggestions from players (especially before Inception Sprints release, but also during them) that are highly appreciated by more than few players, and that are related strictly to gameplay aspects (not credits/donations/premium functions) we MAY implement them, no questions/arguments asked from our side.
      Schedule for 2022-2023:
      09 September 2022 - Inception Sprint #1 release - ends on 07 January 2023. 11 November 2022 - Genesis release. 07 January 2023 - Transfers start from Inception's Sprint #1 to Genesis. 13 January 2023 - End of the transfers. 27 January 2023 - Inception Sprint #2 release - ends on 28 May 2023. 28 May 2023 - Transfers start from Inception's Sprint #2 to Genesis. 04 June 2023 - End of the transfers. 04 June 2023 - September 2023 pause. September 2023 - Inception Sprint #3. OldSquad will remain active on this formula for as long as there will be players left interested in this project and the project will remain feasible business-wise. It may be the last year or it may continue for more years, all based on your interest.

      You should all start playing different servers for at least 1 year and then maybe you will finally appreciate our work.    But I admit, it was our fault that we gave you too much from start (great gameplay, great features, great support, great stability, great fairness and seriosity) and you got used to it thinking you deserve it and even more than it, trashing every single detail that wasn't perfect for you. The love and hype I had when I've built this project was blind, I never expected that I was building a toxic community. A community that know to respect and talk nicely only when it is in need of info / support OR when everything is "perfect". A community where people are "sweet-talking" with us in the front side while cursing, insulting and disrespecting us in the back side. A community that even with hundreds of real players and guild-limits can't have more than 2-3 guilds, and even those guilds are disbanding on their first real lose or even on their first win. A community that can't take a lose or accept that others are just better and either insult each other, create dramas, accuse of hack, exploit, luck or simply create excuses. A community that literally begged us for unbans of ips/hwids promising that they've changed just to repeat their shits. A community that had multiple opportunities to bring feedback but it was either totally ignored, used for personal benefits or used as a way to complain without adding any value. I can keep going, but it is enough.   We had the potential (technical & dedication) to have a great, long term place, but we started wrong, we never thought that the playerbase would be our downfall, we were focused too much on the product. Would have expected a different outcome with mature people aging 25-30+, but it wasn't the case. I started this project when I was 20, spent many of important youth years working with pure passion on this project 18/24 and had BLIND hopes of reaching something...unrecheable. That passion quickly went lower and lower as the years passed and the "community" was being built, and I started to realize what environment I am actually working in. The reason Gion was co-opted was exactly because I was sick of handling people anymore, and decided to focus purely on technical aspects if I wanted to continue the project, passing most of the human-interactions to Gion. Yes, I used to be a GREAT guy towards everyone here (because I am the same in real life), and it only backfired to me and I was fooled again and again (same as in real life).   What's left here? A pure business without a soul. Our projects are free to play for everyone, but as WE WANT them to be. Take it or leave it. As long as there will still be some players left and especially enough money to be a feasible business we will still be here. When it will be over, it will be over, no hard feelings, we have nothing more to prove and no time to waste anymore at this age (especially since we limit ourselves to such an old game when we can do way bigger, 2022 things).   What's for sure right now is that this Phoenix was the last non-reset type of server on OldSquad, as it was stated before its launch, as a last-shot on non-reset. In terms of Inception, there will also be radical changes on how it will be operated starting from this year.   We'll slowly build our own S17 behind the scenes, with a fresh community built from 0, this time made it right. Some of you are clearly welcome there, some of you probably not.   Topic is closed now since there won't be any other Phoenix. #WeMadeMUGreatAgain.

      The option of banning AE at CS will only create chaos . Elf's are the ones who can Crowd Control and really be the difference between winning and loosing the Castle siege.You can shape your tactics based on the skill of your elf-player. Otherwise there will be 40-50 players running around the room like madmen without being able to control or create any specific tasks or tactics. Also ,taking ice-arrow away will mean, at least for me as an elf player, that besides buffing people i will be useless.

      As in the title, i would like to suggest removing happy hour from blood castles or make XP higher in all blood castles, to match the one in happy hour.
      Why?
      - it creates drama between party members
      - it 'forces' you to do bc during HH to stay in top
      - it 'forces' all 5 members to be online at those hours, otherwise using teamviewer to add a party member inside doesn't work, because you don't have time to take ur char and the oter one inside
      - it advantages ppl with better PC, because they have better FPS and can click faster to get inside

      My suggestion is CS v3 in 15 players, golems should be win by the best dps, not last hit, because that can be pure luck. GM should not stay anymore on that coordonate for gaining +1 point because he is not usefull at all leading his guild to win. Why? Because he dont see the action. About the handicap I would like to see you giving the chance to that guild that win 4 cs in a row to start 5th Cs again with 1th handicap. Many task for such low members at cs will be fun and I think we can see 4th guild beeing there.

      U have an answer for everything .. even tho the ones who repliying ( old players and experiencied ) is giving you the best feedback and most likely the best small changes .
      Go try to be a GM in this player data base and i want to see you coordinate 30-40players in this new system
      I dont know what else i can say about this subject , dont get me wrong but u make such good changes but in same time some of them small changes are truly not the best and all of them has been pointed out , as i said above it does not need to be played to know what to expect of such small.changes that have bigger impact than the whole reworked system , its not about the statues ( besides of the immunty buff and stuns ) its about the guild numbers, the lack of gameplay wise of players, the ones that dont even read and try, and.forcing again 2 guilds and 1 dominate as always.

      The handicap is increased though now. I can't imagine 2 guilds fightning each other less preditable than 4 or more guilds fighting each other.
      I'm more worried about the numbers, not the statue or the golem.  I would not like to see the server divided in two. We already have gens for that.
      Also, with smaller numbers we need to be more tactical about it. We need to coordinate better who goes to the switches,crown,golem,statue etc. Kills would defently matter less. I can imagine it would be easier for better organised guilds to have a chance at winning.

      u took all the words i had for a long time in my mind about making such changes , wanted to say this for some time but ye .. 

      but beside this , changes are always good but at a certain point , and considering the previous state , as has muerte said about struggle coordinations strategies reading etc , 80% of the players do not play such events correctly and will never do it and this has been proved and seen many many X times and i witnessed it all over and over , even now in inception after all the DB's people just dont know how to play an event no matter how many times u explain it or say what to do in such a simple event.
      im not saying im the best and i know it all , but it is what it is , some players are better than others and have more gameplay wise than others and notice things.

      and muerte said a very simple phrase that its absolutely right " So many changes, so much difficult, people who play this game play because it is easy and many are not capable of playing something more complicated. If we want complicated game, we would play another game." 

      world bosses drops etc that can be changed of course , but in my first post just to not be disrespectfull to your work i tried to give some idea/visions as long termed experienced player , to try to make it less "hard and complicated" for the less gameplay wise players,  the things that u want to apply are very "complicated" and "hard" for the players i mentioned in the phrase above, specially the stun curse that is basicly a BM skill being used every 5 seconds during 30seconds ( that i also completly dislike and should not exist and switched to ice+miss (just a suggstsn)) , and the immunity buff , immunity buff is a BIG no no doesnt matter the circunstance , but is just my opinions . 

      about the max for cs im still very against of having 40 members to join cs per guild/ally , i understand ur wishes of tests etc , but in my view and imagening how a CS will be , if 20-25 dont even follow them in the V2 system ,  there is NO WAY to guide or give calls to 40 players , it will be pure chaos and such disorganization between everyone that trying to say anything or coordinate will be so frustating that the "leader" will just leave things in gods hand and hope for the best just to not get frustated over a game.

      I am open for the idea of a pool before the Phoenix for this limit but there are certain conditions that won't be changed such as:
      - Ally guild will have 100% access at CS, not limited outside CS, that's for sure.
      - Total players at CS to not be lower than 30 per alliance.
      - Total members per guild to not be lower than 25.

      i would like very much to see 120 players as u said , in worst case 80 , but definetly not 40 from 1 guild , if these are the conditions that u putting , in my view i highly suggest then to bring it down to 25 per guild and 30 total for cs ( the ideal would honestly be between 15-20) , just my suggestion , so a pool should be created imo since im most likely not the only one that agree's on this one
       

      if we are getting stuck at same level for 1week + 2-3days max lets say , and multiple times , and as u saying - should be kinda easy to have 120 players at cs ( which i agree) and worst case 80 players . 
      why trowing out 80 players only in 2 guilds when whit this 80 we can make 3 guilds , and better case , 4 guilds whit 120 ? or even 5 and give more value to signs of honor .
      guilds whit less max members for CS have way more organizition and can be well more prepared and planned for it , even tho its not always the case , but its 99% more accurate than trying to do something whit 40
      most of us do not even have the time or patience for such thing , and theres far more players that play this game for fun / no tryhard 
      i would agree having 40 later on in the end game.
      so we dont want to encourage 4 guilds to cs , but we want more ppl to participate on it and not limiting the pleasure that he would not join due to not be strong enough , 
      im gonna give examples here , starting from squadron - we never wanted the "weaker" ones to play , why ? u will play bad or feed points , same whit HC , same whit nosgoth , same whit horde etc , same whit every guild leader will say or think - " hes not good enough , pick other or go whit less 1 " , this is what happens , because X times in rankings there was players whit 30 40 50 60 70 deaths in a space of 1-2 cs's .

      So if i have 40 players to pick and 10 of them are in this category , i will leave them out , its the way the things work , not being arrogant or anything but it is like this even in a sports team ,

      so why stack 40 players in such a changed event to have such chaos , disorganization , dramas , literaly impossible to guide / calling out , having the time and patience to bring up strategies for after instead of enjoying it , we be leaving it out frustated 

      i dont want to spread hate or disvalue ur time that u come up whit this, for the contrary ,  as a "mu addict" like many others here , i appreciate the work and changes, and i do like this system , but for things that u see in ur vision , for us players that are more aware of the gameplay etc , we see it differently

      So many changes, so much difficult, people who play this game play because it is easy and many are not capable of playing something more complicated. If we want complicated game, we would play another game.
      I would agree with the changes, with the diversity, but what is the point? for what are we fighting this CS? the reward for CS owners is not worth the time and effort.
      GM boxes, and what.. dont even need to win and you still can get more than half, no expenses added.
      380 weapons, and what.. now u got world bosses,  drop rate for weapon is higher than on gm boxes.
      for what to even struggle? to coordinate, to make strategies.. people who play this game want to 1vs1 duel  and to win, or will blame the settings and some times for good reasons (in my view cant understand some chars to be op for so long just because stage, its killing the game, example rf 1 hitting any char for like 1.5 months... i guess we need to focus on other aspects of the game)
      Most cant coordinate even in current settings, cant read properly many things.. most just wanna wait end of db and have what to brag next db that they are the best or w/e.
      on to the post,  below should not exist in my point of view.
      If your alliance holds both statues then the following buff will be up for your alliance until you lose at least 1 Statue: GM, Assistant & Battle Masters gain damage immunity, preventing them from being damaged, while the buff is active

      How the suggestion could bring value - It would improve the overall quality of life for most of the players
       
      Hello, after spending a good amount of time in DS, I would suggest making some tweaks on this event. DS 1-3 were perfectly fine, but we started hitting a wall in DS4. The mob density is way bigger(which is not a bad thing, considering it is an event that was designed for better EXP than your regular afk spot and a source of skills) and the monsters hit harder. Currently I feel like you need a very specific party composition to be able to do it(with ERF being a must have), and even with good sets and W2 we can still feel like we're doing a Mythic raid in WoW. The monster kill rate is low, since we have to focus so much on surviving, and the XP might end up being even worse compared to normal spots(unless you have 3 eMG in party ^^). Maybe replacing some monsters with some lower level ones, and boosting up the xp a little bit would make players want to do this event again. Overall, the state that DS is in, just eats jewel of chaos for nothing. Thank you for your time and I wish you have a great day! Stay cool!

      That's why I don't know if to laugh or cry, you refuse to use your brain and prefer to type non-senses as a result of frustrations that you're not on their level.
      Exactly the TOP players are those that donated close to 0, because THEY were the ones playing from start 24/7 and hunting, farming and selling things for credits to avoid donating. 
      The ones that donated are mostly exactly the opposite of the active players, are those that doesn't have the same time / dedication to put into the game but they compensate with money so they can still be competitive among the active players, but they still depend on such active players for their own items.
      And there's the last type of players (most probably like you) that neither can / want to play the same amount of time like the top players and neither wants to support via donations to compensate, and STILL wants to be on the same level like the other 2 types which I'm sorry, it is impossible on ANY game.
      One thing you are right about, this event is exactly for THE BEST PLAYERS, the dedicated PvP event for those that did sacrifices to reach their position, not gained some random freebies.
