As a gift for thanking you all for the fun time passed together i wanted to share with you all some tips

To all my beloved BK's on Genesis (this can apply also to Inception)
The question of 1 million dollars: How do i build BK?
1st step: choose agility
Remember, the more agi you have, the harder it will be for you to combo effectively. BUT if you can manage to do combo with 3 skills only per each combo(i mean dont to 2x times cyclone or 2x twisting ect) you can try up agility.
Agility is also important becouse of pvp rate (no reason to go 1k agi for big combo dmg, if you miss 9/10 combo)
2nd step: Choose your Total HP
You need to decide (based also on your gear, set exc or set seed) how much total HP (not vitality) you want to have. You can go lower hp if you go high agi (since def helps take less damage).
Me personally i would reccoment between 70k- to 100k total HP (100k+ only with seed set!!)
3rd step: You put 9200 energy.
9200 is max swell when you have full ml on it, which is MOST important ml together, after stun!!
4th step: You put vitality untill you reach your previously decided total HP!
Rest points you add all to str ofc !
5th step: BALANCING ENERGY
This is what helps a bk have both tankyness and dmg!
Now you have 9200 energy. The process is very simple:
1) You remove 600 energy (for example 1 fruit reset ene, or after rr you put 11600 energy)
2) You compensate the lost hp by adding vitality (untill you reach the SAME total hp as before)
3) you add remaining points to str
4) you compare combo damage before and after (if combo dmg is higher, you keep repeating step 1,2,3,4 and so on) .
OFC last step is most crucial part. You must compare damage on same target! (aka no changing rings, set buffs ect)
Regarding Agility: (Applies to all classes)
Pay close attention to cyclone animations! attack speed has big spyke shifts! (for example, if you have 300 speed , invented number, instead of 305, you dont change animation and loose ton of dmg! )
Attack speed is not linear!! it has speed "bumps" aka after X attack speed you change animation!
Speed points from items (exc weapon option, pendant, seeds, ESPECIALLY ww ring!!, pumpkins! have more value then it shows!
For example, when i bought a pend edr speed i managed to remove around 400 points from agility and had same animation as before!!
Basic Combo Guide:
You have 3 diffrent basic patterns:
1) Cyclone - Twisting slash - Death stab
2) Cyclone - Twisting slash - Destruction (only when enemy low and needs 1 combo to kill)
3) Cyclone - Death stab - Twisting slash

There are many small factors that differentiate an average BK to a good BK.
Hidden cooldown on combo
1) Cyclone - Twisting Slash - Death Stab is the basic combo most commonly used. What many BK's fail to notice is that it has a hidden cooldown on Death Stab !!
Lets say you use the 1,2,3 buttons to combo. If you spam 1,2,3 - 1,2,3 most of the time , even if you press corectly you would not do second combo.
There are 2 solutions in order to have more control on combo and avoid this problem.
1) Every time you finish a combo you let go of Right Click on mouse, and press it again after pressin 1 (Cyclone) on your keyboard. Thus starting second combo.
2) If you cant deal with releasing right click every time you combo, you can set as number 4 the CS skill for BK. (Thus doing 1,2,3,4 each combo, this way you will not attack for a spit second since CS skill is disabled on normal server!)
Personally i got used to releasing right click every time and pressing it again to start new combo. It eventually will give you more control while you combo, avoiding the "spamming" state.
Correcting Combo!! Very important
Learning to correct combo and is what gives an edge to a good bk vs a "macro" bk.
We all know about hit stuns and ref stuns. Its a pain in the ass especially for BK.
The question is, when do i start combo over again and when do i close combo?
1st scenario.
You get ref/hit stunned after cyclone - You start over combo. (By the time you do cyclone and deathstab, most of the time you wont close combo in time! especially if you get hit stunned again)
2n scenario:
You get ref/hit stunned after twisting slash: You dont start combo over again, you just do Death Stab to close combo and start next one!
Starting combo again will just make you loose the time that you made cyclone + twisting.
Basic double combo
Pattern 3 (cyclone - stab - twist) + pattern 1(cyclone + twist + stab). No need to release right click after 1st combo but need to release it after second.
Advanced double/triple/quad... ect combo:
The pattern itsefl on paper is simple :
Cyclone - Destruction - Twisting + repeat + repeat + Cyclone - Twisting slash - Death Stab + release right click.
Execution is less
This combo uses the animation cancel mechanic for BK.
It starts from around 8000-9000 agility to be relatively easy. (depends also on your items). You will notice when doing 1 cyclone + destruction that you actually do 2x destruction skill (1 without animation and another with the classic animation stuck from destruction)
While you are doing cyclone, towards the end, if you have already clicked Destruction, it will activate the first Destruction before locking you into the second.
The "trick" is to use only the first one for combo, by holding Destruction just the time you are towards the end of the cyclone animation and switch to twisting slash before casting the one that will lock you in destruction animation.
It is a really small windows to avoid getting stuck in destruction! but (as some of you might have sufferred it :D) is very deadly when paired with the second combo or even 2-3 consecutive destruction combo.
OF COURSE you can do 2x,3x ice combo before doing death stab combo without releasing right click !! (my personal record, and i remember i recorded it, was 3,7 combo per second at 1k speed )
The animation cancel mechanic doesnt apply only to destruction but also to twisting slash!
Not as punishing as destruction one, but with the penalty of having to let go of right click every time you finish combo, as stated above. Still is faster combo if mastered than traditional basic ones.

Usefull to build MG - SM - ELF - SUMM - DL
I discovered this method when i made that disgusting and unbalanced Fenrir BK dps build (some of you might remember)
1) decide your desired HP. (Based on your gear, socket set = more hp, DDI set can go lower hp more def since it has more damage decrease)
2) just maximize your dps formula withe the points left (Damage per hit x hits per second = DPS)
How to know how many hits per second you are doing at a specific speed point?
Easy:
1) open excel
2) write how much mana the skill consumes
3) write your max mana
4) start a screen record software and start attacking untill mana regen kicks in (its 5 seconds)
5) watch your recording and note on excel what was your lowest mana left before recovery kicked in.
6) max mana - lowest mana left = mana consumed
7) mana consumed / how much the skill consumes = how many skills were casted in 5 seconds.
Just note how much is your critical hit and multiply. That's your DPS.
Thats how you mathematically maximize your DPS based on a "Budget" of points you have left after you decided your HP.
If you have similar results for low agi and higher agi, go for the higher agility since it will give you also PVP def and attack rate.
You can further write down a complete formula and mathematically maximize it, but its enough to just check the hits per second to choose the best agility since:

For DL's
Horse skill animation cancel:
Since Horse skill has 9% stun with ML, i would like to give this small cherry for DL's also.
To avoid getting stuck into the horse animation to push someone away, there is an animation cancel for it.
I works consistently, from around 13k agi and more (less with the right fingers :D)
1) You must be attacking with fire scream
2) Horse skill
3) any other skill (if you successfully push someone, best option is to go for stun with Fire Burst. if you stun just kill :D)
This way you can keep attacking while pushing or even stunning someone with DL
I hope this tips are usefull to ya all. BK's remember, practice makes best, dont rely on dumb ass macro
