    Hi Everyone,

    A comment/question regarding the new old weapons. The 25% chance of success is hilarious, given the cost, but that's not my main point:

    If an old staff/stick now grant +10% wizardry damage, then it is indeed a huge boost.

    But if a physical dmg weapon like sword, bow, claw, etc. get 20-30% base damage boost, it feels like almost no difference.

    Has this been tested in terms of final damage output? 'Cause for me it looks like wizardry gets a significant boost, and physical dmg is just a minor, really unnoticeable increase.

    Or am I understanding it wrong?

    25% chance is absurd...some will get lucky and have 2-3 weapons day1, others will fail 20 times, just like for fenrir, and with high investment as well...

     I don't want to create another topic, so i will put my ideas here.
    MG i think will be better to decrease his dmg with 20% and increase his debuff with 20%,(current dps will be same) maybe this will help him to be useful in team fights vs tanks. 

    Queen set on sum, need to repair or change applied lvl (200) on arena and IT. in this events she lose 20-30% defense.  its cause lvl, this set start to work only after 383-385 lvl

    I do care, I want the classes to be balanced, not necessarily my class to be the best :) And it seems like this patch generally gives the edge to wizardry, while leaving phys damage a bit behind.

    I totally agree with you. 
    The cost of mix seems high for the percentage of success(token) and the benefit of the damage gain from the physical damage weapons doesn't seem that much.
    Another thing i would like to add is that huge percent of the elf's on this server play with crossbow(because of it's benefits),can we get an Old Crossbow too?

    I posted this in guild discord as well, but here it is:

    sm staff increase 10% is applied to base dmg. take the following scenario:
      10k edr base dmg (no staff)
      24.5k edr (with inberial 145% wiz)
      25.5k edr (with the new staff 155% wiz)

    So the diff between 24.5k and 25.5k that is 4.08% overall increase, not as much as you'd expect...


    Now we'll have to see how much of a difference the melee weapons make...BB or other similar high-level weapons add more melee damage than listed in game, so the 20-30% increase is bigger than it looks on paper, it might actually bring it closer to that 4% of SM dmg gain...I guess they factored this in when they did tests (if they did tests for this).

     

    The 25% chance to succeed is still bad :D

    @ADMIN we understand the nerf 4% to the dmg , we understand the nerf of 25% pvm , all good . But why touch the defense and hp ? Bring it back to the era of no one playing rf? It`s no problem i change class, but you ruin a class. 

     

    Especially these new old weapons , wizz classes get a boost, pshysical classes get almost nothing

    25% chance for a random token is smth crazy for the cost. Ok is for a final weapon and we have 380/soket to use, but 25% and random..Also coz u need 2 same weapon soket for at least try. Ok the powerful thing of +10 wiz (dunno for 30% of dmg ph) but if one make this weap, it will be really hard to fight him.

    Good for pvm and pvp with points and mercenary, but 25 is really too low.. if 40% and casual token it's a little more fair. Fenrir is  difficult for low drop of items, only in k6, and then 25%, but old weap is really crazy. Maybe We need some new kind of chance for get 380+soket weapon.

    Yeah I thought about that too, getting like 60 add dmg on Dark Stinger is totally not worth giving up the xBow...
