      Hello,
      The Stage 2 is close to its end, so the new patch is incoming.
      We'll take this opportunity to also make a full maintenance on our systems.
      We expect it to happen at around 17:00 tomorrow (Saturday), it will take 5-30 minutes and, while reconnect can work, it is not guaranteed so make sure to be online (or leave the characters in /offattack).
      We have both good and bad news.
      The good news is that the incoming patch is pretty big, covering both stage content and new content/features that will add another layer of gameplay and economy to our server.
      The bad news is that we are working on many things simultaneously and couldn't finish all of them yet, so the patch will be split in 2 parts, first part will be released tomorrow with stage content, fixes and updates while the 2nd part will be released in few days, along with new features/gameplay changes. Also the mercenary rework didn't started yet but it will come as well hopefully in 7-10 days.
      The 10rr exp will be unlocked before the actual patch from tomorrow (exactly when stage is over).
      Expect to see nice things in the next period.

      The seventh episode of Castle Siege was written last Sunday by the strongest guilds on Inception, a controversial episode in which some important moves were made in the game of the kings of Inception. I will start by telling you how the battle for the Crown unfolded: 
      As in previous editions, Rampage prepared the defense, seemed proud and confident on them, although they had some missing players, they managed to bring about 20 warriors to the battlefield, the fight started, and they seemed to use the same tactic as in the previous weeks, the Dark Lords were defending the buttons, they had a few warriors trying to kill everything in their path and the smaller ones in the guild were trying to move their enemies with all they could: weapon skills, lightning spells etc... they were a united team that tried their hardest to stop the enemy, as long as possible, and to prevent Voyager from registering the seal.
      On the other side, we have the Squadron, they planned all week the attack strategy this time, with any price they will take the Castle. They attacked from the first minutes and after they managed to register, they implemented the strategy, the ones from ATTACK passed for their part, like PlayBoys, these two guilds only made anti-game throughout the fight in favor of Squadron sabotaging RAMPAGE.
      Rampages resisted only the first hour, then, being overwhelmed numerically, they began to give way, but they won the sympathy, because they fought to the end even when it was clear that there was no hope of becoming winners again.
      Instead, the Squadron can rejoice that they finally managed to put the crown on Voyager's head, but they cannot be very proud of this success because their ambition combined with incompetence from the past forced them to resort to tricks that are not exactly admirable... many people do not understand why they resorted to dirty things especially since in the past they were several times about to conquer the castle with their own forces in an honest fight. Now they are crowned with glory but also with shame. In the past, these things were considered illegal by Admin and were punished. Inception is the first server on OldSquad where anything is allowed at Castle Siege, and probably from now on we will not have any part of clean fights because the unwritten rules have been violated, and Rampage will probably use methods similar to those of the Squadron, because I don't see how any guild could win the Castle fighting against 3 guilds.
      What happened can not be reversed, but I do not understand how Rampage were so proud and confident (we can even say blind) because they did not see this coming, if no one would have suspected the ATTACK anti-game, I even mentioned in the previous article that there were rumors on the server
      that Sc0pt created PlayBoys guild just to make Squadrons' dirty games.
      As a result of this Castle Siege, the Curse continued to break pieces from Rampage, a guild that is being hit more and more as if it wanted to break it into millions of rams. If before this Castle Siege, those in Rampage managed to bring back mafy, they lost  RuSuLeTzZz, who was the voice of the guild and who seems to have quit this game. K4spAr0vPL and Pershing left the guild probably because internal fights and after Castle Siege, Snook, TheKing and Alex probably also left cause of internal fights. I did not see recruits and it seems that this great guild is heading towards the end of the battle giving way in front of the Squadron, but also of the Curse.
      On the other side, those in the Squadron recovered Devex and as for Sc0pt and the others who appeared out of the guild it is clear now that no one left guild, they only went out to do Squadrons dirty things, so they are stronger than ever, it is rumored that the Squadron plots now against ZaZaX and the ATTACK guild, because they promised them access to Lord Mix and after they won the Castle they would not honor their dealings.
      Will Rampage guild win the fight with the Curse ? Will they recover and win the Castle again? Will they fight honestly from now on? What other surprises will the Squadron prepare next Sunday? Squadron heroes are pleased with the result of this victory, but are they proud of the way that they have achieved it ? Do they not wonder if they could win without selling their soul? Can't betrayal turn against them?
      The answers to these questions are hidden among the secrets that the future holds for us and we will surely find them out once time reveals them one by one.

      Notes:
      All VIPs (that had it active since at least 4 days ago) got an 8 hour extension on their VIP period - for the downtime(s). Also, this weekend EXP bonus duration is increased from 1.5 hours on each bonus to 3.5 hours on each bonus - total of 8 extra hours of doubled exp! Changelog:
      [UPDATED] Now Lock system (with /lock command) will lock the account instead of character! That means you can easily use it now without the need of creating 5 non-deletable characters in account. Note: All current character locks have been deleted. [UPDATED] Now characters can be deleted up to 1 reset instead of up to level 10 and 0 resets, to match the new Lock system changes. [FIXED] Invasion Normalizer not working in Raklion. [UPDATED] Rare items are now released and can drop from OB1 and OB2. [UPDATED] Gens rewards have been given for last month, go to NPC to get them, you have 7 days to pick them up. Note: We didn't made a reset to Gens yet as we're going to rework the system before next gens season. The rework will come (hopefully) with the Stage Patch, and only after that gens ranks will be reset. Your points made until then won't count. [FIXED] Bob (race manager) going crazy when the hour does change - like it happened last time. [FIXED] Now if you disconnect/relog after being registered at race you will be back skinned, chained and registered. Note: This happens only before race start, if you relog/disconnect after race already started, you can't join back. [UPDATED] Now instead of drop from Monsters, Box of Ancients can be given at the end of DS to all participants with 25% chance (DS6) and 35% chance (DS7). [FIXED] Calendar showing events with +1 hour since last night. Update via Launcher! + Other small fixes/adjustments/improvements. Mercenary Squad:
      [FIXED] Mercenary Seal sometimes not being deleted in Battle Maps. [DOCUMENTED] [FIXED] Merc IP Check on register counting the unregistered chars from IP as well. [DOCUMENTED] [FIXED] Any Merc being considered target for "Repel" instead of only the real quest target. [ADDED] Second Chance feature at PvP Quest. Now if you start a quest and you fail to finish it (by running out of time) you will be able to try again in 6 hours (instead of 12). If your Target does Repel you it won't trigger the second chance, you'll still have 12 hours to wait. This can help in cases that you get a very strong target that you can't kill or don't want to kill, with a smaller punishment. [ADDED] Target name being showed each minute during quest time. Info:
      We're working on a bigger patch, that will hopefully be released along with the next Stage Patch, can't promise that everything will be ready until then but we're working hard, it will be worth.

      One of the important things that will come is a V2 version of Mercenary Squad.
      It will contain a lot of improvements and reworks of the current Mercenary Squad.

      There will be a challenge feature for 1v1 between target and merc, progressive rewards, points & rewards system reworked, reset intervals for quests, a points system based on target and hunter difference in resets, and other things.

      That means there will also be a full Mercenary reset when the V2 will come out, to be a fair new race for the top, as the current race wasn't that fair due to the amount of bugs/abusive things it had in order to gain extra points (that were mostly fixed).

      We strongly believe that if we succeed to make everything that we want for V2, it will be much more fun, balanced, fair and less-abusable than current V1 iteration.

      There is no AoE stun as there are only single-target skills available for all classes. You can STUN only one character at a time, then wait cooldown for next STUN.

      Coming up with new info, presenting the classes attributes at soccer:
      RF:  PRO: 8 Seconds STUN. PRO: Very powerful shots on Ball. CONS: 2 Range on Soccer Skill (Chain Drive). CONS: Can't get Ball out of bad zones. SM/EMG:  PRO: 6 Range on Soccer Skill (Lightning). CONS: 5 seconds STUN. BK/SMG: PRO: 8 seconds STUN. CONS: 3 Range on Soccer Skill (Cyclone). CONS: Can lose control of the Ball, being moved back. DL:  PRO: 6 seconds STUN. CONS: 4 Range on Soccer Skill (Force). AE: PRO: 6 Range on Soccer Skill (Penetration). PRO: Can use left-click attack with 6 range that can STUN as well. PRO: Blind Curse doesn't reduce AE's power (she can use left-click if skill is blocked). CONS: 4 seconds STUN. SUM: PRO: 5 Range on Soccer Skill (Drain Life). PRO: 15s cooldown on STUN instead of 20. CONS: 5 seconds STUN.
      Other mentions:
      You can't use items at Soccer (looking at you, Antidote!). Pets (Fenrir/Dark Horse/Raven/Uniria/Dino) are not allowed at Soccer (you get Stun until you put them in Inventory).

[UPDATED] Now you won't be able to start a PvP Quest during BC/DS/CC/Arena Tournament/Crywolf Event/Castle Siege.  [FIXED] MGs 'hiding' inside Kundun coords using weapon skill, being untargetable. Note: If MGs gets on Kundun coords they will be moved 5 coordonates back. If zone is invalid, they will be moved at x=35 y=60.

      We won't choose, we just need at least 2 teams testing the system and bringing feedback/reports, any number of teams will be able to test the system anytime after it is done and up on test-server.
      While the league will have its own games, the soccer system can be used anytime after release, by any guilds that want to have fun or train for the League.

      Not sure how many of you like fun activities in this game, except of exp and AFK/Hunt, but for those that like to have fun from time to time, we've come with a HOT new system!
      OldSquad Soccer System - Our new UNIQUE Soccer System.
      Why we're calling it UNIQUE? Because it is totally different compared to a normal System.
      Before telling you details about this new system we have 2 things to announce:
      We'll need 2 teams that want to "showcase" this System on Test-Server, to make sure it works perfectly before releasing it. When everything will be 100%, we'll release our OldSquad Soccer League, which is a 2 weeks championship, more details after presenting the Soccer System. Soccer System:
      Just like in the normal Soccer, there will be 2 teams fighting in the Soccer Stadium, located in Arena. Each team must have its own dedicated Guild to participate at the Soccer. A team can consist of 1 up to 5 players. Gameplay: All soccer participants will be granted with 100% absorb of damage. That means, you won't be able to kill any of the opponents (so, anyone is free to join, no matter level/resets). In order to win, you'll have to be the first team to reach 5 goals (100 points). HOT: Instead of damaging opponents, each player will have a "STUN" effect, added on the first attack every 20 seconds. Basically, you will be able to STUN opponents, one at a time, with a 20 seconds cooldown between stuns. The first touch of the opponent (skill/left click) when cooldown is available will cause the STUN effect. Each character can use only ONE skill at soccer, and there are different STUN durations: Lightning: SM, EMG Penetration: AE Force Skill: DL Weapon Skill: BK, SMG Chain Drive: RF Drain Life: SUM Stun Duration: Range: 4 seconds (SM,AE,SUM,EMG) Medium Range: 5 seconds (DL) Melee: 6 seconds (BK,SMG,RF) HOT: Every 15 seconds, 1 random player from each team will be BUFFED or CURSED. The effect will be the same for both teams (if one is BUFFED the other is BUFFED as well, with the same effect). There is a 33% chance for BUFF and 66% chance for CURSE. Duration of buffs/curses is 10 seconds. Buffs:  Quickness Effect - It will boost movespeed. Mana Shield Effect - Immune to stuns from players. Curses:  Ice Effect - Will decrease movespeed. Order of Restraint Effect - Will chain the character, making it unable to move. Blind Effect - Will block the character soccer skill. Note: System can be adjusted based on your feedback.
      OldSquad Soccer League:
      After the Soccer System will reach its final version, we'll start the registration for OldSquad Soccer League.
      You will need a team of 3 characters (must be different classes). You can also have 1-2 backup persons (again, different classes). There will be a total of 8 teams allowed (first 8 registered + the next 3 as "back-up" in case first 8 don't participate). One Season will last for 2 weeks, with 2 rounds (1 round each week). During each week, each team must play versus the rest of the teams (7 games per team). The date/hour will be set at a common agreement between teams captains. When a date is confirmed by both, staff must be noticed, if one of the teams won't be there at that hour, the other one wins automatically. One win = 1 point. One lose = 0 points. At the end of the 2 weeks, the first 3 teams with most points will win some nice rewards. The last 2 teams from Season will be eliminated from League, and won't be able to join the next Season. 2 new slots will be open for 2 new teams on each Season, + x extra slots based on teams that don't want to continue.

      Just roll for jewels, buffs, bigger stacks of potions, demon, imp, angel, event ticket entries, reset fruits etc 
      Maybe add as top tier with very low chance Talisman of Luck and Talisman of Chaos Assembly.

      As I suggested before.
      It's much safer to go with consumable items than items that you can trade or sell.
      People would still see value in gambling even if the prizes are jewels(bless, soul, chaos, life), stack potions and buffs.
      The market will balance itself when you spend ridiculous amount of zen for these kind of stuff.
      In a sense, you are still farming to get jewels because of time spend in getting all those zen.
       
      Leave the excellent-mid/top tier items to players who really spends time in going to events.
      "The goal here is for the zen to have a value. Not to help players to make the game easy."

      I am happy that i chose this server.. i am from Romania.. and i see a lot of romanians in this server.. thats a good thing for me since i thought the mu community from Romania is dead..

      Lets start from the builds, there are 4 most known builds :
      1)Vitality BK
      2)Agility BK
      3)Strength-Damage BK
      4)Sweller BK
      Lets say we have around 2000 points (excluding the str  and agi points needed for equipping gear)
       
      1) Vitality BK
           Stats: Strength=====>>>> 500 points
                      Agility======>>>>> Meet the requirements
                      Vit=========>>>>  1300 points
                      Energy=====>>>>> 200 points
       
      That's a build for those who want to feel like a tank. The positives are that you will have high hp combined with the Swell life skill.
      The negative is that your damage will not be that great, although with elf buffs you will be doing good in cs, bc ds etc
      2) Agility BK
          Stats: Strength=====>>>>Meet the requirements
                     Agility=======>>>>1600 points
                     Vit==========>>>> 200 points
                     Energy=======>>>> 200 points
      That's a build for those who want to have better attack speed, evasion , defense and a bit of damage. This kind of BK is great for hitting fast and stay long in duels.
      The negative is that your damage will not be that high
      3) Strength-Damage BK
          Stats: Strength=====>>>>1000 points
                     Agility=======>>>>600 points
                     Vit==========>>>> 200 points 
                     Energy=======>>>> 200 points
      That's a build for those who want to be competitive in duels, castle siege , taking over spots etc. This type has great damage and a also some defense that is making him a good damage dealer. The negative part is that your life will not be high so you can be easily killed also.
      4) Sweller BK
          Stats:Strength=====>>>>Meet the requirements
                    Agility=======>>>>Meet the requirements
                    Vit==========>>>> 500 points
                    Energy=======>>>> 1500 points
      That's a build for those who want to be have a more supportive role as a BK. The energy + vit  points make the Swell life buff to give a really good amount of health. Its really useful on castle siege mostly for the party members. The negative part is that you cant be in the frontline , because your attack and defense is low, but you can stay at the back and supporting by giving more health to your mates.
       
      Lets continue about the sets u can use:
      1) First option and the best one to level quicker is to have Vicious set(Helm, Armor, Pants and ring) + Hyon set (Boots, Gloves and hyon lighting sword)
      This way you will have 2 sets combined...Your damage will go really high and you will get some defense and life
      2)Second option is to make any set that has dd ref/dd hp/ or ref/hp option(excellent sets like red dragon , black dragon ,great dragon , dark phoenix etc.)
      This way your defense will be better and its more suitable for PVP
      Recommended weapons are:
      1)AA Sword that drops from box of kundun
      2)Exc bone blade with options like exc dmg, increase damage +2% ,increase damaga +level/20
      3)Flameberge or/and Sword Breaker with 5 sockets(you need to fill the sockets tho ) 
      Recommended rings and pendant:
      1)The best pendant you can have is with exc dmg,increase damage 2% and autohp recovery 3%
      2)About rings you can choose between DD REF/ DD HP /HP REF +autohp rec 3% according to you preference
      Recommended spells to use:
      1) Swell life which is a self buff giving you health increase
      2) Twisting slash to killing monsters, which is the most used skill from BKs
      Recommended items to do even more damage:
      1)Imp which increases attack power and wizardry by 30% 
      2)Demon which increases attack speed and increases damage by 40%
      3)Wings as much + as possible, best +15
      4)Weapon as much +as possible, best +15
      5)Excellent damage, increase damage 2% and increase damage +level/20 on weapon as options

      Lets start from the stat builds.. For me there are 2 mostly known builds:

      2) Hybridic SM

      That's a build for those who want to have really high damage as Energy dictates the amount of damage u inflict.
      The negative part of this build is that your defense will be really low, so its more preferred for PVE(player versus monsters) and 
      not PVP as you will be most likely one-shotted 
       
       
      2) Hybridic 
      Stats: Strength=====>>>>Meet the requirements
                 Agility=======>>>>800
                 Vit==========>>>> 200
                 Energy=======>>>> 1000
       
      That's a build for those who want to have a good balance between a fast-casting SM and at the same time keep descent damage.
      Don't expect tho  to make a one hit kill.
         
      Lets continue about the sets u can use:
      1)First option and the best one to level quicker is to  have Anubis set(Anubis helm ,armor, gloves  and ring) + heras  Sphinx set(Pants, boots  and shield)
      This way you will have 2 sets combined...Your damage will go really high and you will get some defense and life
      2)Second option is to make any set that has dd ref/dd hp/ or ref/hp option(excellent sets like legendary ,dark soul grand soul  etc.)
      This way your defense will be better and its more suitable for PVP
      Recommended weapons are:
      1)AA staff that drops s from Box of kundun +the heras shield if u chose 1st option or a legendary shield if you use the 2nd option
      2)Inberial staff with 5 sockets(You need to fill the sockets tho )
      Recommended rings and pendant:
      1)The best pendant you can have is with exc dmg,increase damage 2% and autohp recovery 3%
      2)About rings you can choose between DD REF/ DD HP /HP REF +autohp rec 3% according to you preference
      Recommended spells to use:
      1) You need expansion of Wizardry (self-buff)
      2) You need Mana shield (self-buff)
      3) Evil spirits if the mobs are way to spread , best example is  at devil square
      4) Ice storm, which is a really strong spell
      Recommended items to do even more damage:
      1)Imp which increases attack power and wizardry by 30% 
      2)Demon which increases attack speed and increases damage by 40%
      3)Wings as much + as possible, best +15
      4)Weapon as much +as possible, best +15
