Best reference for all the Elf players out there

Great news anyway!
Will do some extend testing form home later where I have 2 pcs to see how this thing interacts with multiple IPs from the single same local netowrk also.  

I've found a solution, and on my own tests, it does work
I'll probably release it live later on today, but would like you guys to test it out as well on test server.
Basically, the solution I've found is to have the limit on connections to 3 on server-side (client side still 2) - so you can d.c your off-attacks - but make a manual check of accounts connected on IP after you enter the character. So, if you have 2 accounts online on the IP when you enter the 3rd character, it will close the game on your 3rd character (in 90% of cases, it will close the game on the last entered character, but in case of server disconnects/maintenances the order will be random until you enter manually the first 2 again).
It's not that beautiful as I would hope to, but at least it's something to fix the problem.

I forgot to mention one more pro for this - elf wings demand will actually be balanced now. All previous servers were kind of ridiculous - supply and demand for elf wings was crazy because everyone had buffer and agility elfs suffered a lot, there were not enough wings and price was really high. But with this change it will be fixed.

Hello,
Based on this topic https://oldsquad.ro/forum/topic/3311-futureee/ we decided to bring it up to the vote as it's an important concept that can change everything we know about MU (into a better thing, in my opinion).
So, please bring your votes (asap) and any other observations so we can prepare the concept for Inception (if you want it).
The idea is simple, do you want EE's to be out of "must-have-secondary-char" line?
The first option is no, keep it as it was - nothing will change related to EE's.
But, the second option is to remove the EE build as we know it and to integrate it into a Hybrid-AE build.
That means, EE buffs will be useless on normal server (1), so you won't need EE's in order to level up or compete to PvP Events.
For that, entire content will be adjusted (mobs, bosses, etc.) for such change, having lower dmg/def/hp as they used to, especially on low resets maps.
More than that, the limit of accounts per IP+HWID will also be reduced to 2 instead of 3 (to match the new no-ee-need change).
The second part of the idea is to implement the EE into a Hybrid-AE build. So, giving new options to AE players for their builds (instead of blindly going for full agi & vit). 
What that means?
Buffs will be decent on server 20 (mainly CS) - so guilds should encourage Hybrid-AE's so they can push their chance at CS, at the cost of lower solo-impact on gameplay. 
More than that, Ice Arrow would be part of Hybrid Build, so only by having 5000-8000 energy you would unblock & use Ice Arrow - so not only getting EE buffs for CS as Hybrid-AE but also unlocking your strongest CC spell for other kind of support on both Server 1 and CS.
Poll will close on 1st of September at 23:59.
The winner option must have at least 70%+ votes in order to be applied.
 
 

We've been there, done that.
There are 2 major problems for setting up a limit:
- You set it to 2 acc per IP+HWID (while EE is a must) and you have a lot of problems with people that play from shared IP's (real examples: students on dorms) as for example 2 people same IP, 1 must make his own char + the EE and the other has no space to play.
- You set it to 2 acc per HWID (while EE is a must), you'll fix the other problem but new problems appear as it's easier to bypass the limit for people with multiple devices but same IP, giving them an advantage.

So the best option (from almost 4 years experience) is 3 ACC per IP+HWID (of course, in our current context where EE is a must).

You asked for my opinion, I'll tell you mine.
I've thought about this subject long time ago, but never imagined that people would really want such thing.
So, what was my idea about this subject:
- Make EE buffs useless on normal Server (1) so nobody would have to make EE for leveling up (and balancing the content for no ee-buffs parties).
- Let the EE still be a choice, but just for dedicated EE's or simply AE's as hybrid builds for CS (that means buffs will be decent on Server 20 - mainly CS).
- Bring down the limit of accounts per IP+HWID to 2 from 3 to match the No-EE needs.
Of course, this are just my thoughts, but if people really like such idea I can make an official poll for it (but we need to hurry up as all mobs must be reworked for such thing).

We have the news about Inception as we promised!
The release date of Inception will be on Friday, 13 September at 19:00 Server Time (GMT+2) - mobs will spawn at 20:00.
We're still working hard on it but we hope to give you the Public Test Server access with at least few days before opening, where you can test what you want for Inception. The Public Test Server will remain opened during the Inception life-time so you can always test anything you want there.

We want to also highlight some of the important changes/features that Inception will bring:
New Mother-Kid system, where Inception will be the mother server and Max50RR will be a seasonal (100 days) kid server with limited content (no sockets/wings level 4 available) from where transfers will be made to Inception at the end of each season. OFF-Attack is now available for everyone (5 hours, no auto-pick) while VIP's will boost it: Hunter - +5 hours, no autopick. Dealer - Autopick. Professional - +7 hours, with autopick. Box of Kunduns drops are reworked to give new chances for lower players/casual players to farm their items: BoK+1: 68% chance for BoK+1 item, 24% chance for BoK+2 item, 8% chance for BoK+3 item. BoK+2: 68% chance for BoK+2 item, 24% chance for BoK+3 item, 8% chance for BoK+4 item. BoK+3: 68% chance for BoK+3 item, 24% chance for BoK+4 item, 8% chance for BoK+5 item. BoK+4: 76% chance for BoK+4 item, 24% chance for BoK+5 item. BoK+5: 100% chance for BoK+5 item. Obs: The items dropped on lower BoK's are only Set Items (no weapons). Anti-Alt farm feature added: Now you can't use Helper in low maps (until Tarkan). You will be able to use a built-in clicker that is working based on Helper settings (using /attack command). In the rest of maps (mid and high) you can't use the /attack command but you can use Helper. Due to that, all drops from maps until Tarkan are highly boosted for active farm (jewels, spells, etc.) Maps limits for all classes: In order to keep the balance between RF, MG & DL vs rest of classes and to also keep the maps as they were intended (without lower level move from website) we added level-checks: Now DL, RF, MG can stay in low maps with -10 levels than rest, and on rest of maps with -20 levels than rest. Also, in order to progress on maps by feet (from kanturu1 -> kanturu2 or atlans1 -> atlans2) you'll have to have the map level (available for all classes). Maps are revamped: Now the 3 different types of maps are spread to make sure we have 1 type from each on any kind of map (low,mid,high,v high). Now Non-PvP maps no longer have exp penalty (from 15%) while drop penalty remains the same (25%). Now gens-maps will give you +10% exp compared to rest of maps but mercenary squad boost won't work on gens maps (but quests & points will still work). Now on normal maps you'll have Mercenary Squad that will boost your exp (+6%/+14%/+24%) and bypass non-pvp maps, etc. The new map system is made because of Mercenary Squad, instead of punishing less-active players we'll just reward more-active players, without affecting the overall gameplay for everyone. Balgass reward is now 2x Old Box 4 and 3x PoH, but can be picked by any Balgass contributors, neutral drop, not only by killer-party. Killer will still receive the credits. The same rule is also applied for Illusion of Kundun from now. Energy Elf buff-nerfs to make them less 'must-have' and more 'an extra advantage'. Exc items drop from mobs on low and mid maps is raised (so people have things to invest jewels in, on early-game), but they can only drop with 1 option but with 80% chance for luck. RF, DL, MG will go on same BC/DS/CC like rest of chars based on the same levels. Other changes:
Now Rare items will drop with 4 options instead of 3. The chance to drop them is also lower. Now Senior Mix will give 2x Guild Master Boxes instead of 1. Each Guild Master Box will drop specific 380 exc item with 3-4 options. Now Bloody Queen will drop 2x Last exc. item tier items instead of 1. Royal Rumble, Death King invasions and /blockexp features are removed. Full HP Recovery option from Wings (level 3 & 4) is removed. Some Old Boxes drops reworked. This are just a part of things that we're working on, there are more things updated/changed/reworked, but you'll find them either on the info topics or directly in game. Don't hesitate to read entire info to have a great start on Inception!

Almost 10 months has passed since NonReset started its 2nd edition. Due to the many things changed on our economy system (to balance it for everyone, not only top players), NonReset was a victim of economy tweaks, that ended in it being pretty easy compared to how it was intended, so it wasn't the "hard server" that was promised and that was seen on its first edition. But, thanks to the feedback and its fail, Phoenix was born, and it was much better than both current and first edition of NonReset. All mistakes that were noticed by both you and us on NonReset were fixed/adjusted on Phoenix and together we created a better alternative for it, despite the sacrifices. So we can't be sad about it, we continue to learn from mistakes and "what works - what doesn't" and improve our overall servers to such standards, because nothing that is stale is fun and we must always adapt to your needs.
Due to the low amount of people left active in the last 2 months (barely touching 25 online) we decided to end its suffering and to bring it down, as there is no point in keeping it up in the current state for more than it was granted.
Due to that, NonReset will be officially closed on this Tuesday, between 20:00 and 00:00.
Thanks to everyone that took part in this project and especially to those that kept playing it on the long run!
 
As for its future, we have both good news and bad news.
The bad news is that NonReset will no longer be one of our main servers, Phoenix is just a better NonReset and we will continue with Phoenix. So it was the last NonReset edition on OldSquad.
The good news is that NonReset won't be gone completely. Since 2 months ago we are in a pre-alpha phase of Season 14. Things are moving slowly because we have different priorities for now. But in future we plan to release our own Season 14 project (different from season 6) where NonReset will be moved as a standalone server there. The player-base of season 6 is getting lower and lower as more people start to taste the new seasons and remain there. Due to that we are forced to adapt to new things in order to keep being relevant on the MU Online scene. Our Season 6 project(s) will continue as normal until there are no more players to sustain them, which hopefully won't happen too soon, as we invested a lot of time and love in our projects.

Phoenix - for topic related to Phoenix server.
Inception - for topic related to Inception server.
Max50RR - for topic related to Max50RR server.
Global - for topic related to general (no specific server).
There are also special tags for the following sections:
Market Place - you can choose the tag from Buy, Sell, Buy & Sell, Trade - based on topic info.
Player Reports / Warns - you can choose the tag from Bad Language, Racism, Hack/Exploit, Selling for Money, Bug Abuse, Insistent Non-English Posts - based on the subject of your player report.
Guilds - you can choose the tag from Recruiting, Looking for Guild - based on the subject of your topic.
All the tags are mandatory and we recommend to also set the prefix, not only the tag.
Also, the following changes are made to the Legends group:
- The Legends award that is won on OSGM will only last as long as the edition of the server where it was won lasts. That means old Legends from OSGM have been dropped back to Members.
- The first players to reach max resets from each class on each server will be granted with permanent Legends award. (updated with Phoenix Legends).
- Each server edition (during edition or at the end) we'll choose 1-4 new Legends based on their contributions and performance on the edition. That can include but not limited to: Server activity, bug reports, helping newbies, good suggestions, etc. (updated).
- People that didn't visited our forum for more than 1 year will also be removed from Legends. (updated).
We're trying to make the forum more attractive and we're looking for your suggestions to compress / make it more clean and attractive. If you have any thoughts let us know (organisation, features, etc.)

As we discussed in game with Gion, some small things (cosmetical mostly) could be changed. Also people could write down their Ideas and vote for them. So we are here now suggesting silly things:
1)Race Manager could be renamed to Bob. I like BoB and we are a big family in MU lets be less formal, Race Manger sounds distant
2)Golden Budge Dragon  skins could be changed to other creatures. I know for sure they have different attributes, not sure tho about their distance travel and animation while moving. So i would like to suggest, instead of everyone to be plain golden, you could re-paint the models, for example 1 green, 1 blue, 1pink, 1 golden, 1 red/orange, 1 white/silver and so on.

I am walking through Valley of Loren, I am near bridge and the silence is harsh. It is that silence that makes you quake, gives you creeps, and makes you tremble, I don't even know why, is it, maybe, the thought that everything was lost? Everything seems lost in the void of big dreams and high hopes, the sun is setting, but shadows and whispers are rising with the coming of the night ... Everything is cold, so cold ...but when I pass through the first gate of the walls that surround the castle, a flash of memory makes me stop. I remember!! Ohh, I remember the last fight! A fight that made these gates quake, I remember that NONE attacked last time on Phoenix and PRiME defended, what a fight! I start to head to the castle and when I reach the last gate, another thought flashes through my mind: it was a fight in which the titans of the server measured their strength for the last time. 
  "NONE, weakened by the Curse, prepared a final fight, gathered all the warriors remaining alive, tightened the lines and attacked. They wanted to prove that they can win, they wanted to prove to everyone that they still have the prescription of the antidote by which they defeated the curse and all the guilds that wanted to seize the riches of the Land of Trial. They had hopes. This time, PRIME guild no longer had any help from anyone, so it's time to crush them as they did to us in the past -NONE thought- but they hit a wall, a solid wall that didn't break at all, this time, not even a scratch was made in the defense of PRiME. NONE warriors did not give up, they continued the assaults to the end without giving one second back, they attacked even when they knew they were overwhelmed by enemies and had no chance, until the last man standing! They are fighting the Curse."
 I headed towards the castle, I passed the last gate and another flash strikes me: my mouth is dry so I sat down and tried to drink water from the secret spring that hides behind the ruined statue. From the first sip I felt the taste of blood. The blood of so many brave warriors. Another flashback comes into my mind, but it is so cold that I don't know for sure if it was a dream or that really happened, an illusion or a flash of memory? I stood up and I got inside the castle. Now everything is clear : 
 "WhiteRaven was planning the defense. Well, no...  he was not alone, he was consulting with his officers and together they arranged the defense teams and the defensive lines of the last fight. Those warriors seemed still embarrassed by the accusations made by NONE after last siege, the ambition could been read in everyone's eyes, but no one knows what happened.... Were they betrayed and left without the support they had in past? Did they gave up of it because of the accusations? No one seems to care anymore, the only goal is to defend the castle with any cost! Just them! The first NONE assault came, they managed to keep their temper and repel it, followed another attack and another and another .... until time ran out and the winners came out. What a victory! A victory that brought silence to the NONE members. "
  I feel dizzy, looks like I was lost in the dream world too much time, I need heat, food and water, everything is poisoned here, blood flows on the rivers of Valley of Loren and I go to Land of Trials, the gate is open, I got in and I found some "young" gentlemen who are fighting on the few spots. One of them told me that BDSM is holding now the castle and left Land of Trials opened for all. He also says that all the springs here are full of venom, after that he handed me a teleportation scroll and returns to his seek for ancient items. 
  I used the scroll that teleported me to Lorencia, I went straight to the bar, then I have enjoyed some Ale and some apples. After that I discovered a new world and my hope was kindled again!! Phoenix is alive ! A lot of people around, some of them are still  buying, the others are selling, all builds sets and items, even guilds, nothing is lost !! I found out from the pretty lady at the bar called Lumen that the Curse has also buried PRIME guild, she confirms that BDSM have conquered the castle without too much effort and that now there are new Phoenix warriors who want to provoke this guild that seems to have been reborn.
