      Our next project will start somewhere at the beginning of September.
      OldSquad - Inception - The 3rd edition of the old Max30RR server.
      Inception is the server where everything started in our community, and we're working on a bigger revamp of it, bringing new systems and features for you to enjoy.
      A fixed date for the start will be announced at the end of August, along with full info about the server.
      So, make sure to be free at the beginning of September to start a new journey in our world!

      I am walking through Valley of Loren, I am near bridge and the silence is harsh. It is that silence that makes you quake, gives you creeps, and makes you tremble, I don't even know why, is it, maybe, the thought that everything was lost? Everything seems lost in the void of big dreams and high hopes, the sun is setting, but shadows and whispers are rising with the coming of the night ... Everything is cold, so cold ...but when I pass through the first gate of the walls that surround the castle, a flash of memory makes me stop. I remember!! Ohh, I remember the last fight! A fight that made these gates quake, I remember that NONE attacked last time on Phoenix and PRiME defended, what a fight! I start to head to the castle and when I reach the last gate, another thought flashes through my mind: it was a fight in which the titans of the server measured their strength for the last time. 
        "NONE, weakened by the Curse, prepared a final fight, gathered all the warriors remaining alive, tightened the lines and attacked. They wanted to prove that they can win, they wanted to prove to everyone that they still have the prescription of the antidote by which they defeated the curse and all the guilds that wanted to seize the riches of the Land of Trial. They had hopes. This time, PRIME guild no longer had any help from anyone, so it's time to crush them as they did to us in the past -NONE thought- but they hit a wall, a solid wall that didn't break at all, this time, not even a scratch was made in the defense of PRiME. NONE warriors did not give up, they continued the assaults to the end without giving one second back, they attacked even when they knew they were overwhelmed by enemies and had no chance, until the last man standing! They are fighting the Curse."
       I headed towards the castle, I passed the last gate and another flash strikes me: my mouth is dry so I sat down and tried to drink water from the secret spring that hides behind the ruined statue. From the first sip I felt the taste of blood. The blood of so many brave warriors. Another flashback comes into my mind, but it is so cold that I don't know for sure if it was a dream or that really happened, an illusion or a flash of memory? I stood up and I got inside the castle. Now everything is clear : 
       "WhiteRaven was planning the defense. Well, no...  he was not alone, he was consulting with his officers and together they arranged the defense teams and the defensive lines of the last fight. Those warriors seemed still embarrassed by the accusations made by NONE after last siege, the ambition could been read in everyone's eyes, but no one knows what happened.... Were they betrayed and left without the support they had in past? Did they gave up of it because of the accusations? No one seems to care anymore, the only goal is to defend the castle with any cost! Just them! The first NONE assault came, they managed to keep their temper and repel it, followed another attack and another and another .... until time ran out and the winners came out. What a victory! A victory that brought silence to the NONE members. "
        I feel dizzy, looks like I was lost in the dream world too much time, I need heat, food and water, everything is poisoned here, blood flows on the rivers of Valley of Loren and I go to Land of Trials, the gate is open, I got in and I found some "young" gentlemen who are fighting on the few spots. One of them told me that BDSM is holding now the castle and left Land of Trials opened for all. He also says that all the springs here are full of venom, after that he handed me a teleportation scroll and returns to his seek for ancient items. 
        I used the scroll that teleported me to Lorencia, I went straight to the bar, then I have enjoyed some Ale and some apples. After that I discovered a new world and my hope was kindled again!! Phoenix is alive ! A lot of people around, some of them are still  buying, the others are selling, all builds sets and items, even guilds, nothing is lost !! I found out from the pretty lady at the bar called Lumen that the Curse has also buried PRIME guild, she confirms that BDSM have conquered the castle without too much effort and that now there are new Phoenix warriors who want to provoke this guild that seems to have been reborn.

      Hello! 
        Illusion temple is the second most important event on our server, so I have created this tutorial to help the newcomers with some "must know" things about this event.
       First step to do, if you want to participate in this Event, is to obtain an invitation, which is named Scroll of Blood. In order to obtain it, you need, firstly, the materials to craft this invite at Noria Goblin. The names of materials are "Illusion Sorcerer's Covenant" and "Old Scroll", so you will just have to set up in helper "Covenant" or "Old", and you will pick up the materials. If you need a specific level of Illusion Temple Invitation (or ticket) , type into the helper box "Covenant +" level (example: Covenant +6) same for Old Scroll 6 (Old +6)

       After you get those materials, you will need to go in Noria at the Chaos Goblin and craft the invite :


       
        Next step is to go in Elbeland and register to NPC Mirage , on Phoenix you can participate one time/day/character, registration starts at 09:20 or 21:20 Server time, and it ends at 09:30 or 21:30. Take min 200 hp potions and minimum 40 Antidotes, also some Jack O'Lantern food and Mirror defense buffs (will help a lot, as IT is a player versus player Event). 

         After you get inside this Event, you will have to wait for the countdown time and the event will start, but only if there are minimum 4 players inside.
       
        When the time passes away, all participants will be split in 2 teams, totally random, and then the fun begins: each team has to take the ball from the statue which appears random on top or on the bottom of battle map. First player who finds the statue must click it and wait several seconds until it will break, and a ball will appear inside his inventory. This ball will slow down your movement speed, but with the help of the team yoy must carry it into the team base (base is located where the team spawn at event start). When you reach it, you must click on the statue located in front of team base and then wait several seconds to score. If this succeeds, your team will gain 1 point.

        Tips and tricks :  When you kill an enemy player or a monster, you will receive some points like you can see in the picture bellow, when you have enough points you can activate some  strong skills  that can give you some advantages. To activate press shift + right click.

      While the broken coords can happen for sure, there is also another reason which will be fixed, where only first 15 ppl are saved for the same coords on reconnect/relog/death.

      1. We're considering the option to change from ML to normal and vice-versa at the cost of halving the points instead of resetting them to 0.
      2. What you're speaking about can work only on a system that has over 500-600 registered players all the time, so the pool is big enough, else you'll never find such target with low number of people registered. In future if there will be more people on the system there will be some stages and other improvements, but for now it can't work.
      3. It's possible that you had only 2 slot space in inventory and it was requiring 3 slots for the reward (small bug, will be fixed). There aren't any messages if you have the space or not, but it's my only guess that can happen if you finish quest without reward.
      Rewards in future will be adjusted at any stage of the game, for sure, but when the system will be 100%.
      We thought about removing support chars from event, but we'll instead make more stages (it was planned from start anyway), where you start with smaller exp (for all chars) and progress through kills and other type of quests. For now we'll let as it is to have enough chars in system so we can test and fix things having higher sample.
      About the guild/ally, on the next improvements it will first search outside of guild/ally players, if it won't find anything it will assign from guild/ally.

      What we're working on:
      - Reassign another target if the current target is on the same gens family and it is on a gens map.
      - Skip EE punishment if EE is mercenary.
      - Try to reassign another target if current are in safe-zones.
      - Show current target when writing /pvpquest while a quest is up.
      - We're considering a "repel" feature where the targets can earn 30 points if they kill the mercenary that comes for them before being killed by them.

      This interview is about Aqvila, the guild master of NONE . I have interviewed him because he created the most powerful guild on Phoenix and because he is a top DarkLord on our server.

      Aqvila : " Thank you, but 90% of the merit is to our members." 
      Reporter: " Can you tell us the story of this guild?  "
      Aqvila  : " It all started on Non-Reset server, when me and CowsGoMu wanted to exp together, for a long while we were very few but our policy of recruiting people for their character, not lvl or items paid off and most of our members from non rr are still here now. On Phoenix we were one of the first guilds , we took a slow start but after a month our core was so strong we started to compete for top bosses and CS, and we still gold the Castle." 
      Reporter: " So, you and CowsGoMu are the founders of NONE? " 
      Aqvila : "Yes, we are the founders, Cows came up with the name if I remember correctly"
      Reporter : "which was the moment when you started to compete with top GUILDS? What made it? " 
      Aqvila: "The moment we started to shine was when we allied with HOSTILE. I'm srry that the ally broke after I quit game. HOSTILE was a very good ally, our alliance with HOSTILE was Coco merit , he went to a lot of BC's with Ganja and negotiate our alliance ."
      Reporter: "When you won the first Castle Siege? What happened then? "
      Aqvila : "We won it right after we made the alliance with HOSTILE, to be honest, we didn't expect to win.  "
      Reporter: "What guild defended? "
      Aqvila : " MuPPeTs were the holders, but they were just a shadow of their former guild then."
      Reporter: "Do you think that the Castle is Cursed?
      Aqvila : " It is definetly cursed, but that curse can be avoided with a secret recipe."

      Aqvila :" I think no, but unfortunately our allies felt into the curse at some point."
      Reporter: "But I know you had struggles between the members right after you won the first siege. "
      Aqvila:" I think that is inevitable for any guild, but part of our secret recipe is exactly that we talk and figure out a solution, in the end. That happened many times."

      Aqvila : "2003, in a smoke filled internet cafe . "

      Aqvila : "On extremetop100, last autumn during no reset, I was looking for a no rr server and OS server seemed the best on that list. That proved true. "

      Aqvila :" Trau is .... insane, maybe in a good way. "
      Reporter:" What happened, why you two became enemies?"
      Aqvila : " At one point he decided to pk the top guild while afk. Unfortunately he never showed up for any bosses or important events."

      Aqvila : "I'd say Coco, CowsGoMu and WhiteRaven."

      Aqvila :" Coco is hand down the strongest char here, and also a very nice person. Cows is probably the most friendly player here, and WhiteRaven I respect him for being a good SM, probably the most skilled SM."
      Reporter : "Everyone talks about NONE's guild core, can you name us the most important players in this guild core? "
      Aqvila :" Coco, Cows , Trust, Krass, Selphie, Hana, Noisy, Tool they've been in NONE forever and will stay in NONE, and let's not forget Youpi, cutest of them all."
      Reporter: "Can you tell us a short story about each? How you recruited them ?
      Aqvila :" Cows is my cofounder, as I said , he's always the voice of reason, Coco was one of the first guys to join us pro from very first week, Thrust joined us when Phoenix started and he quickly became one of the elders of the guild, Noisy also joined us on non rr ,the story of his life is looking for Anubis ring , Selphie and Hana, we recruited on no rr as well."
      Reporter: "But NoisyBoy was in BDSM2, if I remember right....."
      Aqvila " He was a spy! "
      Reporter: "Oooo, a spicy info, can you tell us a short story about that?"
      Aqvila :" At that point , BDSM dominated every boss, and held CS for a couple of weeks. We decided that we need to evaluate their strength, and, why not, loot some ancients. Noisy was the man for the job, interesting thing he has 3 chars, BDSM asked him to remove all alts from NONE, but a little EE stayed. The most interesting thing tho is he didn't have much to spy on."
      Reporter: "Do you know what happened to BDSM? Why this guild disbanded? "
      Aqvila :" I'm not familiar with the details, but a little bird told me smth about greed."
      Reporter: "The Curse ripped them?"
      Aqvila: "Probably, the castle brings out the worst in us." 
      Reporter :" What do you need to have in order to handle the challenges of a master guild to become the server leader ?"
      Aqvila:" Most important, patience, a cool head and the ability to listen to your guild members, and, last but not least , respect for rivals."
      Reporter:" So you need to be a top psychologist and a good strategist? Something like" keep your friends close but your enemies closer"?"
      Aqvila :" That's right, matters more than gear or lvl."
      Reporter: "Have you ever had a moment in wanting to quit being a Guild Master?
      Aqvila :" To be honest, once or twice, but I am happy I didn't."
      Reporter: "What happened?"
      Aqvila :" Land of Trial drama once, and a condor feather dropped from Medusa, but always, we found a way to solve them."
      Reporter: "How did you managed those situations?"
      Aqvila :" We solved lot issue by letting our guys enforce, our only two rules and now that I think about it that medusa incident sparked our ally break, even if we settled it for the moment. I don't really like rules, so we had 2 for LoT always re auto and no more then 1 char in LoT, apart from that we didn't had any guild rule, just don't be a dick (too much)."
      Reporter: " Do you read the newspaper? "
      Aqvila : "Yea , I never missed an article , even after I stopped playing, drama is too juicy to miss."
      Reporter: "What do you suggest to improve on it?"
      Aqvila : " You should join the main events, CS, evening IT, CW and record videos to report on them, you already do that for CS actually, but the other events are very interesting. Another idea would be to make short interviews randomly just to random event/spot, and find out about a random player."
      Reporter:" Thank you for tips!"
      Reporter: "On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you like this server?"
      Aqvila : " Phoenix, 9/10."
      Reporter: " What do you like the most in our server, and what do you dislike? "
      Aqvila : "I think the best features are the xp stages... Dislike , I think the pvp formulas should be kept close to the original principle, something like :SM should be high dmg but squishy, the pvp balance here is not bad, but not what you expect if you played regular mu before, and can you add in your interviews a print screen with the interviewed players?"
      Reporter :" So , basically you say that tanks should be tanks and the damage dealers to be damage dealers. "
      Aqvila :" Exactly, tweaked, but keep the basic principle."
      Reporter: " If you could ask ADMIN any questions, what would be the most important ones that comes through your mind ? "
      Aqvila : " When will the next non reset edition come? Admin plays the game as a regular player? Did Admin had any servers before OldSquad? "
      Reporter: "  Who do you want me to interview next, from OldSquad rankings (top number one) ?  "

      Those that made a proper feedback and left their char names have been rewarded.
      What was possible (and good) to do during this current edition was released in the latest update. But there are still things that we consider good enough to be made or adjusted for the next edition (including economy, chars tweaks and other aspects).
      I'll leave this topic open for discussions or further feedback but rewards are closed now.

      Based on this previous topic discussions (https://oldsquad.ro/forum/topic/3170-new-pvp-idea/), we tried to combine both @Gion's idea and @Legion's idea with your own feedback into a new PvP system that I'll present below, and you can still bring your feedback before actually implementing it.
      Mercenary Squad is a new OPTIONAL PvP System where anyone who wants more PvP can join.

      The system works in the following ways:
      You can register into the squad by writing /registerpvp. After you join you need to wait at least 24 hours before leaving it. In order to leave you need to write /unregisterpvp. You can join/leave for any number of times you want. There are 2 types of registration: Normal Level & ML, that will reflect only the reward. There will be a PvP Ranking on website for those registered. Features for those that register:
      There are 3 levels of seals that you get by registering, which will upgrade in time: First Seal is automatically given after you register, it will increase your Normal Exp (if you register for normal exp) or Master Exp (if you register for ML exp) with 8%. Second seal will give you 14% exp. Third seal will give you 20% exp. All seals will also have a visual effect on your character so people will know that you're part of the Mercenary Squad. You will bypass Fairness Gaps versus other Mercenaries. You will bypass PK Limit vs other Mercenaries. You will bypass Non-PvP invasions vs other Mercenaries. You will bypass Non-PvP maps vs other Mercenaries. There are 3 options that we thought of about PK between Mercenaries and will let you choose the best one: 1. Free PK between Mercenaries on any place (not getting murderer). 2. Normal PK between Mercenaries (you get murderer as usual). 3. Free PK between Mercenaries on 2-4 random maps selected each week from the highest ones, while on rest of maps will be normal PK. There is also a Mercenary Quest system that can be accessed once every 12 hours with the command /pvpquest. This command will assign you a random ONLINE player from the Mercenary Squad that you need to kill in the next 15 minutes in order to finish the quest. If you fail the quest nothing will happen. If the target goes offline during those 15 minutes you will be assigned with another target and another 15 minutes. Other aspects of Mercenary Squad:
      There is a Point System in order to decide rankings for Mercenaries: You will get 1 point for every 10 minutes of ONLINE TIME while you are registered on the squad. You will get 25 points for every succesfull quest you make as well as 2x Jewel of Harmony. When you reach certain number of points & quests you will be rewarded: 720 points & 8 finished quests will upgrade your seal to the 2nd one. 2500 points & 20 finished quests will upgrade your seal to 3rd one. Extra rewards based on points & quests that will be added at a later stage. IMPORTANT! If you unregister from the Mercenary Squad you will LOSE all your ACCUMULATED POINTS! So, the higher the risk the higher the reward.

      This is just a heads-up post to let you know our plans related to present and future.
      In the next days we'll be back on track continuing the development on the Phoenix server, including several aspects from our list along with pvp system, auto-race as part of OSGM and maybe even the loren deep event that you were talking about.
      Today we also released another small patch with some fixes as well as improving once again the newbies experience.

      Summer has come but our focus will remain on Phoenix for now, and we'll continue to work on it to make it better for everyone involved as well as working in the background for the future.

      As for the future, our next server in rotation is the Max30RR server, which will probably go live in August-September, more details will be announced later on this summer.
      It will come on a new name most probably as we're slowly shifting our server names to personal names that can 'tell a story'.
      There will also be some changes on its gameplay, and it's possible to feature a new system that we're thinking about, but nothing is conclusive now.
      We also have few surprises for you in our pocket but they are also linked to future.

      After more than 3 months since its start it is safe to assume that people already made an impression about the mid-game and early end-game gameplay that Phoenix does have.
      In order to offer you a close to perfection experience in our community servers we require your honest and constructive feedback, so we can know where to work more or what to exploit more in future.
      So, if you want to contribute for your own satisfaction, please let us know in this topic what you liked, what you didn't liked, what you would change/modify/adjust and anything else may help us to help you in future.
      The feedback should be related to: progression (items/exp-wise), events, features, drops, economy, newbies experience, etc. for the MID-GAME & EARLY END-GAME, if you have any suggestions for the things you didn't like they are welcomed.
      If you don't have anything that you didn't like (which is hard to believe) you can focus on what you liked the most (and what can be made even better).
      Anyone that come with a solid feedback (not 1-2 propositions wrote in a fast manner) will receive 300 credits as a small reward for your time and contribution (make sure to leave your character name in the reply).

      NONE is not far away, as they lost again The Castle, and now they are probably confused as they where so confident that no one can take "The Crown" from them, and some of them are probably asking themselves "Why HOSTILE had to leave? " .
       Signs of future shows dark clouds above both guilds and a Curse which seems to have no sleep until victims are buried .
       Last week, the Smurf guild has become weaker than ever, losing some of the major players, only a few brave warriors have prepared to defend Yami's crown.
       On the other side, NONE members had a quiet week in which they bandaged their wounds and prepared for the next fight, without having any major losses of strength . The Curse seems to focus on the other guilds, and avoids them at the moment.
       Few weeks ago a new guild began to rise and shine, this guild got my attention because a few players from the former HOSTILE , led by killua, created it and moved fast in recruiting top warriors, the power of this guild was growing day by day from the day it was created, but it came to light at the end of the week when they registered to Castle Siege to test their strength. The name of this guild is Lemuria, and this name is predestined for conquerors.
       Sunday came, as well as the time of this major Event, in which the most important guilds on the server are fighting for supremacy in the game, and for the treasures that Castle and the Land of Trials brings for the winners of the Siege. 
       Smurf brought one party, without hoping too much to be able to defend the crown until the end, but these remaining guild guards just did refused to let NONE warriors having an easy win. The warriors from NONE have stormed the gates of the castle (a Castle that seemed just a ruin), smashing everything in their way as a hurricane. They took the crown very easy and once again put it on Aqvila's head. Smurf's few warriors didn't gave up, even without a guild master(Yami was offline all the time during this Castle Siege), and attacked NONE until the end.
       Lemuria, the new guild led by killua, started assault after about 15 minutes since Castle Siege started, and brought only few of their warriors. They fought well but they just need more members if they want to compete with NONE, this is why I said it before, it was just a test of strength for them, and they seem to have "nerve" for this . Signs of future looks good for this guild if they keep recruiting top warriors and bring them to the Castle Siege.
       NONE guild won again the supremacy on server this week, maybe easier than ever, and they seem to have a strong CORE of players which this Curse cannot brake, at least until now, because they survived it even without HOSTILE on their side.
       The Smurf guild seems to collapse and looks like it's close to its end ...Did the Curse already added them to the list of buried Guilds? Just like it already did with BDSM, MuPPeTs and last but not least, HOSTILE? (After disbanding alliance with NONE, HOSTILE  became another ex top guild name in Phoenix History , because now it is just a "cemetery" for players who were once involved in the most important guilds that dominated this server)
       With Smurf been almost history, will Lemuria challenge NONE next week?Will they bring enough forces to get a balanced fight and maybe take the crown from them?  One thing is sure, NONE will not give up easy, as they never did. If anyone dares to challenge them needs more then 2 parties, and an united team.

      Many things happened since Chapter V was written, so I will start to say that there were fights disputed on 2 major fronts , one front was forum, and the other one was in game. In game, HOSTILE disbanded alliance and NONE got weaker (or at least this was what I thought), but on the other side, in game, Smurf guild was more silent than ever (they replied to NONE attacks on forum) ,but in game, they barely got 1 party active on most of Big Bosses, and even when they were more than one party, they still lost most of the fights vs NONE...
       Even so, it was an active week for both guilds, with all the noise, especially on forum,  NONE waked up a sleepy giant... rumors says that this was their intention, to wake up Smurf guild provoking, and trying to humiliate them on forum, on bosses fights, and on all possible ways, they made even a funny video (the best I ever saw), check it out here :https://www.captiongenerator.com/1427602/Yami-wants-to-win-CS
       But Sunday came fast and Castle Siege started ... 
       After taking all jokes and humiliations from NONE players, Smurf assaulted Castle with more than 3 parties; I never saw that much force coming from their side for a long time, and crushed NONE defense in like 30 minutes, killing NONE warriors like they were flies. They took the crown and then prepared for NONE attacks. On the other side, NONE seemed shocked by this Smurf attack that paralyzed them, they waked up only after 30 more minutes when they sealed successfully and took back the crown. Smurf tried second attack even harder than the first one, and in like 10 minutes, the crown was again on Yami's head . Last 45 minutes NONE seemed to be so confused about what was happening, as they assaulted castle again and again, but they couldn't do much, as most of their strategies were blocked in the throne room, where they were hitting a solid "wall".
       NONE didn't had the force to protect the Castle this Sunday, after their arrogance waked up Smurf, and ended up losing castle after an unbalanced fight, as Smurf dominated this Castle Siege from the beginning to the end. And now they have an inactive King, even without a Crown .... On the other side, Smurf proved that with balanced number of active players they can dominate NONE, and silenced them up. At least for a while ...
       The thing to broke balance and made Smurf win this fight, was the power of Energy Elfs , as they were at least 3 on Smurf side, and they were active like crazy. I barely saw one or two EEs on NONE side. Also, Smurf used main damage dealers focusing on Aqvila, they did not seemed to be to interested in defending switches. "All on Aqvila" was their strategy. And it damn worked !
       Right after the Castle Siege, I saw important members of Smurf outside of guild. This kind of sign shows us that something is still rotten there, and that they are still trying to find the antidote for The Curse.....

      I didn't made my self clear, which was my bad, but my overall post wasn't targeted to your points (though not specifying anything about ms or etc.) but as a general objective opinion outside of your discussions and from the point of view of us as staff, related to any character discussions/topics. I do stated however that we take things as feedback, and while I didn't said it is bad or good (speaking about MS), I also said that we're not touching chars during ongoing editions, but that doesn't mean it won't be noted for future.
      Again, you're speaking strictly from your point of view as a SMG, while agi does of course benefit you, let's think about the VRF then, where agility barely helps him at all (speed is useless for VRF due to CD on chain drive) and the amount of def gained is just like the AE, very low. DDI is usually the main thing that can keep them alive in fights (yea, they have high hp pool, but on 1v1 as I stated previously, once the sd is gone health is barely helping you to survive few more attacks, taking into account that most classes have up to 180% damage vs RF).
      You speak about damage as it's something overlooked, but you forget that your entire damage is also amplified with different things (main thing to look out is up to 18% from resets, just as pure damage, excepting extra points), then you have chars that does have % rise of damage from weapons, that again benefit much more from damage. Then you have full socketed weapons that brings in another extra % damages, not speaking about ancient sets with DD or % damage increase. The buff from 55% to 60% of DDI is a minor one compared to an 18% increase in damage just from resets. And even there, how many ppl does achieve that max dd%? It's not something easily achievable, at least not for everyone and not that fast (looking to newbies/late comers).
      There are enough methods to counter AE's thing in CC, starting from chasing her since start (you know which one is elf, due to bow) and burst her down on start, being in her range when she starts ice-ing you, up to indirect methods like letting her die to mobs/other ranged players from CC. It's not something that grants her a 100% win, but the only thing that gives skilled elves a chance to win the CC on their own power (how many AE's does even know to play with ice, 4, 5?). 
      I didn't wanted to give playing advice at all, everyone should play his own game and find the best solutions, but I can't keep my mouth, because you're assuming things without even testing before, JUST take 10 minutes from your time, go on test server, put 20 points in ice resistance on skill tree and then try to hit yourself with an AE ice arrow, then you'll maybe understand what Ice resistance truly means and will stop telling that there are no counters. Want to counter AE, sure, you'll lose 20 points for them, but you will be almost safe. Let's test before writing or complaining, you have all the tools you need to test anything in few minutes, only use few commands and you have everything you need, then we can speak on the same subject knowing most of things that game offers, not just by speculating.

      Everyone wants its character to be the best, of course, and if possible at any stage of the game. That will never happen and it's not even possible from technical point of view.
      Every character is designed differently, having its own strengths and weaknesses depending on build, gear, stage of the game, event, and even the player itself.
      We are developing and tweaking characters of this game for more than 3 years, adjusting formulas, damages, pvp, class vs class rates, etc. The default state of the characters (Webzen) was just a joke. But again, despite our continuous efforts it will never reach a "perfect state", it's simply not possible. You're expecting too much from such a game, if you want 100% PvP MU is not the game for that, if we think at a larger scale, not even a game like WoW is 100% on PvP (neither PvM), where differences between classes, characters and specs are huge, favoring only some of them at different things. But, just like in WoW where a Hunter (in an easy way) can make almost double DPS at PvM compared to many of other classes, the rest of them brings something different to table on each situation.
      The same idea we brought for MU to have an 'overall balance' apart from class vs class things, where BALANCE doesn't mean a class is not better than the other BUT all classes are more or less equal and BRINGS different things at different moments/situations.
      If we just browse all the existing tops from Phoenix we'll see all classes in the top at most of the things, ofc, some better at some points and it's not an 100% accurate view because most of the tops depends on the player (and how active he is).
      If we look at some (considered by public) good players from our server they can all make their class look OP in different situations, examples can be Zutto for BK, Catarina for SUM, Ganja for AE, Coco for SM, DIEE for SMG, etc.
      Are all characters playable at a decent level? Yes, they are. Are there better chars than others? Yes, they are, at different stages and at different things. Do some characters have specific tricks that can be "abused" by their class? Yes, they have (Ice arrow, Weapon skill for bosses, etc.) Is their right to use them and profit by being smart and knowing their class as it was designed by the Webzen, in the first place, without our direct impact? Yes, it's their right, as long as the impact is purely for their own interest without disturbing important things (IT, for example).
      Apart from doing everything we can to ensure a fair environment to all the characters as much as we consider, we will never rework entire game or all the tricks and things that game does offer just to satisfy different individuals. 
      We are running on the same core since 3 years, many of you played here multiple editions and already knew how most of the things work (or not). Everything we do is well documented pre-launch as well as post-launch. You had all the formulas (and even personal tips) of all the characters available before server launch. You had beta period as well as a permanent test-server pre and post-launch to test all characters and builds you want on any situation and gear/resets/builds. You even had 4 resets to change your class if you didn't like it. Coming here and crying about your own character or other's character is not making you look good, taking into account all the things you had in your asset to choose your character carefully.
      As a conclusion we'll always adjust characters and things we consider that can be improved based on feedback, but never during an ongoing edition (and I'm speaking strictly about individual characters power/assets).

Yes, they have (Ice arrow, Weapon skill for bosses, etc.) Is their right to use them and profit by being smart and knowing their class as it was designed by the Webzen, in the first place, without our direct impact? Yes, it's their right, as long as the impact is purely for their own interest without disturbing important things (IT, for example).
      Apart from doing everything we can to ensure a fair environment to all the characters as much as we consider, we will never rework entire game or all the tricks and things that game does offer just to satisfy different individuals. 
      We are running on the same core since 3 years, many of you played here multiple editions and already knew how most of the things work (or not). Everything we do is well documented pre-launch as well as post-launch. You had all the formulas (and even personal tips) of all the characters available before server launch. You had beta period as well as a permanent test-server pre and post-launch to test all characters and builds you want on any situation and gear/resets/builds. You even had 4 resets to change your class if you didn't like it. Coming here and crying about your own character or other's character is not making you look good, taking into account all the things you had in your asset to choose your character carefully.
      As a conclusion we'll always adjust characters and things we consider that can be improved based on feedback, but never during an ongoing edition (and I'm speaking strictly about individual characters power/assets).

      I like to see people involved in discussions, but you should know that this things are counted just as feedback.
      We are never touching characters during an ongoing edition.
      Everyone wants its character to be the best, of course, and if possible at any stage of the game. That will never happen and it's not even possible from technical point of view.
      Every character is designed differently, having its own strengths and weaknesses depending on build, gear, stage of the game, event, and even the player itself.
      We are developing and tweaking characters of this game for more than 3 years, adjusting formulas, damages, pvp, class vs class rates, etc. The default state of the characters (Webzen) was just a joke. But again, despite our continuous efforts it will never reach a "perfect state", it's simply not possible. You're expecting too much from such a game, if you want 100% PvP MU is not the game for that, if we think at a larger scale, not even a game like WoW is 100% on PvP (neither PvM), where differences between classes, characters and specs are huge, favoring only some of them at different things. But, just like in WoW where a Hunter (in an easy way) can make almost double DPS at PvM compared to many of other classes, the rest of them brings something different to table on each situation.
      The same idea we brought for MU to have an 'overall balance' apart from class vs class things, where BALANCE doesn't mean a class is not better than the other BUT all classes are more or less equal and BRINGS different things at different moments/situations.
      If we just browse all the existing tops from Phoenix we'll see all classes in the top at most of the things, ofc, some better at some points and it's not an 100% accurate view because most of the tops depends on the player (and how active he is).
      If we look at some (considered by public) good players from our server they can all make their class look OP in different situations, examples can be Zutto for BK, Catarina for SUM, Ganja for AE, Coco for SM, DIEE for SMG, etc.
      Are all characters playable at a decent level? Yes, they are. Are there better chars than others? Yes, they are, at different stages and at different things. Do some characters have specific tricks that can be "abused" by their class?
