    1. Hello OldSquaders, Inception reached its highest record of online players (both characters and unique players) 2 days ago, after 40 days since its start. There were 716 online characters and 430+ unique players online at that time. It's the highest number of unique players online we ever had on our projects, and we want to thank you for your trust and support. As a "reward", we're preparing a new fun system for you to enjoy! You can read more about it here: https://oldsquad.ro/forum/topic/3414-oldsquad-soccer-system-league/ Also, we've released our Early-Game Feedback topic where you can contribute for a better future! You can read more about it here: https://oldsquad.ro/forum/topic/3413-early-game-feedback/ #MakeMUGreatAgain!
    2. Hi there, OldSquaders! Not sure how many of you like fun activities in this game, except of exp and AFK/Hunt, but for those that like to have fun from time to time, we've come with a HOT new system! OldSquad Soccer System - Our new UNIQUE Soccer System. Why we're calling it UNIQUE? Because it is totally different compared to a normal System. Before telling you details about this new system we have 2 things to announce: We'll need 2 teams that want to "showcase" this System on Test-Server, to make sure it works perfectly before releasing it. When everything will be 100%, we'll release our OldSquad Soccer League, which is a 2 weeks championship, more details after presenting the Soccer System. Soccer System: Just like in the normal Soccer, there will be 2 teams fighting in the Soccer Stadium, located in Arena. Each team must have its own dedicated Guild to participate at the Soccer. A team can consist of 1 up to 5 players. Gameplay: All soccer participants will be granted with 100% absorb of damage. That means, you won't be able to kill any of the opponents (so, anyone is free to join, no matter level/resets). In order to win, you'll have to be the first team to reach 5 goals (100 points). HOT: Instead of damaging opponents, each player will have a "STUN" effect, added on the first attack every 20 seconds. Basically, you will be able to STUN opponents, one at a time, with a 20 seconds cooldown between stuns. The first touch of the opponent (skill/left click) when cooldown is available will cause the STUN effect. Each character can use only ONE skill at soccer, and there are different STUN durations: Lightning: SM, EMG Penetration: AE Force Skill: DL Weapon Skill: BK, SMG Chain Drive: RF Drain Life: SUM Stun Duration: Range: 4 seconds (SM,AE,SUM,EMG) Medium Range: 5 seconds (DL) Melee: 6 seconds (BK,SMG,RF) HOT: Every 15 seconds, 1 random player from each team will be BUFFED or CURSED. The effect will be the same for both teams (if one is BUFFED the other is BUFFED as well, with the same effect). There is a 33% chance for BUFF and 66% chance for CURSE. Duration of buffs/curses is 10 seconds. Buffs: Quickness Effect - It will boost movespeed. Mana Shield Effect - Immune to stuns from players. Curses: Ice Effect - Will decrease movespeed. Order of Restraint Effect - Will chain the character, making it unable to move. Blind Effect - Will block the character soccer skill. Note: System can be adjusted based on your feedback. OldSquad Soccer League: After the Soccer System will reach its final version, we'll start the registration for OldSquad Soccer League. You will need a team of 3 characters (must be different classes). You can also have 1-2 backup persons (again, different classes). There will be a total of 8 teams allowed (first 8 registered + the next 3 as "back-up" in case first 8 don't participate). One Season will last for 2 weeks, with 2 rounds (1 round each week). During each week, each team must play versus the rest of the teams (7 games per team). The date/hour will be set at a common agreement between teams captains. When a date is confirmed by both, staff must be noticed, if one of the teams won't be there at that hour, the other one wins automatically. One win = 1 point. One lose = 0 points. At the end of the 2 weeks, the first 3 teams with most points will win some nice rewards. The last 2 teams from Season will be eliminated from League, and won't be able to join the next Season. 2 new slots will be open for 2 new teams on each Season, + x extra slots based on teams that don't want to continue.
    3. Hello, After Stage 1.1 was completed and after more than 40 days, it's safe to assume that the Early-Game of Inception is almost over. In order to offer you a "close to perfection" experience in our community servers we require your honest and constructive feedback, so we can know where to work more or what to exploit more in future. So, if you want to contribute for your own satisfaction, please let us know in this topic what you liked, what you didn't liked, what you would change/modify/adjust and anything else may help us to help you in future. The feedback should be related to: progression (items/exp-wise), events, features, drops, economy, newbies experience, etc. for the EARLY-GAME, if you have any suggestions for the things you didn't like they are welcomed. If you don't have anything that you didn't like (which is hard to believe) you can focus on what you liked the most (and what can be made even better). Anyone that come with a solid feedback (not 1-2 propositions wrote in a fast manner) will receive 150 credits as a small reward for your time and contribution - leave character name in topic. Note: Feedbacks are accepted (for reward) until Friday at 23:59. Cheers!
    4. There are many not full yet, so I won't rush with that, if there will really be needed such measure we can apply it, but for now it's not a must, IMO. If you have ML you join only at level 400 on BC8/DS7, in rest you join according to level.
    5. Ehm, Repels counter got a bug, and I had to reset most of the repels counter (that went on -1) in order to work fine now, so 99% of repels got deleted. Should count fine from now on, cheers
    6. Release date: 24.10.2019 at 22:25 - Updates are up and no restart needed! Changelog: [FIXED] Mercenaries that left the squad were still considered Mercs at PvP (invasions/non-pvp maps, etc.) [FIXED] Quest time will be kept even if you unregister from squad and register again. [UPDATED] Now you need at least 1 reset to join the Mercenary Squad. Note: The current mercs with 0 resets have been removed. [UPDATED] Now you need to have at least 10 Points to start a PvP Quest. [UPDATED] Now you can only be registered with 2 characters maximum per IP, on Mercenary Squad. Note: The first 2 characters you register on IP will always be the only 2 allowed. [ADDED] Repels counter for mercs repels, it is showing on website from now. Note: Repels counter was added yesterday, so only Repels starting from yesterday were counted. [UPDATED] FAQ can now be accessed from main page -> last menu item, near Login. [FIXED] Raven getting bugged after 130-150 speed, causing way more dps than normal. The following changes have been made: Speed formula: from 30+(RavenLevel*2)+CMD/60 to 30+(RavenLevel*1)+CMD/400 Min damage formula: from 250+(RavenLevel*20)+CMD/4 to 250+(RavenLevel*30)+CMD/3 Max damage formula: from 450+(RavenLevel*30)+CMD/2 to 450+(RavenLevel*45)+CMD/1 Basically, buffed damage and nerfed speed, so it remains in normal parameters, without bugging out. Note: CMD build is still a FUN build which is not recommended for any serious play. [ADDED] Potion Girl on Crywolf safezone. [UPDATED] Removed Elemental Shield & Mace from BoK's. + Other small fixes.
    7. Entire Patch is now live! It was also re-organized to prevent confusions.
    8. Damn dude, what alcohol do with people ☠️ Closed.
    9. I'm sorry @Shuryk but I can't continue a discussion with you as long as you don't even read what I write, where I clearly said that SD RECOVERY IS OUT FROM GAME, and keep telling your own things. This subject is closed for me, you can ofc continue it how much you want (available for everyone), or you can just start participating at CS to have a chance for such rewards, that were ANNOUNCED before everyone started from 0. Now that the current better players have them, congrats to them, they deserve them. Peace!
    10. Stage is not over yet, so anytime from now when it will be over the rest of update will be released. We depend on the top players that probably made their own order for the stage reward.
    11. As I guessed the hour wrong when stage is over, the rest of the update will be released at around 17:00, to make sure it is over until then. Cheers!
    12. Release date: 21.10.2019 at 20:00 - Everything is up from now, no extra restart needed (first part was up last night). Congrats to RuSuLeTzZz, Makiavelli and RedBuLL for finishing the Stage 1.1! Note: Most of the [FIXED] things were done as hot-fixes with days ago, when finding them, and just documented now. Note2: You need to update the Client via Launcher! Changelog: [UPDATED] Stage 1.1 exp (5rr) is now 75% instead of 25%. [UPDATED] Newbies exp boost applied: 0rr -> +100% exp. 1-4rr -> +40% exp. [UPDATED] Released Mercenary Squad. Info is quoted from Special/HOT Features topic: Mercenary Squad is a new OPTIONAL PvP System where anyone who wants more PvP can join. You can register into the squad by writing /registerpvp. After you join you need to wait at least 6 hours before leaving it. In order to leave you need to write /unregisterpvp. You can join/leave for any number of times you want. There are 2 types of registration: Normal Level & ML, that will reflect only the reward, but entire reward progression is based ONLY on what you choose. If you write only /registerpvp you will be registered for Normal Level reward, if you write /registerpvp 2 you will be registered for Master Level reward. There is also a new Ranking tab on Website (PvP Rankings), reflecting the top for Mercenaries. The system is active only on normal server (server 20 excluded). Features for those that register: There are 3 levels of seals that you get by registering, which will upgrade in time: First Seal is automatically given after you register, it will increase your Normal Exp (if you register for normal exp) or Master Exp (if you register for ML exp) with 6%. Second seal will give you 14% exp. Third seal will give you 24% exp. All seals will also have a visual effect on your character so people will know that you're part of the Mercenary Squad. You will bypass Fairness Gaps versus other Mercenaries. You will bypass PK Limit vs other Mercenaries. You will bypass Non-PvP invasions vs other Mercenaries. You will bypass Non-PvP maps vs other Mercenaries. When you reach a total of 15 kills, you'll no longer gain extra kills vs other Mercenaries. Mercenary Quest System: There is also a Mercenary Quest system that can be accessed once every 12 hours with the command /pvpquest. This command will assign you a random ONLINE player from the Mercenary Squad that you need to kill in the next 15 minutes in order to finish the quest. The assigned target will be prioritized to be outside of Guild/Alliance. The system will automatically reassign targets on the following circumstances: The current target is on the same gens family and it is on a gens map. The current target is on safe-zone (or goes to safe-zone). The current target goes offline. Every time you write /pvpquest while a quest is ongoing will also show your current target name. There is a counter-attack function called Repel: If the quest targets kill their hunter before being killed, they will receive 30 points and 1x Gemstone, and the killer will fail the quest. If you fail the quest nothing will happen. Other aspects of Mercenary Squad: There is a Points system in order to decide rankings for Mercenaries: You will get 1 point for every 10 minutes of ONLINE TIME while you are registered on the squad. You will get 25 points for every quest you finish as well as 2x Gemstone. When you reach certain number of points & quests your seal will be upgraded: 1200 points & 10 finished quests will upgrade your seal to the 2nd one. 3500 points & 30 finished quests will upgrade your seal to 3rd one. Extra rewards based on points & quests that will be added at a later stage. IMPORTANT! If you unregister from the Mercenary Squad you will LOSE all your ACCUMULATED POINTS! So, the higher the risk the higher the reward. [UPDATED] Bloody Witch Queen items (GD/DM,etc.) can now be dropped with a 30% chance from BoK+5 (and only BoK5, not 4/3). [UPDATED] Bloody Witch Queen will drop 380 exc set items instead of GD/DM, etc. [UPDATED] Now PvM points from bosses (GGD, Kundun, Nightmare, etc.) are given to all players near the Boss instead of to the party/guild that made the last-hit, to avoid confusions. [UPDATED] Released BoK+5 Goldens. [UPDATED] Vote now require at least 1 reset. [UPDATED] Blast & Fire Scream have been improved. Fire Scream now shares the same stats as Chaotic: Base skill damage increased from 130 to 190. Range increased from 4 to 5. Blast now shares the same stats as Chain Lightning: Base skill damage increased from 50 to 110. Range increased from 3 to 5. Note: This changes are made so that FS & Blast can replace Chaotic & Chain (that aren't working correctly) on Server1. Note2: On Server 20 you can use Chaotic/Chain normally. [UPDATED] In order to reduce the Zen Inflation the following changes have been made: Zen cost table for reset after 10 resets changed: Old version: Each extra reset until 20 resets = + 30.000.000 zen per reset. The 20th reset = 465.000.000 zen. Each extra reset until 30 resets = + 60.000.000 zen per reset. The 30th reset = 1.005.000.000 zen. New version: Each extra reset until 20 resets = + 50.000.000 zen per reset. The 20th reset = 650.000.000 zen. Each extra reset until 30 resets = + 80.000.000 zen per reset. The 30th reset = 1.450.000.000 zen. Zen from mobs reduced with 20%. Kalima zen drop rate nerfed. It is still the best place to farm zen from mobs but at a lowered rate than before. More than that, we're willing to make a MOSS Gambler to spend zen on, help us build it here: https://oldsquad.ro/forum/topic/3373-building-a-moss-merchant-together/ [UPDATED] Devil Square have been improved to spawn mobs in a better order and mobs with level closer to the DS levels. [UPDATED] SD Potions Max Stack reduced from 3 to 1. [UPDATED] SD Potions SD rate reduced from 25% to 5% per potion. [UPDATED] Feather & Crest droprate increased with 35% as we're getting out of early-game. [ADDED] Gens Check on Gens Maps, will auto-move if there are characters without Gens. [ADDED] FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page, with most common questions that we receive along with the answer. You can access it here: https://oldsquad.ro/faq [FIXED] Because Senior Mix couldn't give more than 1 reward, Senior Mix makes a "Heart of the Dark Lord" instead that is dropping 2x Guild Master Box. [FIXED] Box of Ancients not dropping in Devil Square 6. [FIXED] Gemstone not dropping in Kanturu3. [FIXED] Fenrir materials not dropping in Crywolf. [FIXED] Move to Kalima (instead of other map) from Crywolf if Character left from Kalima to Crywolf. [FIXED] Character disconnected spawning out of LoT on reconnect, now it will spawn in the same place. [FIXED] Change Race incorrectly adding the points and Quest state. [FIXED] Warp from website getting non-gens characters into gens maps. [FIXED] Lilium Stick & Items requiring level 380/400. + Other small fixes/adjustments/improvements.
    13. It's not about you, it's about everyone. If people thought that there is a "problem" with such Senior Mix, they should have spoken before an actual release, not after a guild is winning it and getting their PROMISED rewards. That's not objective, it's just subjective. If anyone would write anything with 2 days before Senior Mix like: Guys, maybe 2 boxes is too much at this stage for Lord Mix? We would then have a real discussion, as it was 100% objective without anyone having the rewards yet. Now it's just subjective for the losers/rest. And no offense, but I don't consider it a problem. It's a high-motivation reward for people to join CS, if not by building loyal and good guilds, at least for rewards, with random players that don't know each-other just to compete for the rewards, not for having a real guild. And trust me, any guild vs 2 guilds can't handle the numbers, no matter how many resets/gears they have. And once again, test their balance on PvP on Test-Server, then we can complain together about "balance".
    14. Excuse me DIE, but Senior was released 6 days ago. You had 30 days to see "how game will progress", and argue about Senior Mix.
    15. What you don't see is that that difference in Phoenix for 2k stats is huge, here for such stats (not saying 48k, we're not at that point, but even 10-15k stats is huge). 380 options are also not tweaked for high stats, so their impact is very low compared to Phoenix. I am not fighting with anyone, and never said that my ideas are better or superior, I just wrote facts, which I wait to be argued and proved wrong. More than that, I was the one to set low rewards for CS, including low ancient drop, few spots, small erohim reward and a classic Senior, in order to have things fine. Then people ARGUED that it is not enough, so I just followed players feedback instead my own initial idea and buffed Senior rewards. I repeat again, this rewards are not something that CAME OVER NIGHT, they were announced and informed about LONG TIME AGO, nobody said anything about them, why now after CONCURENCE is winning them we start to complain? I am 1000% that if you had the CS and those mixes you wouldn't say a thing about them, and just enjoy them. Because this is how CS works, only 1 GUILD can win, and it's like 5-8% of server, of course that those that lose or not even participate (92-95% of server) will just complain. If it was something added after game has started, I would understand any complain, and would highly support them, but not when you knew about them but only when some people have them you complain. It's the same your guild did for sd pots and other things related to CS, when you won first CS-es, none of you complained about them or anything related to CS, as fast as someone else won the CS, you started to complain about them and accuse a trash gameplay at CS. This things are telling a lot about you guys. And now, because I am basing on facts, let's talk about the "balance" that you keep saying that can't be, with such items. I will put here some screens from test-server, I didn't made individual screen with each stats and etc. for both chars, but you can go there anytime and do the same tests like I do and see with your own eyes. Context: Attacker = SM 6k ENE 3k AGI small wings and non-exc platina staff + 9. Target = SM 2k agility 5k vit using: 1. Sphinx set + 9 + l + dd + hp 2. Venom Mist Set + 9 + l + dd + hp + 380 option. Some screens: If 1k extra SD and a "barely-seen" deff difference in PvP is unbalanced then I am just a retard that can't understand what balance means, and I apologize for it. Oh, and that's for current stats, I don't wanna imagine at higher stats, how the difference actually look like.
    16. Rewards are completely same. There is no exc 380 set in Phoenix, so the highest exc items are in Senior, on both Servers, bringing the advantage of the highest defence from game, and having the same options like rest of items.
    17. Ehm, let's get to the facts. When we asked for feedback on Phoenix, many of you said both on official topic and in private chats that CS rewards are not attractive enough, and it's only for fun. And that Senior Mix is useless, nobody use it. Even you, @Shuryk, stated the same, and I will quote you from this topic: https://oldsquad.ro/forum/topic/3244-phoenix-mid-late-game-feedback We heard your feedback and raised the reward from Senior so that it makes more sense to use it and make the CS more attractive in terms of rewards. I announced this change along with the important changes and differences from Inception, on this very first topic: https://oldsquad.ro/forum/topic/3315-oldsquad-inception-grand-opening-info/ Did anyone said anything that "2 boxes may be too powerful"? Nah, nobody said anything. Now people just waited to see "who win first CS with Senior Mix" in order to start complaining about them, whoever would won wouldn't say anything, of course. Were this rewards added over night for special people? Nah, they were announced especially before, compared to other things, and they were always in Info before Senior Mix was even released, so plenty of time to argue about them. Now, let's move on to their importance. With all mixes completed in a week, you can barely gear-up 2 characters, if you're lucky enough to get at least 2 good options per item. I will still take the best scenarios, where 2 characters can be geared with at least 2 good options per item. That means 8 characters/month can be geared with 380 exc items with 2 good options. How much time 380 will be the best? Until socket. When socket will be a thing? In around 2-3 months. How many chars will be geared in 380 until then? 24 at best. What means 24 chars? Around 4% of constantly active chars. What are, in the end, the advantages of the 380 sets? ~450 extra defence compared to bok2 sets, rest of options are same. Not even SD recovery is a thing anymore (it is gone from gameplay on Inception as we saw the Phoenix problems with 380 recovery). Can anyone have them? Ofc, go for it, try your chances at CS and stop AFK-ing, top players gave their time in Stage in order for ENTIRE TOP 100 TO BE ON SAME RESET. No excuses to not participate at CS. Ok, this is the actual scenario, let's look at other scenario: Let's assume Senior Mix was opened after 2 months instead of 1 month. Most of people (talking about the same top players) would already have good sets with 2 options at high +, not being worth for them to invest in senior mix, just for the extra defence, and taking into account that sockets were even closer, ancients were dropping out from gameplay and Erohim rewards having close to 0 impact, what was left for CS then. I look forward to convince me that what I am saying is wrong, and I'll change w/e you want.
    18. Just write global mu online castle siege on youtube. I will help you with one random vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRxcGfpOOGo Now wipe your tears!
    19. It was pretty fun to watch, this CS, especially that I personally didn't knew who will win until the very end. Will be even better after the next patch when sd pots will be nerfed to the ground, when stage is over. Congrats to both guilds. Looking forward to see a 3rd one to make it even more spicey.
    20. I'll let you continue to discuss about it then, if there will be something that majority will want, I will then analyse it and come with a conclusion, until then, everyone wants different things, I will just adjust zen inflation with classic nerfs. If you're interested into Moss, I can do it, but you must agree with something feasible, sharing the same opinion into an option of implementation. Cheers!
    21. I totally agree with that, and I said it multiple times already. I didn't said those rates should be like that, just sumed up the possible rewards. And, we're currently only 'brain-storming', without something good on paper and then good on tests, MOSS would not even be implemented. That's why I require more feedback and ideas so we can conclude something together, I don't know the current economy like you, the players, and I can't do something like this alone, without the risk of breaking the gameplay more than making it better.
    22. To sum up things until now, the following reward(s) would be fine, in my opinion, based on your suggestions: 50% chance for high non-exc items like Bloody Queen tier (GD,etc.) and 380 tier with Luck and +0 ~ +7. 40% chance for BoK+4/BoK+5 items with 80% luck and 1 exc option, + 0. 10% chance for extras, like TOCA, Magic Backpack and other suggestions you may have. 100kk zen per roll. In this way, Moss would attract both "top players" and rest of under geared players.
    23. "Top players which is the majority" - How can a top (a percent of players, by definition), is a majority? ^^ There are "top players" in medal sets still, so there's no problem for 1 option high exc. You can't have end-game items with Zen.
    24. I usually ignore characters discussions but I should make things clear about BK, because you're misunderstanding way too much. So, let's be 100% objective now, and forget about your own characters and just look at the bigger picture. BK, as a character, does struggle the hardest from all characters at Hunt and even PvM. It's the least wanted in parties and the lowest DPS on hunts. PvM rankings does clearly shows that. BK's without permanent parties or guilds to help them gear up and level-ul are really hard to keep up with the rest of characters, especially in the long run. BK's without at least decent combo skills are even trash on PvP, except of hunt/pvm (which means like 70% of game). So, under this circumstances, how can you not be THE BEST on PvP, when you have both gear, combo skills and ofc, a bit of LUCK? Why would any average BK players would ever play BK if they won't know that the "struggle" will be worth it and they will shine on PvP at least? Yes, there are exceptions like Zutto that also was very active himself and had an entire guild to help him gear-up/level-up, apart from his combo-skills. But how many Zutto's are on server? Until now, only one. Rest of BK's are just decent or worse. Imagine if under this conditions, Zutto's wouldn't shine on PvP, what about rest of BK's? They would be completely useless. Ok, now moving forward, BK vs any other class from game, does NEED to perfectly manage 5 BUTTONS, in order to be good, while rest of classes mostly manage 2 buttons. Going further, let's take the SMG as example now. He's top hunter while also 2nd pvp class currently after BK. So SMG currently does enjoy both gears/credits and etc. from hunt and also PvP things. Why would not be fair for good BK's to be better than a Character that is already Top hunter and much better at PvM? Ofc, things will change as game progress, because, if we look at SMG, he may be better now, but other classes are also upgrading their class-buffs during progression, while SMG does not have any extra benefits, and also missing the Helm item for extra options later on (like 7% extra ddi). As a conclusion, everyone can play BK, but not everyone can have the same success with it. If some have, they deserve it. Everyone is free to say whatever and want the best for his character / blame the losses on other characters, but this is the reality, just like in WoW (one of the biggest and best MMO's) some characters are better than others at different things, some are just decent at everything, some are better/worst in early/mid/late game. If a game like that does work like this, what you except from MU?
    25. Items with more than 2 options are out of speak in any case. I was thinking about something to "complete" things out, because in the end, it's about Zen, which can easily be farmed by anyone, nothing special to be too worthy. What I was thinking is that, if bok1-2 exc can be also farmed from monsters (with only 1 option), what about MOSS giving BOK+3~+5 items with only 1 option? What we have until now is that hours should be known (not dynamic/random), so let's say 1 time per day or 3-4 times per week or even only in weekend(s). Price should be 100kk-150kk per roll. There will be limitations so many people should get in touch with Moss (not only 5-6 blocking entrance at Moss for entire duration) - still thinking about them. My personal option for reward is: - Exc set items & weapons from BoK+3~BoK+5 (and maybe added later ones as well in high stages) with only 1 option and higher chance for Luck. - Non-exc weapons from BoK+4 & Nightmare/Dark Elves. - Chance for consumables like jewels, tocas, etc.
