Highest maps tier are Karutan2, Relics, Vulcanus, Raklion, Kalima7, Swamp. Karutan2 + K7 - non pvp Vulcanus - gens Raklion & Swamp normal. Non-pvp maps can be transformed into normal maps with bonus exp when there is mercenary squad active. Please edit your reply instead of multiple replies.

Hello OldSquaders, We have the news about Inception as we promised! The release date of Inception will be on Friday, 13 September at 19:00 Server Time (GMT+2) - mobs will spawn at 20:00. We're still working hard on it but we hope to give you the Public Test Server access with at least few days before opening, where you can test what you want for Inception. The Public Test Server will remain opened during the Inception life-time so you can always test anything you want there. The official info topic has been updated and it can be found here: https://oldsquad.ro/forum/topic/993-inception-official-information-many-details-about-server/ It contains all the info about Inception - but they are only like 85% sure, things may change until it's open day, based on your feedback and suggestions that you can bring in this topic: https://oldsquad.ro/forum/topic/3314-discussions-about-inception/ We'll continue to update/release info topics for Inception during this days so keep an eye on forum! We want to also highlight some of the important changes/features that Inception will bring: New Mother-Kid system, where Inception will be the mother server and Max50RR will be a seasonal (100 days) kid server with limited content (no sockets/wings level 4 available) from where transfers will be made to Inception at the end of each season. OFF-Attack is now available for everyone (5 hours, no auto-pick) while VIP's will boost it: Hunter - +5 hours, no autopick. Dealer - Autopick. Professional - +7 hours, with autopick. Box of Kunduns drops are reworked to give new chances for lower players/casual players to farm their items: BoK+1: 68% chance for BoK+1 item, 24% chance for BoK+2 item, 8% chance for BoK+3 item. BoK+2: 68% chance for BoK+2 item, 24% chance for BoK+3 item, 8% chance for BoK+4 item. BoK+3: 68% chance for BoK+3 item, 24% chance for BoK+4 item, 8% chance for BoK+5 item. BoK+4: 76% chance for BoK+4 item, 24% chance for BoK+5 item. BoK+5: 100% chance for BoK+5 item. Obs: The items dropped on lower BoK's are only Set Items (no weapons). Anti-Alt farm feature added: Now you can't use Helper in low maps (until Tarkan). You will be able to use a built-in clicker that is working based on Helper settings (using /attack command). In the rest of maps (mid and high) you can't use the /attack command but you can use Helper. Due to that, all drops from maps until Tarkan are highly boosted for active farm (jewels, spells, etc.) Maps limits for all classes: In order to keep the balance between RF, MG & DL vs rest of classes and to also keep the maps as they were intended (without lower level move from website) we added level-checks: Now DL, RF, MG can stay in low maps with -10 levels than rest, and on rest of maps with -20 levels than rest. Also, in order to progress on maps by feet (from kanturu1 -> kanturu2 or atlans1 -> atlans2) you'll have to have the map level (available for all classes). Maps are revamped: Now the 3 different types of maps are spread to make sure we have 1 type from each on any kind of map (low,mid,high,v high). Now Non-PvP maps no longer have exp penalty (from 15%) while drop penalty remains the same (25%). Now gens-maps will give you +10% exp compared to rest of maps but mercenary squad boost won't work on gens maps (but quests & points will still work). Now on normal maps you'll have Mercenary Squad that will boost your exp (+6%/+14%/+24%) and bypass non-pvp maps, etc. The new map system is made because of Mercenary Squad, instead of punishing less-active players we'll just reward more-active players, without affecting the overall gameplay for everyone. Balgass reward is now 2x Old Box 4 and 3x PoH, but can be picked by any Balgass contributors, neutral drop, not only by killer-party. Killer will still receive the credits. The same rule is also applied for Illusion of Kundun from now. Energy Elf buff-nerfs to make them less 'must-have' and more 'an extra advantage'. Exc items drop from mobs on low and mid maps is raised (so people have things to invest jewels in, on early-game), but they can only drop with 1 option but with 80% chance for luck. RF, DL, MG will go on same BC/DS/CC like rest of chars based on the same levels. Other changes: Now Rare items will drop with 4 options instead of 3. The chance to drop them is also lower. Now Senior Mix will give 2x Guild Master Boxes instead of 1. Each Guild Master Box will drop specific 380 exc item with 3-4 options. Now Bloody Queen will drop 2x Last exc. item tier items instead of 1. Royal Rumble, Death King invasions and /blockexp features are removed. Full HP Recovery option from Wings (level 3 & 4) is removed. Some Old Boxes drops reworked. This are just a part of things that we're working on, there are more things updated/changed/reworked, but you'll find them either on the info topics or directly in game. Hello, We've added a Tag & Prefix system in order to find info more easily. There are 4 tags for new topics from: News & Announcements Guidelines & FAQs OldSquad Newspaper Official Polls Suggestions Bug Reports General MU Discussions The tags are: Phoenix - for topic related to Phoenix server. Inception - for topic related to Inception server. Max50RR - for topic related to Max50RR server. Global - for topic related to general (no specific server). There are also special tags for the following sections: Market Place - you can choose the tag from Buy, Sell, Buy & Sell, Trade - based on topic info. Player Reports / Warns - you can choose the tag from Bad Language, Racism, Hack/Exploit, Selling for Money, Bug Abuse, Insistent Non-English Posts - based on the subject of your player report. Guilds - you can choose the tag from Recruiting, Looking for Guild - based on the subject of your topic. All the tags are mandatory and we recommend to also set the prefix, not only the tag. Also, the following changes are made to the Legends group: - The Legends award that is won on OSGM will only last as long as the edition of the server where it was won lasts. That means old Legends from OSGM have been dropped back to Members. - The first players to reach max resets from each class on each server will be granted with permanent Legends award. (updated with Phoenix Legends). - Each server edition (during edition or at the end) we'll choose 1-4 new Legends based on their contributions and performance on the edition. That can include but not limited to: Server activity, bug reports, helping newbies, good suggestions, etc. (updated). - People that didn't visited our forum for more than 1 year will also be removed from Legends. (updated). We're trying to make the forum more attractive and we're looking for your suggestions to compress / make it more clean and attractive. Hello, Almost 10 months has passed since NonReset started its 2nd edition. Due to the many things changed on our economy system (to balance it for everyone, not only top players), NonReset was a victim of economy tweaks, that ended in it being pretty easy compared to how it was intended, so it wasn't the "hard server" that was promised and that was seen on its first edition. But, thanks to the feedback and its fail, Phoenix was born, and it was much better than both current and first edition of NonReset. All mistakes that were noticed by both you and us on NonReset were fixed/adjusted on Phoenix and together we created a better alternative for it, despite the sacrifices. So we can't be sad about it, we continue to learn from mistakes and "what works - what doesn't" and improve our overall servers to such standards, because nothing that is stale is fun and we must always adapt to your needs. Due to the low amount of people left active in the last 2 months (barely touching 25 online) we decided to end its suffering and to bring it down, as there is no point in keeping it up in the current state for more than it was granted. Due to that, NonReset will be officially closed on this Tuesday, between 20:00 and 00:00. Thanks to everyone that took part in this project and especially to those that kept playing it on the long run! As for its future, we have both good news and bad news. The bad news is that NonReset will no longer be one of our main servers, Phoenix is just a better NonReset and we will continue with Phoenix. So it was the last NonReset edition on OldSquad. The good news is that NonReset won't be gone completely. Since 2 months ago we are in a pre-alpha phase of Season 14. Things are moving slowly because we have different priorities for now. But in future we plan to release our own Season 14 project (different from season 6) where NonReset will be moved as a standalone server there. The player-base of season 6 is getting lower and lower as more people start to taste the new seasons and remain there. Due to that we are forced to adapt to new things in order to keep being relevant on the MU Online scene. Our Season 6 project(s) will continue as normal until there are no more players to sustain them, which hopefully won't happen too soon, as we invested a lot of time and love in our projects. Our next project will start somewhere at the beginning of September. OldSquad - Inception - The 3rd edition of the old Max30RR server. Inception is the server where everything started in our community, and we're working on a bigger revamp of it, bringing new systems and features for you to enjoy. A fixed date for the start will be announced at the end of August, along with full info about the server. So, make sure to be free at the beginning of September to start a new journey in our world! Bob will be delivered (you'll have to download a new client when it will be updated, as it can't be updated via Launcher). About the skins - skins are available only from the pool of mobs (any skin is a direct skin of mobs, can't be customizable unless the mob skin is changed as well). What I can do is to make a pool of 12-20 skins that can be given randomly to people, each one with different skin, but all skins must have the same animation time for move, so if you really want such thing I'm up for suggestions of skins for pool, and I'll test which of them can be added.

Hello, It's a client issue that happens from time to time but it's not fixable. What you can do, though, to not be affected by it, is to press K when you are in chaos machine and it does happen (so you will open the extra inventory and put back the item or etc.).

Yes, it was a issue with sync after kill (taking the safe-zone of the dead person before finishing the quest), it is fixed now, and the checks will happen each 10 seconds instead of each second. I also reset the quest for everyone. The swamp thing - nothing can be done, when you take a quest you expect getting persons from higher maps.

Pretty sure nobody cares who's leaving or who's playing. Nobody force anyone to do things they don't like (in this case, playing). But just leave in silence, you look pathethic with such crybaby topics. Good luck further!

While the broken coords can happen for sure, there is also another reason which will be fixed, where only first 15 ppl are saved for the same coords on reconnect/relog/death.

1. We're considering the option to change from ML to normal and vice-versa at the cost of halving the points instead of resetting them to 0. 2. What you're speaking about can work only on a system that has over 500-600 registered players all the time, so the pool is big enough, else you'll never find such target with low number of people registered. In future if there will be more people on the system there will be some stages and other improvements, but for now it can't work. 3. It's possible that you had only 2 slot space in inventory and it was requiring 3 slots for the reward (small bug, will be fixed). There aren't any messages if you have the space or not, but it's my only guess that can happen if you finish quest without reward. Rewards in future will be adjusted at any stage of the game, for sure, but when the system will be 100%. We thought about removing support chars from event, but we'll instead make more stages (it was planned from start anyway), where you start with smaller exp (for all chars) and progress through kills and other type of quests. For now we'll let as it is to have enough chars in system so we can test and fix things having higher sample. About the guild/ally, on the next improvements it will first search outside of guild/ally players, if it won't find anything it will assign from guild/ally. What we're working on: - Reassign another target if the current target is on the same gens family and it is on a gens map. - Skip EE punishment if EE is mercenary. - Try to reassign another target if current are in safe-zones. - Show current target when writing /pvpquest while a quest is up. - We're considering a "repel" feature where the targets can earn 30 points if they kill the mercenary that comes for them before being killed by them.

Those that made a proper feedback and left their char names have been rewarded. What was possible (and good) to do during this current edition was released in the latest update. But there are still things that we consider good enough to be made or adjusted for the next edition (including economy, chars tweaks and other aspects). I'll leave this topic open for discussions or further feedback but rewards are closed now. Cheers.

Fixed, it was accepting only with add 16 (exactly), now it will accept any add over 16. I'll update the test server with all the changes and updates that were made on official server as it's based on first settings.

The 24h limitation was considered before the idea of reseting the points. We'll reduce the entry time to 4-8 hours, for those that are just looking for small pvp time and lower reward(s). Still waiting feedback or any improvements you may think of, as I'm starting its development and will release a beta system soon hopefully.

Hello, Based on this previous topic discussions (https://oldsquad.ro/forum/topic/3170-new-pvp-idea/), we tried to combine both @Gion's idea and @Legion's idea with your own feedback into a new PvP system that I'll present below, and you can still bring your feedback before actually implementing it. Mercenary Squad is a new OPTIONAL PvP System where anyone who wants more PvP can join. The system works in the following ways: You can register into the squad by writing /registerpvp. After you join you need to wait at least 24 hours before leaving it. In order to leave you need to write /unregisterpvp. You can join/leave for any number of times you want. There are 2 types of registration: Normal Level & ML, that will reflect only the reward. There will be a PvP Ranking on website for those registered. Features for those that register: There are 3 levels of seals that you get by registering, which will upgrade in time: First Seal is automatically given after you register, it will increase your Normal Exp (if you register for normal exp) or Master Exp (if you register for ML exp) with 8%. Second seal will give you 14% exp. Third seal will give you 20% exp. All seals will also have a visual effect on your character so people will know that you're part of the Mercenary Squad. You will bypass Fairness Gaps versus other Mercenaries. You will bypass PK Limit vs other Mercenaries. You will bypass Non-PvP invasions vs other Mercenaries. You will bypass Non-PvP maps vs other Mercenaries. There are 3 options that we thought of about PK between Mercenaries and will let you choose the best one: 1. Free PK between Mercenaries on any place (not getting murderer). 2. Normal PK between Mercenaries (you get murderer as usual). 3. Free PK between Mercenaries on 2-4 random maps selected each week from the highest ones, while on rest of maps will be normal PK. There is also a Mercenary Quest system that can be accessed once every 12 hours with the command /pvpquest. This command will assign you a random ONLINE player from the Mercenary Squad that you need to kill in the next 15 minutes in order to finish the quest. If you fail the quest nothing will happen. If the target goes offline during those 15 minutes you will be assigned with another target and another 15 minutes. Other aspects of Mercenary Squad: There is a Point System in order to decide rankings for Mercenaries: You will get 1 point for every 10 minutes of ONLINE TIME while you are registered on the squad. You will get 25 points for every succesfull quest you make as well as 2x Jewel of Harmony. When you reach certain number of points & quests you will be rewarded: 720 points & 8 finished quests will upgrade your seal to the 2nd one. 2500 points & 20 finished quests will upgrade your seal to 3rd one. Extra rewards based on points & quests that will be added at a later stage. IMPORTANT! If you unregister from the Mercenary Squad you will LOSE all your ACCUMULATED POINTS! So, the higher the risk the higher the reward. Waiting your feedback before starting the implementation.

Today we also released another small patch with some fixes as well as improving once again the newbies experience. Hello, After more than 3 months since its start it is safe to assume that people already made an impression about the mid-game and early end-game gameplay that Phoenix does have. In order to offer you a close to perfection experience in our community servers we require your honest and constructive feedback, so we can know where to work more or what to exploit more in future. So, if you want to contribute for your own satisfaction, please let us know in this topic what you liked, what you didn't liked, what you would change/modify/adjust and anything else may help us to help you in future. The feedback should be related to: progression (items/exp-wise), events, features, drops, economy, newbies experience, etc. for the MID-GAME & EARLY END-GAME, if you have any suggestions for the things you didn't like they are welcomed. If you don't have anything that you didn't like (which is hard to believe) you can focus on what you liked the most (and what can be made even better). Anyone that come with a solid feedback (not 1-2 propositions wrote in a fast manner) will receive 300 credits as a small reward for your time and contribution (make sure to leave your character name in the reply). It's fixed, ML upgrades were not blocked by default. @izidorius Fire Scream is not blocked anymore as the bug with 1-hit was fixed days ago.
