      Hello,
      Based on this previous topic discussions (https://oldsquad.ro/forum/topic/3170-new-pvp-idea/), we tried to combine both @Gion's idea and @Legion's idea with your own feedback into a new PvP system that I'll present below, and you can still bring your feedback before actually implementing it.
      Mercenary Squad is a new OPTIONAL PvP System where anyone who wants more PvP can join.

      The system works in the following ways:
      You can register into the squad by writing /registerpvp. After you join you need to wait at least 24 hours before leaving it. In order to leave you need to write /unregisterpvp. You can join/leave for any number of times you want. There are 2 types of registration: Normal Level & ML, that will reflect only the reward. There will be a PvP Ranking on website for those registered. Features for those that register:
      There are 3 levels of seals that you get by registering, which will upgrade in time: First Seal is automatically given after you register, it will increase your Normal Exp (if you register for normal exp) or Master Exp (if you register for ML exp) with 8%. Second seal will give you 14% exp. Third seal will give you 20% exp. All seals will also have a visual effect on your character so people will know that you're part of the Mercenary Squad. You will bypass Fairness Gaps versus other Mercenaries. You will bypass PK Limit vs other Mercenaries. You will bypass Non-PvP invasions vs other Mercenaries. You will bypass Non-PvP maps vs other Mercenaries. There are 3 options that we thought of about PK between Mercenaries and will let you choose the best one: 1. Free PK between Mercenaries on any place (not getting murderer). 2. Normal PK between Mercenaries (you get murderer as usual). 3. Free PK between Mercenaries on 2-4 random maps selected each week from the highest ones, while on rest of maps will be normal PK. There is also a Mercenary Quest system that can be accessed once every 12 hours with the command /pvpquest. This command will assign you a random ONLINE player from the Mercenary Squad that you need to kill in the next 15 minutes in order to finish the quest. If you fail the quest nothing will happen. If the target goes offline during those 15 minutes you will be assigned with another target and another 15 minutes. Other aspects of Mercenary Squad:
      There is a Point System in order to decide rankings for Mercenaries: You will get 1 point for every 10 minutes of ONLINE TIME while you are registered on the squad. You will get 25 points for every succesfull quest you make as well as 2x Jewel of Harmony. When you reach certain number of points & quests you will be rewarded: 720 points & 8 finished quests will upgrade your seal to the 2nd one. 2500 points & 20 finished quests will upgrade your seal to 3rd one. Extra rewards based on points & quests that will be added at a later stage. IMPORTANT! If you unregister from the Mercenary Squad you will LOSE all your ACCUMULATED POINTS! So, the higher the risk the higher the reward.

      Relaying on getting ice resist pendants/rings is a hard one, getting ML is ofcourse easier. But sooner or later that ice arrow will land on you.  And thats just to counter 1skill from one char? I think it should atleast be reduced, 5 seconds is a long time during an event like cc. (AND FIX IT ALREADY, the stun bug that is)
      But in my opion stuff shouldnt the tuched to much. None has reached 10rr yet, none is near done with ML. Its impossible to point fingers at whats op and not currently. ML/LVL/RR plays a huge part
       I do however think DD is good as it is now, I got almost 60% myself, and still get hits for up to 3k+ if dd was to be reduced it would only benefit chars going for max damage, that already got insane absorb/internal def
      Socket items takes just ages to build, I know a few who are working on them.. but it just takes time.
      Its like you say, it just easier and quicker to get a exc set with 2 options for now.

      The problem with Ice arrow is that it acts like a stun instead of a mobility disable skill.
      You cant attack back, infact you cant even do any skills at all. Seems abit odd if we need to stack ''resist'' to counter a bug

      Last week was a kind of silent one, until a shadow came from past to hunt the top rankings reset players, a silent war started by Trau and his crew against those strong heroes, and the traces of midnight silent battles were seen every morning in safe zones.... The other wars for Main Events such as Invasions and Bosses were balanced, fights between NONE and Smurf were equal, pray divided between them.
        Another moment to remember this week was when NONE decided to share Land of Trial with all the server and invite all the fighters inside, to have an ancient epic feast, hoping that this generous gesture would straighten the eyes of the Gods toward them and with divine protection beside them will win again next day . 
       Saturday came, NONE and Smurf have been intensely prepared for this fight and as I told you, another page has been written in the History of the Castle :
       NONE warriors fought hard, just before the first hour of the siege, it seemed they would not be defeated, as they successfully rejected Smurfs assaults , but then something happened, something broke , they lost their balance.....
       On the other side, Smurf fought hard from beginning until end, with the fresh memory of the last defeat, they assaulted the Castle without stopping, until they felt the "smell of blood". That was the moment when they attacked the "open wound" that was opened inside NONE's guild chest and hit it with their best shot....  NONE collapsed and didn't found the power to reorganize, after they lost Crown in the middle of the fight, they felt overwhelmed by the enemy's force.
       The remaining time passed quickly and Smurf's warriors managed to win the Crown and put it on Yami's head. After these events some new questions begin to appear while the other old ones remains unanswered :
       How long Smurf will dominate the server? Does NONE has the strength to come back next week and take back the crown? Will the curse hunt them down ? Did they got the antidote?

      I make a little event for newbies on this Saturday between 15:00-18:00. Requirements : need to be a new player and need to have 1 PK( i need to check if u rly newbie)
      Prize is:  Pendant +edr , x2 rings +HP+DSR , Magic Backpack , 3 Chaos pack x10.

      That logic make no sense. It never has and never will be about who want it the most.
      Numbers play a huge part. if it didnt why not just go with 5 people who really wants it? ^^
      during power play does both teams has a equal chance?
      unbalanced is a good word to use for 7-8 people vs 20+

      Since we have no concludent answer from a majority yet, I suggest to you, @ADMIN, to create a poll, more like a referendum, where the players can choose between these ideas, or to keep the system as it is now.
      I also suggest that this poll to have a fixed date, announced, and to last only 6-12 hours. 
      If ADMIN accepts, I guess it's the Best time for you, the players, to come up with more ideas, so there will be more options.

      Hello guys!

      I'm Mitsakos and I come from Chalkida, Greece.
      My experience with MU Online started way back in 2004 and since then from years to years I try to find worthy servers to invest my precious time (and sometimes money) and have fun!
      I am 32 years old (33 in a few months T_T) and apart from (hardcore) online gaming actually I'm that kind of nerd who reads/collects comics (not manga)  and action figures, watching animes and all this kind of stuff.
      I found this server while searching some MU engines. I play on Phoenix because I wanted something that seems to be made of with love and caution, and I think I found it.
      I play (since 2004 ONLY) the Blade Knight class and I am the leader of a newly found guild called "IMMORTAL" ( I will be back later with some posts to promote our small guild in the proper forum section).  I am here for the past few days and I think it's a great server. And of course I didn't come alone. I brought all my friends who share the same passion for MU as me (we have been together to our journey in MU continent for the past 15 years or so) so we are here to stay and have fun.

      Hello, initially we thought about this: when you kill a player and gain the outlaw status, your pk points(from pvp system) won't be counted before you kill the player assigned by the new npc. Later we wrote 3-5 players instead of 1, thinking that you, the players, will like the idea. 
       
      In this manner, we will deacrease the number of pk points needed to clear your pk. 
       
      So killing this one Target will let you do the pk points. 
       
      So, we click on the npc(after we are outlaws), and on global chat it will be displayed "Gion is hunting". - now other players can look up for Gion on site to see If his level range matches theirs, so they can know if they can be a possible Target or not. 
       
      Some possible cases that might happen:
       
      -the assigned player to kill by the npc goes off-line, here you can click again on the NPC, and another player will by assigned
       
      -you can't find the respective player for 15 minutes, or you can't kill him(he has better gear or his friends are defending him) , you click again on the npc
       
      -we will try to assign players from different gens, If possible

      This seems kind of weird because who steals only 120creds ? and wiz enhance price is 3s. You say you have 1k credits missing can u show us in history where the rest 780 credit went and how ? because i only see 120 cred scale helm sold to donna where is the rest ?I know admin replied that they stole something but is there concrete proof that they did ? Like IP logs or anything ? This doesn't make any sense.

      Hello,
      Nobody guessed your passwords, both you and trau had the sessions mixed when logged in, the accounts you saw when you logged in were the acc's of the guys that robbed you, you got mixed on them and vice-versa.
      We couldn't reproduce that mix thing but we had applied extra patches to prevent it (if some1 still has the problem let us know).
      You won't lose anything, I'll return what was taken from you (personally, if ppl won't return them theirselves).
      I'll give them 15h from now to give what they robbed back, after that I'll parse all logs and block the accounts and ip's of ppl that didn't returned the things.
      Robbers includes Donna, Bonito, Shield etc. (they know better what they did)

      Just a completion, why do you think there is a set LIMIT on Credits for market? Because we don't support neither encourage higher item trades for credits. If you do so and 'cheat' our limit, you do it on your own risk and responsibility without any support if things go bad for you, the 'high credits' buyer.

      First what i want to say - thanks for improving rewards.
       
      I ve visited 2 times after patch. First time with 2 other players, second time - i was alone (others refused, reward - a few scrolls for each, not satisfied other players).
      Event description  : 
      But it was easy for me, i can complete this event alone with my SM and EE (both 400lvl+).
      For example 
      1 monster who pass, was invisible for my SM. Hanma (my bk) was afk at start, i thought mb i ll get extra reward for +1 char (its not working).  Drop from monsters - nothing interesting -  zens , and few times i saw devil eye / gold medal. Bosses ? Never seen any bosses in this event. Strongest monster - Darklord illusion, but its not a boss, am i right ? I killed many Darklords, but no any silver chests appeared, 
       
      Best of all, this event takes place alone, because then the whole reward, all the scrolls+elixirs - just for yourself. And do not have to share at all.
      Rewards better than was, but mostly players anyway will not visit this event. I can understand players - they hunt condor feathers (IT), farm exp and ancientsT (CC-DS), farm bundled jewels and TOCA (imperial), farm exp and very good items (old bok in BC), that is why ordinary players consider it not a very interesting reward - a 3 hour buff.
      Probably, this event will be attended mainly by those who are preparing for the CS event. But if administration wants to make this event more popular for ordinary players - need more changes.
       
      ps. I have some questions.
      - Bosses, there are they ? I know how they looks (on other servers), and i dont seen any. 
      - How players can know - what s the lvl of event they will participate ? No any info about entry lvls for this event
       
      Only reward description in server info topic.

      How to participate?
      There are 8 levels of Blood Castle in the game and you can enter depending on your level. You can participate in the event by crafting an invitation first.
      You need Blood Bone, Scroll of Archangel (dropped from mobs, both need to be the same level as the BC you are trying to get into) and Jewel of Chaos mixed in the chaos machine. Success chance depends on server settings.

      You can check for which level of BC you are by typing /entries in the MU chat. This will also show you the daily limit of participating in events. Finally, to enter the event you must go to "Messanger of Archangel" NPC either in Lorencia (bar) or Davias (church) and select the corresponding level of BC.

      How to play?
      The main goal in the event is to take the quest item which drops from the statue and give it to the fallen angel.
      There are few stages. First you need to kill monsters so you can get to the castle gate. The count depends on the players participating in the event - 40 monsters per player. After you kill the monsters and destroy the gate, you can enter the castle room. There you will have to kill specific monster "Magic Skull". Again, the count depends on the players participating in the event - 2 monsters per player.After you've killed the requiered magic skulls there is one last challenge - to destroy the Statue of Saint which drops the quest item, an archangel weapon.

      The final step is easy enough, you return the weapon to the fallen archangel. There are 2 NPCs for you convinience - one at the beggining of the map and one in the castle room.

      Notes:
      Keep in mind that the player (party) with most damage will get the weapon from the statue so you need to be careful. Only one party will get rewards for returning the quest item. BC is mainly used for experience (and rewards if you're the lucky party). Good spot for experience is right infront of the castle gate as there are more mobs than the room. Buffs from pumpkins are really useful for BC if you are not that strong. You can set up mu helper to pick up parts for invitation by adding "Blood +X" and "Arch +X" where "X" is the desired level of BC. Blood and Arch are just an example, there are many more variants of the item words but this will do the trick. What are the rewards?
      Rewards depend on server settings but they are usually jewels, old boxes, demon or angel.

      My critics of Voyager's guide is that there are a few suboptimal points.
      First, if your base dmg is less than 1500, lvl/20 is much better than 2% dmg inc. Here are two screenshots in part of a guide on item choice I'm making: https://imgur.com/a/7ZP1zc5 . As you can see, there is a huge difference in damage when you are level 600 (400+200ML). IMHO, best options for low stats server are always edr+lvl/20 or edr+speed.
      The second point is that you wasted 10 points in SD regen increase. If you are not equipped Volcano armor+380 option, your SD is only regenerated in safezones. I'd rather put that 10 points in HP regens. I would also put 15 points in def increase and 5 point in AG regens if I cant use fireslash continuously.

      These votes were never fair. Only players, who are active on forum, will vote. That inherently creates a sampling bias problem. For important vote like this, I would suggest there is a global message in game to remind all players.

      Chaos drop rate needs to be decreased imo , They went from costing 1b1s to over flooding server and costing nothing.
      I dont get why if you are orange and someone from your party kills someone you get phono ? Bug maybe  not sure.
      Feathers drop is way to low i played since start haven't got one feather or crest i know people get them but damn people charging 60 jewels for feathers is crazy maybe i am just insanely unlucky.
      3d camera lags really hard even though i have a good video card that should run this game in its sleep.
      Otherwise everything is pretty well done and i like that you fixed a lot of problems from non rr.

      Just to add, I love shazam's genius suggestion. Item upgrade on website should be based on stage. First stage you can only upgrade an item to +10, then +11, so on.

      It's my pleasure to play Phoenix. There are a lot of improvements compared to previous Oldsquad database. Here are some that come to my mind right now:
      Drop rate is at the right spot and thus many players are not hesitated to upgrade there items.  Hight level normal items are valuable, this brings back good old memory. Remove online time and limited 1 account/ip for some events are a good move to boost single player experience (I'm a bit sad though). However, I know that there are many unique players sharing the same ip. If we are able to change the limitation of account/ip to account/machine. It should be better. I like the change to Icarus, now you can farm for both levels and feather. However, the competition there is a bit too steep. Solo players and kind players cant challenge tryhard players for spots. I suggest to add a very rare chance for feather and crest to drop from Icarus monsters in Devil square (4?5?) Character progression feels smoother because the spots are gradually harder , unlike before. Perhaps reduces the drop rate of chaos to make it a good currency. Fix the drop of high-level boots if that is not intentional. Boost PVP by modifying the kill cap. Right now it's similar to previous server, PK is a ratting game where you kill one then wait and repeat. Instead, the kill cap should be based on number of UNIQUE players that you kill. Or do anything.. I hate the ratting game so much. Fix the Jewel of life success rate. Balance out BK's PVM dmg. Overall, best configuration so far in the last 3 years.

      Hi, i had a lot of fun during the first 2 weeks and of course some feedback.
      The Good:
      - The XP increasing with level seems like a great idea so far, spreading the grind
      - Not OP medal drops make hunting meaningful again. Best times so far was hunting with mates, for equipping ourselves and guildmates and selling.
      - New VIP system seems cool and balanced so far (not OP). I'm curious if people bought Farmer, it feels a little under-powered.
      - Nice balancing of events rewards. It's cool seeing IT3 full
      - Char balancing seems better than NoRR. Still hard to get the full picture at only lvl 300. MG might be a little too strong. If it doesn't scale so well at high level it's fine, but otherwise keep an eye on it.
      - While the zen shortage can be frustrating sometimes, i think it adds a new layer to the game. Well done!
      - Higher jewels drop works as intended. It's cool seeing people upping low exc and hunted sets. Maybe chaos drop could be a bit lower.
       
      The Not so Good:
      - While i think the XP stages are the best feature of the server, i think the current implementation is a bit too harsh (long) for some players. I know 3-4 people that quit, discouraged by it. Maybe the same effect could be obtained with multiple shorter stages (4-5 instead of 2-3).
      - The initial mob drops +5+16 was not a great idea. Good thing it was fixed early. You could keep that in the future just for the very low maps (Lore, Noria, Elb1, Devias1)
      - Medals are a bit underwhelming now. For future editions i suggest keeping the current drop, but moving them lower (Heart - Devias to LT1, Silver Medal LT1 to LT 7, Gold Medal Atlans 2 to Kanturu1). After Kanturu1, you're supposed to get hunted items or Exc anyway. I'd say don't go over 12 add max from medals.
      - The high level sets (GD, DS, DM, RS etc) drop order is a little messed up, Gloves and Boots drop at higher mobs than Armor/Pants/Helm. Makes more sense to keep the original drop order
      - Removal of the alliance was not a good idea imo, when people usually play 2-3 characters. I think the initial solution of Ally not coming to CS/no LoT access was the best, allowing people to stay in touch but not having OP guilds.
      - I think max level for upping items on web should be increased with stages, to avoid having OP items in the first part of the game. Stage 1 could unlock max +11, Stage 2 max +12 and add luck
       
      Other suggestions:
      - To encourage more active play and less afk you might wanna explore a little higher XP and lower number of mobs on a spot.
      - It would be nice to have hunt maps. Kalimas, for example - with lower exp and higher drop.
       
      All in all, a great experience during the first weeks.
