      We're ready to bring you a new great journey into our MU world!
      We've been working on the past weeks to finish the next edition of Inception, an edition that is bringing a lot of new & fun things as well as a lot of balance features and tweaks to keep the competition level high, as we all seek to.
      Inception's 4th edition will be officially launched on Friday, 25 SEPTEMBER, at 19:00 Server Time (GMT+3). MOBS will spawn at 20:00 Server Time (GMT+3)!

      The Test Server will be released for public starting from next week.
      As we're always striving for, we expect this Inception edition to be the best to be seen yet in our community.
      Some of the new things that this Inception edition will feature:
      Council Group Council will be the "voice of the players" for this Inception's edition. We will interact directly & actively with members of the Council for a better game for everyone. Note: We'll try to have at least 1 representative for each *bigger* guild as a member of our Council, as well as people that had / will have contributions in terms of feedback/suggestions/bug reports/etc. New Stage System Now after a stage is completed it will no longer affect others (the exp of that reset goes back to the same exp of the previous reset). Now apart from the Stage breakers (first 3 people to finish a stage) that will keep their own reward, there will be rewards for everyone that progressed through stage based on the level they had when the stage was completed. Now the EXP boosts for newbies will be added after each stage completion (and will benefit everyone who is not in top 100 at that moment). Important: The players that finish a stage won't be able to continue leveling until the stage is officially over for everyone. A stage will be officially over after 12 hours since the 3rd player finished it. Exception: If the 3rd player does finish the stage between 15:00 and 22:00 server time then the stage will be officially over only at 10:00 next day (due to sleep interval). This is meant to assure the next stage will be more fair in terms of competition. So, by progressing through the stage you'll win both rewards and a better position to compete for the next one. Dynamic Characters Balance Now after each stage, we'll be adjusting the characters that either OVERPERFORM or UNDERPERFORM in either PvP or PvM at that stage of the game. The adjustments will be based on the Council's feedback. Duel Gamble System Fight your enemies and/or friends for bets in jewels/credits. Winner get em' all. More info about it you can find on Official Topic -> PvP System -> Duel Gamble System. Imperial Guardian V2 along with weekly rankings for speed-run records of parties Enjoy a harder Imperial event alongside personal rewards, extra optional rewards as well as weekly rankings for speed-running competitions in teams of 5 different classes. More info later. OldSquad Soccer System & Soccer Nights Had a bad week? No problem, @Gion will guarantee you have a fun experience on our Soccer Nights to make it up (hosted usually in weekend). No friends/guild needed. Everyone will be part of a random-made team based on the registration pool. Extra Warehouses ingame Starting from this edition, players will be able to access multiple warehouses on the same account. Basically, you will have your *MAIN* warehouse as usually, and you'll gain access to extra (empty by default) warehouses where you can deposit your things: Non-VIP characters do have 2 extra warehouses. Dealer & Hunter VIP characters will have 3 extra warehouses. Professional VIP characters do have 4 extra warehouses. In order to access such extra warehouses you need to type the command /ware (0/1/2/3/4) where the number = warehouse number. Example: /ware 0 (will switch to your main warehouse, which is always set by default and after each relog). Example2: /ware 1 (will switch to your 2nd warehouse). Note: Characters that had VIP and it expired will no longer be able to access the extra warehouse(s), but items will not be lost, they can be accessed back after you renew your VIP. Note2: The Game Warehouse from Website does use ONLY the *MAIN* warehouse. Improvements to the Mother-Kid concept to make it more feasible towards (re)populating Inception Lower wait-time for transfers, faster peace Wormhole, additional transfer options for those that started Wormhole later but managed to make enough resets. Separated sub-server for gens maps (Server 2) to improve performance Extra things: All the improvements, fixes & new features that were added since Phoenix's start up to now have been adjusted accordingly and added to Inception as well. Now you can get DDI% (from harmony) only from item level + 11 (instead of + 9). Note: Maximum DDI% per item is now 5% instead of 7% (1% at +11, 3% at +12, 5% at +13). Credits reward for submitting a Guide and have it accepted. Credits reward for submitting a Suggestion and have it accepted & implemented. IMP now increases damage / wiz damage with +12% instead of +20%. Demon now increases damage / wiz damage with +18% instead of +30%. Now there's maximum 4 GM boxes that can be obtained by each loser of CS. Now if the GM of team with lowest points at CS has quitted, the 2nd lowest points team will receive the periodic Life Stones. + many other things that you can find by reading all of our info as well as playing the test & the official game.

      Legion's work wasn't public mostly, but he had a big impact in many of the gameplay changes, a lot of brainstorms together behind the scenes.

      As you may have noticed already, we've reworked the forum structure in order to spread the information more accurately as well as improving the ways of handling suggestions/reports.
      We've also archived all the topics older than 1-1.5 years old across all sections.
      All sections can now be seen by both guests and members.

      We're trying to revive the guides section with fresh content, so starting from our next edition, any good & accepted guide can grant you 100~300 credits.       Anyone from our community can submit hand-made guides that are not copy-pasted and that are in line with our custom settings / features.
      You can make a guide about almost anything related to our server(s). Starting from events, characters, gameplay, tips & tricks, etc.
      In order for your guide to be approved it must be manually accepted by one of our staff members, and to achieve that it must contain:
      Character name of the submitter (for the potential reward). Clear information that is respecting our settings. At least 2 photos. Minimum 200-250 words. Your own words (copy-paste is forbidden). Decent formatting. If the guide is accepted it will appear along the other already existing guides and players can use it for inspiration.
      Any accepted guide will grant you 100~300 credits depending on the subject, information and the work you've put in it.

      This is the official information topic for our custom Soccer System.
      Soccer System Info
      Just like in the normal Soccer, there are 2 teams fighting in the Soccer Stadium, located in Arena. Each team must have its own dedicated Guild to participate at the Soccer. A team can consist of 1 up to 5 players. We do recommend 3v3 -Obviously in party, else how can the game know which 1 to 5 players from a guild to select? You can write /soccer GuildName to start a Soccer (only in low zones). Basic Info: All soccer participants are immune to damage. That means, you aren't able to kill any of the opponents (so, anyone is free to join, no matter level/resets). In order to win, you have to be the first team to reach 5 goals (100 points). If the GM (captain) of the other Team does leave game (switch character/disconnect) you auto-win the game. You can't use items (especially Antidote) during Soccer. Pets (Fenrir/Dark Horse/Raven/Uniria/Dino) are not allowed at Soccer (you get Stun until you put them in Inventory). You can't leave soccer map during a game. Each character can use only one skill, based on its class/build. If the soccer ball is "stuck" in a corner, it will get an auto unstuck, being "jumped" into a random location near the corner where it got stucked. If you are visually bugged (you can't see the ball) you need to go to the other corner of the stadium compared to the ball and then come back in. Gameplay - Skilled part: Instead of damaging opponents, each player has a "STUN" effect, added on the first attack every 20 seconds. Basically, you are able to STUN opponents, one at a time, with a 20 seconds cooldown between stuns. The first touch of the opponent (with the skill or left click attack) when cooldown is available will cause the STUN effect on him. You can write "/stun on" and "/stun off" to enable/disable your STUN, by default it is enabled. Note: You can make a macro writing /1 /stun on and /2 /stun off and then press ALT+1 and ALT+2 to enable/disable the STUN during soccer. Gameplay - Random & FUN Part: Every 30 seconds, 1 random player from each team is BUFFED or CURSED. The effect is the same for both teams (if one is BUFFED the other is BUFFED as well, with the same effect). There is a 33% chance for BUFF and 66% chance for CURSE. Duration of buffs is 15 seconds. Duration of curses is 10 seconds. Buffs:  Quickness Effect - It will boost movespeed. Protection Effect - Immune to stuns from players. Curses:  Ice Effect - Will decrease movespeed. Ice Arrow - Will put ice arrow effect on the character, making it unable to move, but it can attack. Blind Effect - Will block the character soccer skill. Characters Attributes: RF:  PRO: 8 Seconds STUN. PRO: Very powerful shots on Ball. CONS: 2 Range on Soccer Skill (Chain Drive). CONS: Can't get Ball out of bad zones. CONS: Hard to play/master, can harm your team with his shots. SM/MG:  PRO: 6 Range on Soccer Skill (Lightning). CONS: 5 seconds STUN. BK: PRO: 7 seconds STUN. CONS: 3 Range on Soccer Skill (Death Stab). DL:  PRO: 6 seconds STUN. CONS: 4 Range on Soccer Skill (Force). AE: PRO: 6 Range on Soccer Skill (Penetration). PRO: Can use left-click attack with 6 range that can STUN as well. PRO: Blind Curse doesn't reduce AE's power (she can use left-click if skill is blocked). CONS: 4 seconds STUN. SUM: PRO: 5 Range on Soccer Skill (Drain Life). PRO: 15s cooldown on STUN instead of 20. CONS: 5 seconds STUN.

      Hello,
      We are starting some big & nice things to motivate you guys on being active on this community and also to bring you a competition and lots of fun!
      4-5 days per week (from monday to sunday) will bring you 1 different event that will be hosted by @Gion.The time range when the events will be held will be between 16:00 and 00:59 Server Time. None of the events will be announced prior to their start, the qualifiers will just spawn on cities when the Event does start. One of the events from each week might start at any hour (outside of the 16:00-00:59 interval).
      We have introduced a brand NEW rewarding system (OldSquad Points). For additional info, please read further.
      List of the weekly events:
      Russian Roulette
      Death Roll
      Black Jack
      Game of War
       
      Each of this events will bring you the normal rewards of the event + OS Points depending on your performance (Place/Score,etc.)
       
      What are OS Points?
      OS Points are our new competitive points for which we made a new interesting system and competition.
      Each month there will be big rewards for first players with the most OS Points and also a default reward for a minimum amount of points. (1st place of the competition will get a GOLDEN FENRIR)
       
      How can you obtain OS Points?
      You will be able to obtain OS Points by:
      - Winning / Participating (at) weekly events from server (Black Jack, Russian Roulette, Game of War, Death Roll) - the 4 events listed upside.
      - Posting hand-made guides on forum (if the guide is accepted you gain a nice amount of OS Points). - Inactive feature for now
      - Winning some forum events. - Inactive feature for now
       
      Competition System 
      The "OldSquad Golden Months" competition is our biggest monthly competition that involves any kind of player from this community that is active. Resets/Level DOESN'T matter, so anyone can participate even if he started the game yesterday.
      Your main objective is to gather as many OS Points as you can, participating at as many tasks as possible that gives you points and working your ass out for our big prizes.
      Points will be given as following:
      - For weekly events : 1st place - 25 OS Points, 2nd place - 20 OS Points, 3rd place - 15 OS Points, 4th place - 11 OSP, 5th place - 8 OSP, all the other places / participants from main events will get 5 OS Points.
      - Any good & accepted Hand-Made Guide (to be adapted to our community / settings / gameplay, etc.) will earn you 5-15 OS Points, depending on the quality. - Inactive feature for now
      - Forum events can bring you from 1 to 5 OSP depending on event. - Inactive feature for now
      The 1st place (winner of the competition) will also enter the "Legends" group.
      We are still developing this system and only time can improve it as much as possible by adding new things or removing others. So we'll see how it goes, we hope that it will be a nice thing to motivate you.
      ***You can check the OSGM Rankings on the website, click Rankings, then hit OldSquad Golden Months (you have to select your server, too).
      At the end of the month, if 2 players are having the same amount of OSP, the number of participations will do the shootout.
      Legends Group
      Legends is our new Forum group where the "legends" of OldSquad will be listed.To be a legend means:
      - Being an oldie member of this community with some achievements (like 1st full char on different editions, impressive performances during an edition, etc.) - but only if the player is still active on this community he have the slot on legends (players that did some achievements for 1-2 months and then left doesn't have any right for this group).
      or
      - Being a retired member of staff that helped this community with visible things not only with the name.
      or
      - Proving loyalty to this community and also remarkable performances on game or remarkable contributions to this community (apart from staff).
      or
      - Winning 1st place of the new "Golden Months" competition.
       
      What "advantages" has this group?
      Firstly, it's the fame (that even if it seems underrated is still something that people like to have on the online zone).
      Secondly, the members of this group are more trusted from us on their reports and also have a bigger word to say on major changes or ideas as they have enough experience here to know what's better or what's not good.
      And the last thing, members of this group will always have a "priority" on the vote polls (like if there is a situation of 50%-50% on a vote poll but one of the choices have more "legends" votes, that option will win).

      So, there have been a few instances where my merc target happened to be in kalima1, 2, 3 etc. I think this is a bit silly, as you basically need to either carry all 7 lost maps with you to prevent the possibility, or buy one as soon as you get the quest(you certainly won't be farming a full lost map in 15 minutes). Moreover, I believe some merc players deliberately AFK there to prevent themselves being killed while they AFK.

      I have few announcements to make and I'll try to keep them short enough.
      Firstly, I would like to introduce you our new Administrator - Community Manager - @Gion.
      Gion has been part of our Community as a Head Admin since a long time.
      He did his job in a good manner until now so he's ready to take the next step in our Community as an Administrator.
      Basically he is getting my current position as a Community Manager, which means he will cover the entire non-technical community support as well as few new mini-projects.
      You may have noticed a slow response-time from my side as well as a lower forum activity compared to normal. This was because I'm stepping out from public relationships for now (reason: "burnt-out") and I'll remain to work in the backstage for the technical/creative aspect as well as the game design of our current and future projects.
      I will still be active on facebook for technical support - which I ask you to use it exclusively for technical support. For any other kind of support you'll have to contact @Gion in the usual places (forum,game,facebook). He'll pass me the message/inquiry if needed.
      Secondly, soon we'll have a rework of the forum that will imply changes in the process of submitting bugs/suggestions to make them more efficient, as well as other forum tweaks.
      Thirdly, @Gion will be handling 2 of our new mini-projects:
      - Community Council - This will be a new forum & discord group where we'll select some active players, which will represent the community of players, in order to facilitate a good relationship between us as staff and players.
      Our goal is to have at least 1 player from each of the "big" guilds, as well as different type of extra players (newbies,old players,etc.)
      We'll use the discord group to communicate for improvements/bugs and anything related for both current and future projects.
      More info soon.
      - Soccer Night - Some of you know, most of you don't. We do have a very nice custom soccer system that we've developed on Inception but we failed to put it in use (lack of players interested) in it's previous forms of organization.
      We'll try to put it again in use, but this time under a totally new structure that we do hope will assure that any participant does have real chances no matter if he has friends to play with or not.

      People who want this are either not seeing the full picture, or want the game to be p2w. Either way, you should have no say about how to run the server. The same people that scrape by with their hard earned items and take 1 week to put together 500 credits to buy the next piece of their anubis set while you rape them in events with the +12 set you bought for 30 euros(not saying everyone who has a +12 set is a heavy cash buyer, mind you) are the ones keeping the server active and fun, for you and everyone else.  The game needs p2w players, and it also needs f2p to be viable. Get over it.

      Hello,
      The current Inception edition has passed its deadline and due to the amount of players left active there is no point in keeping it online any longer.
      I highly believe it was our best edition yet, if we look at how long it was fully active (more than 4-5 months).
      It had a total of 28 patches (big & small) during a period of 6 months, that improved its overall quality further on.
      We think that we've reached a good & stable formula for our Inception server, which we'll try to conserve as much as possible for the next edition(s) where we'll focus mostly on quality of life improvements/features and characters tweaks, without any BIG concept changes, as it worked really good with the last iteration.
      The 4th edition will start somewhere between September and October.
      As for now, Inception will be closed tomorrow (24.05.2020) after the global maintenance.
      Thanks to everyone that took part in this edition and especially to those that kept playing it on the long run!

      In terms of PvP no characters will be touched at all, and AE (as presented) was meant to be the weakest on PvP.
      AE is still better on hunt than most chars (using phone chronometer and PvM builds between DL and AE for example - as we did ~1 month ago in test -  AE does kill a golden faster, in terms of seconds).
      Now, I do agree that it should be a bit more powerful on Hunt/PvM than she currently is, so that the difference can be actually seen easier not based on extra seconds vs other chars, especially if we add the energy requirement for ice arrow.
      As a conclusion, we will take into consideration a small PvM buff to AE so she can reflect much better her strongest point as opposite to her weakest point (PvP).

      Hello,
      Test server for Phoenix is now up.
      Client can be downloaded from Downloads section.
      Note: Characters were moved from Inception's Test-Server to reduce your time, just adjust them for Phoenix's stats.
      Note2: Server is like 85% done, we're still working and we'll work until Friday, so expect some things to not be fully working.
      We would appreciate if you can bring feedback related to the PvM concept to make sure all chars are fine under the new EE settings, as well as the difficulty of the bosses/mini-bosses.
